Looking for a club in Italy not playing in Europe but has a decent budget or good players I can sell, can be in Serie B too

I'm looking to take control of a club in which i can sell maybe a player or 2 for high value for whatever league they are in and build a better squad with the money. Any league, any country, any type of financial structure.

Thanks in advance.

Derby County, Will Hughes will sell for massive amounts after a few seasons

I really cant decide who to be :(

I want to be an okay team who I can lead to (eventual) European glory. I've done this with Swansea(Well, as far as I can take them for now. Time to take a break from that I feel) so not them.
I'd like them to have decent finances, or at least no debts(and not a club that's losing money). Pretty well known team with a decent squad but needs an improvement or two(as well as youngsters!) My primary target will be Maupay, but other players I'd love to be able to sign are Rodrigo and Isco/Thiago. The last three aren't as important, though. Any suggestions?

Thankyou :)

Again, thanks for the suggestions but as written in my post, I was looking for a team where the board has an unrealistic view, where they demand results despite the squad not being up for it.

I would sat Lyon, as I went there in the fourth season taking them over when they were twelfth, and immediately wanted a title challenge. Thought it was ridiculous at the time as Saint-etienne, PSG, and OM were all vastly better than them playing staff wise, but then I won the title by 16 points O.o

Looking to bring a team through the leagues, should I be...Chemnitzer FC (Germany) or Boavista (Portugal) or any other suggestions?

Going to be doing British challenge only signing British players.

looking for team that is just outside champions league to mid table with decent finances either through reasonable transfer budget or able to generate a large amount through player sales. Cheers!

looking for a well balanced squad in one of the top european leagues but only an average side with decent to poor finances and preferably a good youth system

Liverpool or maybe southampton?

I was thinking to start writing story, but I havent decided yet which team I will manage.
Benfica/Atletico Madrid/some championship or league one team?
Give me some suggestions... Thanks :)

I've just been playing a save with Nottingham Forest which was pretty fun to do. Decent, fairly young squad with a good transfer budget and good facilities. Predicted to finish 11th, I got them up through the play offs so there's definitely potential.
Another one I fancy doing soon is Brighton. Pretty decent squad with a great stadium. They've turned into a decent premier league teams on quite a few saves I've seen.

If you wanna do League One then I'd suggest Sheffield United? Do what Southampton did and restore them back to the Premier League in two seasons!

Thanks for the advice. I will consider that teams, it should be interesting :)

My points exactly. I am looking for a club, (perhaps outside of the UK as its those I dont know much about) where they are simply not up for the challenge ( like Leeds in Fm12 where the board wanting promotion and the team was acttaully more of relegation quality

Montpellier in Ligue 1! There board want european football but the squad is only capable of a mid-table finish... Very good challenge!!!

Looking for a team
Want to be either big in a small league (challenge in europe) or small in a big league (fight for the league), would look to play a false 9 tactic and possession, haven't tried a false 9 tactic yet. Any recommendations?

Benfica, Porto, Ajax or Swansea, Real Sociedad

Bored and need a challenge

I'm bored with my current Arsenal, Brentford and more recently Napoli saves (the first two going very well) and am looking for a challenging team to manage, but nothing impossible. I would prefer a team in Italy, England, Germany or Spain and I'm also considering Portugal and France. I find it boring if I can't buy anyone so want a team with at least a decent transfer budget (£7.5mil+). Any suggestions welcome guys, thanks :)

championship side with decent budget and chance of promotion?
