Looking for a team from a more obscure European nation which is already dominated by one team, for example FCK in Denmark. I hope to overthrow their reign and eventually become a contender for Champions/Europa Leagues.

Ideally i'd like to manage a side in the second division of the country with the aim of promotion in the first season.

And a lenient rule on non-eu players would be ideal!

Thanks in advance =)

You could take Hajduk Split from Croatia, their league is dominated by Dinamo Zagreb, two clubs have great rivalry, Croatia also get great regens, could be fun save. Or take Red Star, from Serbia, same situation like in Croatia, perhaps is there even greater rivalry than in between Dinamo and Hajduk. Partizan Belgrade has been dominating league for 5 years. Red Star already have few young gems, who could become great players...

Always start with league 2 ( English ) team! Rotherham normally! New stadium and new ambitions! Boring starting at the very top level u have no where to go! ........ Got them promoted first season and sacked 10 games in to the next season now manager of relegated Doncaster 3 seasons later ... League two again!

I have had two saves on FM '13 and in both of them Pompey have been bought out and received some form of stability but still, a massive challenge none the less. My challenge is being a Colchester tragic, always entertaining if you are game enough.

Hi guys...

I was planning to start a save with a national team ( Belgium or Sweden). Then later by about 2016(in game world) I plan to resign from it and join some club team( probably a fallen club).

I do not intend to manage both simultaneously. First National and then club...

My Q is that I remember in fm'11, my game used to crash whenever I played with a national team somewhere in the future...

DOES THE GAME CRASHES WHEN YOU START YOUR NEW SAVE/STORY WITH A NATIONAL TEAM ONLY...?????

thanks...

Any team from EPL or Liga which suit 4-2-3-1, healthy budget and a mid table kinda team?
Thanks in advance~

Does anyone know of a country in Europe, with a decent league and very low taxes, like AS Monaco? I have tried Monaco but it's very annoying since I can only sign 2 non-EU players from abroad per year, and it takes over 3600 days to become a Monaco citizen. So basically I cannot sign any good south American youngsters from their homelands.

Cardiff. lots of fun. not a lot of money but lots of quality players for the championship. Plus you get to mutter whilst you play in a Welsh accent. Aint that right boyo

Russia and Ukraine have low taxes, only problem being the foreign player rules, but easy enough to get some top quality home grown players if you have the facilities.

looking for team from england/spain/germany where can I buy someone! I mean I have 13.3.0 update and every team have 0 transfer budget. I cant sell anyone, and buy someone new :(

Before starting a new game, tick "Allow First Window Transfer Budgets", that could solve that problem of yours...

If anyone wants a new challenge check out Denmark, don't choose Kobenhaven, i started with AaB and i love it!

I'm at work and thinking about playing FM again for my week off. I rage quit about 5 months ago from my Arsenal save after losing a game to Montpellier (I think) I needed to at least draw for CL knockout stages (and a pathetic 7th in league)

My biggest annoyance was pouring through lists of players (i turned off that attribute masking) and being frustrated that most of the people I wanted couldn't get work permits. So I want a team in a league that can pretty much sign from any country, is relativly easy cause I still suck at this game. I was thinking SLB in Portugal but don't understand work permit rules enough.

My main problem is I start heaps of games and spending hours upon hours in the first 2 months signing players and setting up tactic, only to get the season underway and just do terribly and quit in frustration.

Keep making new saves as Chelsea and Tottenham and want a change want a team that are mid-table sides that you could potentially make champions of the league and qualify for europe!
