I doubt many people would have herd of Whitley Bay but they are a little town in the north east near Blyth. They are a level 9 club in The English Northern League Division 1. They are suprisingly the champions of the FA Vase from last year whic they won at Wembley. Pre season was pritty good to me.

Whitley Bay 1 - 4 Whitley Bay Reserves : Asamoah

Whitley Bay 1 - 2 Berwick : Ryan

Whitley Bay 4 - 0 Whithill Welfare : Clancy, Asamoah, Bell, Dowell

Whitley Bay 2 - 0 Eyemouth United : Kerr, Hotte

Whitley Bay 4 - 1 Gretna 2008 : Ryan 2, Bell, Kirby

Whitley Bay 0 - 1 Newtongrange

Felixstowe 0 - 0 Whitley Bay

Washington 3 - 2 Whitley Bay : Tait, Bell

Squad :
Micky Tait loaned from Blyth Spartans

i am currently in a game with guildford city and i am playing whitley bay in the FA Cup 3rd qualifying round

The Media prediction is that i finish 1st so i got alot of pressure on my shoulders with big teams involved in this league. My 1st league game will be at home to Billingham Town. I will update after 4 leagues. please leave a comment only if you wish though :)

With Whitley Bay doing ok in the league and started well in the Cup i will have to say it hasnt been a bad month. Screenhots of the goal scores are being put on below.

Good luck getting goals mate. Really tough at that level...

FA Cup - Reply - Whitley Bay 1 - 0 Kirkley&Pakefield : Robson

League - Whitley Bay 0 - 0 South Shields

League - Morpeth 1 - 1 Whitley Bay : Bell
Need to comment on this game as its is a derby game. There was almost guarentee to be trouble and it came. Two red cars for Whitley Bay and a penelty for Morpeth which they mist. Good game though but Whitley Bay should have won.

FA Cup 3rd quali - Bamber Bridge 3 - 1 Whitley Bay : Ryan

With Whitley Bay out of the FA Cup and two suspended defenders for the FA Vase draw next can only spell disaster. Update after played 4 games.

an interesting story, wouldnt have a go if you gave up on this, i just cant get into LLM saves for some reason, anyway good luck

i signed a player for maltby main called christian moore quite old but finishing of 14 !! wonder if he would go there tho probs will goodluck

Woah I feel sorry for Phil Bell.. He's real, and his stats are that bad!

Yes he is looking to leave in the summer and a couple of seasons ago he played for Blyth Spartans and did ok but they released him and ended up at Whitley. Update soon

September 2009 Part II

FA Vase - 2nd quali - Fisher 1 - 1 Whitley Bay : Tait

FA Vase - reply- Whitley Bay 2 - 1 Fisher : Ryan 2

League - Whitley Bay 1 - 1 Esh Winning : Bell

League - Spennymoore 2 - 0 Whitley Bay

With Whitley going through to the 1st round draw of the defending of their cup with victory over the biggest club in the competiton isnt bad. 1st defeat in league this season. Not doing great in league positioning ever.

well done, you already doing better than me in the FA Cup. I will follow this. don't stop!!!

FA Vase Round 1 - Whitley Bay 1 - 1 Hallam : Ryan

Reaaly quiet a boring game with the goals within the first 5 minutes. Phil Bell played poor but Leon Ryan didnt do to bad and got a goal. A tricky away tie for Whitley.

FA Vase Round 1 reply - Hallam 1 - 3 Whitley Bay : Bell, Douglas, OG

Quiet Suprised on the final result withWhitley's poor away form. Took the game under control after Dean Douglas's goal to make it 2-0. Whitley Bay now have Bideford in Round 2

Northern League D1 - Ashington 3 - 0 Whitley Bay

Worst preformance i have seen with the full squad starting. With Ashington high up the league, today's result will give them lots of confidence.

Northern League D1 - Horden CW 0 - 2 Whitley Bay : Kirby, Bell

Thats more like it. Evan though Horden are at the foot of the table a win was needed to retain the confidence still left in the squad. The Northumberland Senoir Cup has just been draw and i have been drawn against which isnt until March is at home to Bedlington.

Northern League D1 - West Auckland 0 - 0 Whitley Bay

Boring game with nothing happening at all. The game just flew by without any shots. Whitley Bay should have won but didnt perform on the day.

Northern League D1 - Consett 2 - 2 Whitley Bay ( Asamoah, Hodgson):

This was a good game with attivity through the full game. Penelty's , injuries made the game exciting. Whitley Bay will take this game today.

Northern League D1 - Chester-Le-Street 1 - 0 Whitley Bay

Had them held until that one chance they had and they scored upon it. Wasnt happy with the defence as the two centre backs playing with no confidence at all! Going to get better to stand any chance of promotion.

Northern League D1 - Whitley Bay 0 - 0 Norton&Stockton

Another poor game with no goals. I feel sorry for the players whotry week in week out but get nothing from it. Need to be start scoring goals and fast.

Update soon here screenshot of league to show you how BAD iam doing !

look for sam walker from havant & waterlooville.

Northern League D1 - Whitley Bay 0 - 0 Shildon

Ok game but still no home goals. At least iam not conceading many goals aswell. Whitley Bay had the better squad but they couldnt make anything from it.

Northern League D1 - Bedlington 2 - 1 Whitley Bay ( Ryan):

Whitley Bay were well and truley beaten by a better side. With a goal in the last minute didnt make any difference to my attitude to the squad. We Must Do Better to evan suvive.

FA Vase - 2nd Round - Whitley Bay 1 - 2 Bidefield ( Asamoah pen ):

What a game! 4 red cards, 3 goals and a penelty isnt bad for action is it. 3 of the cards where for Whitley Bay which reduced the squad to 8 men. But the bad part about this result is that Whitley Bay are out the Cup and will have to hand it over to another side this year.

Northern League D1 - Ryton 2 -1 Whitley Bay (Bell):

Whitley Bay will be really angry with themselves as both the Ryton goals came from own goals. Phil Bell did score an amazing 25 yard strike but that makes it 8 games in a row without a win. Something must be done in January.

Brooks Mileston Cup 2nd Rnd - Whitley Bay 4 - 3 North Shields( Bell 3, Amaning pen): AET

Whitley Bay go through to the quarter final as they beat North Shields after extra time. They only just go through after a 120 minute penelty by Kwabana Amaning steals it from the Shields. A Phil Bell hat trick helps aswell.

Northern League D1 - Bishop Auckland 1 - 2 Whitley Bay ( Kerr, Asamoah):

Whitley Bay finaly win in the league. Any side could have won but a late penelty helps Whitley Bay steal another close victory. Kerr scores his 1st senoir goal and another goal from the centre kick gives Whitley Bay 3 points.

Northern League D1 - Whiltey Bay 1 - 1 Tow Law ( Moore):

With Whitley Bay striker Leon Ryan out injured somebody needed to step up to take his place. So a striker who somebody advived me to sign Christian Moore got a easy goal from 2 yards gave us a lead but they got a goal back. Whitley Bay should have won though.

Northern League D1 - Billingham Town 2 - 1 Whitley Bay ( Moore):

With Moore scoring his second goal in two games but it wasnt enough to get a away win as Whitley Bay lose again. Whitley Bay do have there injuries and suspensions so they have been using the under 18's to fill out the empty spaces.

Well done. I don't live far from Whitley Bay. You might of heard of a place called West Monkseaton?
Well I live there.

Great that Whitley Bay won the Fa Vase in real life.
