i seen a fm story somebody doing atalanta in serie a, tempted by them
or should i try panathanikos in greece, would be a good team not sure which

I'm afraid that I wouldn't touch either club with a bargepole if I were you. Given the dire straits Greece is in, Panathinaikos would probably be broke, while Atalanta would probably be docked points in the game because of the match-fixing scandals.

yeah they minus 2 points, and greece league seems kinda fun who would you suggest what league not england bored of it
mid table/bottom half team somewhere?

I want a team which is very fun to manage, a bit challenging, good youth. In England, Germany, Italy, France or Spain. First tier or second. And a team with an history! (Like won the league or an Europa Cup in the past.)
Thanks!

How about the Russian league? It has lots of money, so it isn't difficult to make a team successful in a short space of time, especially a club like Anzhi or Zenit.

For a REAL! challenge How about Nottm Forrest? Take them from Championship regulars back to the top of European football! Just like Cloughy!

Im looking for the ultimate challenge for a team. Since winning the world cup with san marino im struggling to get into a save. Want to play network games to pit my wits against other managers but my Internet is too ****** ( using my phone right now).

Heres my criteria: not in spain, italy or england and a tough challenge! Maybe somewhere obscure

Cheers if anyone can find a chalkenge for me!

what was the swiss top division team with something stupid like 36 points taken off them, trying to stay up with them would be a good challenge, would have to be the default database for a proper challenge though as there was a club removed from the top flight of switzerland in the jan patch meaning the league is down to 9 teams first season and you would be garunteed a relegation playoff anyway if you used it.

failing that you could take the san marino challenge a step further and repeat it but only using players from the campionato sammarinese, club side becoms boring quicker then San Marino Clacio though with the only challenge being europe.

Have you tried MLS, just getting your head around the rules is a decent challenge in itself, once you do though it can be good fun for a few seasons.

Thanks for the reply. I did think about Switzerland, but I think after just a couple of season or so the league would no longer become a challenge because of the strength of the other teams in there.

I've decided to go for the following challenge of bringing Arrigo Sacchi out of retirement and starting Unemployed, managing in countries I haven't done before and building a journeyman career. I may make a story about it.

yeah the swiss league would definately get boring after a few seasons but it would make a great 1 season challenge to overhaul that sort of deficit.

A journeyman save could be good fun, where abouts are you thinking of going?

I'm going to start a story today but don't know who to go as i was thinking Bayern Munich but im not to sure any suggestions?

would love to start an italian save :) and re-live some the childhood moment I had watching Football Italia from 1992 to it's very end in 2008

but who to go that's the ?, I don't want to be in European football (first season) so that rules out Juve, Both Milan clubs, Lazio, Napoli & Udinese

Fiorentina?

one of my best saves was with them on FM11

help please! had a few long term saves, but now cant find one. Want a challenge dont care what league, thanks!!

What's the best team in England/Spain/Germany to develop into the future? I'm bored with my saves and need a challenge. Never manage to stay in the same club for more than 2 seasons. It's about time to do it lol. Needs to be a club with some money and good youth players/system for the future.

What's your opinions guys?

Athletic Bilbao is a tough one because if I recall correctly you can only sign players who have some Basque nationality in them and it would be a challenge to try and win the La Liga over Barca and Real Madrid and I believe you start with 15-22 million euros. Bayer Leverkusen starts with 4-5 million euros I think or Hoffenheim again I think they have 4-6 million euros, or Wolfsburg starts with 10-14 mil euros. Tottenham would be a fun one and they start with something ridiculous like 30-39 mil euros or Arsenal who starts with 30-38 mil euros. I don't know if you would do the Serie A but just in case I will include some teams. Napoli has a good squad and around 3-5 mil euros, Udinese a little bit weaker of a squad than Napoli and they have 3-4 mil euros to spend, Fiorentina has a great squad with 3-5 mil euros. Hopefully this was helpful.

Yeah Bilbao, Leverkusen and Wolfsburg are interesting ideas. I've a save with Tottenham. Won everything in 1st season, now both Supercup's.

I'll see :)

Cheers

Looking for a team in spain or german leagues that is its own national team also. Like san marino is in Italy.

I've chosen West Bromwich :) let's see what can I do. Hopefully I manage to stay in the same club longer than 2 years lol
