As the name suggests I have come back to the Football Manager games after a year or so off and I need some help getting back in to it. I guess the main thing I need is help choosing a good solid team to build a long save with. I would like a team who are in one the main leagues in Europe i.e England or Spain. They should have an decent budget i.e £10 Million and average facilities that can be upgraded. Thanks for your help in advance The Come Back Kid.

What do you think of sevilla.. you are the number 5 in spain. And you have a great squad. Around Januari and you are doing well. They will give a lott of budget to spent. I had 8 wonderfull years in sevilla. 4 times winnaar of the Liga en 3 Champ. winners.

I had a Sevilla save too highly recommend them, easy to get a high budget and build a team that can compete with Barca and Madrid

Anyone know what starting unemployed is like always fancied it but never tried it anyone?

Try Granada in Spain, had a lot of fun with those guys. Solid finances, couple of good players, but due to fact that few key players are on loans, team need rebuilding in second season...

i agree, i done a granada save and finnished 3rd in my first season then had to try rebuild my team which was pretty hard but a really good challenge.

Hey Guys I need a new team I've had many save but most i didn't get past a season the only save I've got farther then the 1st or 2nd season and that was my wolves save but I've won everything with them and looking for a new team in England just looking for recommendation on some fun English sides

Managing a big club is easy because no matter what you 'll always be among the favorites. Now, managing a smaller club with potential, that is interesting. I' m currently managing Wolfsburg in Bundesliga. That is a real challenge. My goal is eventually create a dynasty in Bundesliga where Bayern Munich rules, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke, Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart follow.

Played with Southampton, Everton and Sociedad till now, Sociedad the moust got in 1/8 finals of cl few times... but i always need a bit to grab some trophy, altrough i made rly good players like buy them for 2mil and then sell for 20... In Sociedad 2020 Carlos Fierro and Neal Muapay ( spelling ) could sell them together for over 50mil eur, but i can't win anything cause of f**** barca and real... so now i wanna take little stronger team.

Benfica, Porto, Dormund, Lyon, PSG, Ajax, Roma, Napoli, Celtics ??
Which one ?! :D

I'd pick Celtic, can win the SPL easily while developing young players (who can probably start in the first 11).

@Kezza96 Celtic was my first pick too :) Im sick of barca with ter stagen on Gk and Lewandowski in attack, and i even got ~15 points in 6-7 years vs them... :D Celtic it is :)

i am wanting like a team that is in a bit of a redevelopment phase and has a lot of older players that need replacing,

I'm looking for a team that is challenging for the title, but not necessarily the best team in the league. I'm hoping for a team in a fairly obscure country that has the potential to grow and be competitive in the Champions League.

I'm not to bothered about having a massive budget, as long as the team isn't in any financial trouble then that's cool.

I don't want to manage in England, Spain, Italy, France, Holland, Portugal, Scotland....

Hi all.

I'm currently on a save which has seen me get Salisbury from Blue Sq South to Premier League and unlock the Steam achievement of English Hero or whatever it's called. I left and moved to Man Utd, PSG, Porto, Dortmund and won trophies but going back to the English Hero achievement I decided I wanted to try other nations so I've picked Spain. I'm just wondering if any of you have any list of or any idea which lower league Spanish teams (Segunda Division B1-4) would be good to manage. I'd like a team with a decent sized stadium but also a decent youth setup to bring through young players (I understand they stadiums and youth setups aren't going to be great).

Thanks for your help in advance

Tenerife or Alaves could be fun saves...

Hi all,

I've been away from here for a while because i've been busy trying to complete my degree. But I'm back and I'm looking for a challenge to tie me over for the summer. This is what I've done so far:

3 season with QPR - Premier league x 2, Champions League x 2
Got Cambridge United to the Prem
Won World Cup 2022 with San Marino and world dominance with the club team.

I'm looking for something a bit different. I've got a tactic i feel is pretty unstoppable. Any ideas?

Cheers,
Sean

Don't know if you have the game through Steam but they have achievements and theres a Spanish hero, take over a team in the bottom division and get them to the top. Then move to France, Germany, Brazil and do it there. Sure you'll have no problem with a record like that with QPR. Would love to know your formation :D

Hi

I am looking for a team in Europe but not from England that I can build the club and maybe win the title with them in a couple of years but not in one of the big league so a team that would be a challenge

if any1 can help let me know

Thanks

Martyn

Napoli?

interesting challenge for anyone interested. I moved rangers and celtic into the premiership cleared debts and chose rangers. Obviously had to edit in some budget to buy a squad cpable of playing, this is where the challenege comes. Only sign British players for the quintessential british club challenge :)
