What Roles and Duties Best suit my players?

I don't know if anyone has asked this yet but i play rooney and hernandez together up front, what role should i use for rooney?
 
Help needed with Cesc Fabregas!

I'm playing with Arsenal, and my team and formation (4-4-2, or 4-2-4 depending on how you look at it) looks something like the following:

In addition, I play a fluid, short-passing, more roaming, zonal marking system with no one allocated as a primary playmaker. I play Cesc as an Adv. Playmaker - Attack, Nasri same, Wilshere - Inside forward - support, Song - Ball winning midfielder - defend, van Persie - Complete forward - support, and Walcott as a poacher. The problem is that I can't seem to get Fabregas to fit into the system, Nasri and Wilshere are both doing much better than him. Cesc just doesn't seem to be involved much in my games, he can't complete too many key passes and he is very inconsistent. I was hoping someone would know the role and advanced instructions that would suit him, in particular his passing style and closing down.

Here's what I would do. Set Cesc as a Central Midfielder - Support . Short passing,closing down in own half, cut into channels, through ball (often). He might need some time to blend in, but i must say that this has worked for me he was a beast in the midlefield. Dunno, 8 goals and 20 assists with average above 7.50. And he helped song to blend into the game.. that's really important how the co-position player responds to another players actions.

co-position player ? this just doesn't sound right XD

Will do, I'll give it it a try. Just one other thing, do you give him the freedom to roam and how about long shots and crossing, because he seems to be trying to cross the ball too much from the centre and he can't complete a single cross?

Try Lukaku as a advanced forward and Adriano Target man Attack
Adriano as a Target man attack worked for me

i need a role for diego forlan,cavani and suarez but i'm currently putting both cavani and suarez as a wing since im playing 4-2-4

Experiment with the roaming , run with ball and run from deep. Set crossing to sometimes and longshots to sometimes. You could try and give him alot of freedom if you intend to use him as a playmaker.

Set him to often pass the through ball.. With your formation through balls can be deadly, especially if your wingers are joining the attack !

Suarez - inside forward

Why playing cavani as wing ? Use cavani and forlan as the attackers and you should score alot of goals.

Use lukaku as a target man, might need more time to blend in but when he starts scoring, your jobe is done. He was a beast when I used him as a TM.

Adriano should do well as a TM too but look for an alternative .. deep lying forward or complete forward.

Anyways I have Messi and Villa as a striker duo. Villa is lighting it up with 11 in 10, Messi on the other hand only has 3 but has set up 5 with an average of 7.64. I am playing Villa as a poacher and Messi as a Trequarista.

My question is for Messi... most of his most important atts seem to be highlighted under that role but it does not highlight his 20 in dribbling so I am wondering if their is perhaps a role that would suit him better (and remember he is in a striker role).

Role for Torres and Hulk up front thanks. I was thinking Target Man and Poacher but I am not too sure. Some help would be great!

Try both on complete forwards, Toress on support and Hulk on attack
