What Roles and Duties Best suit my players?

Dzeko role & duty?

playing with 2 up front.. him with welliton who plays as a poacher

Posistioned both upfront, in a 4 - 4 - 2 formation.
 
I am currently using Rooney (Deep Lying Support) and Neymar (Poacher) as a partnership.
Still, Rooney can be inconsistent and he hasnt managed to unlearn "Shoots from distance" no matter how many times i have asked him to.

Should i keep him in his current role and just set long shots to mixed?
 
Edin Dzeko i played him in a 4-4-2 and he got 39 goals in his first season.

Neymar should be the inconsistent one, to be honest mate ! try Rooney as a Advanced forward - Attack
 
Now I know people say that Pastore is best as advanced playmaker attack, but what if I'm using a 4-1-2-1-2 formation with wide midfielders (not CM's)? My DM will probably be a ball-winner on support, and the wide midfielders will be on support, and I'll have a deep-lying forward on support and a target man on attack. I will probably select Pastore as the playmaker (or should I not?). Should I put him on advanced playmaker (or attacking midfielder) support? If I put him on attack, won't that make him push too far forward? I'm an Argentine team, and its the classic Argentine formation. The AMC is called the 'enganche,' which means hook, and is supposed to be the link between the midfield and the forwards. I was thinking it would be better to put him on support because of this. But then again, should I put him on attack since that's what he's best at? And since he's by far my best player, should I put him on attack so he works his magic?

What do you guys think? Make the player role based on the tactic or based on what the player is best at?

Neymar was indeed inconsistent in his first season for me, in his second season he was briliant though.

And thanks, but wouldnt that mean that the gap to my midfield would be to to large? (Am playing a flat 4-4-2 and have tried Ganso as Advanced Playmaker-Attack, but the gap is still large)

An Advanced Forward is like a *** mate, running from the left to the right crossing, provide space ..

Ok, i'll try it :)

If it doesnt work out i can always go back to Deep Lying - Support/Attack with Long Shot mixed.
 
Any ideas for Fred? A Brazilian striker I'm playing along side sergio arujo who's set as a poacher.

I have been wondering wether I should change the positions of my strikers...​


I have been using him as a Poacher and as you can see he scores a lot! But... the game suggest me to use him as a Target Man....​

The other one is a bit better known and I guess some of you might have experience with him. I am using him as an Advanced Forward, but the games suggests me to use him as a Poacher​
