Who likes rap, and if so, Who is your favourite rap artist and song?

The only I listen to right now is either Plan B's first album and Eminem..
Both are my total favourites
 
Eminem these days is just... depressing. He did a lot, not taking anything from him, but he has done it all. Now he has absolutely no ******* clue on what to do next. So he just does the same over and over again. I mean, 'Im not afraid', 'love the way you lie', really? All he does now is rapping the same flow in each and every single song, while you wait for the kick-*** chorus.

Yeah Marshall, we know your life sucked, we know you feel generally sad, but it's enough already.

By the way, mad propz for the guy who referred Eyedea. May his soul rest in peace.

Been on a big LCN binge of late, so disappointed that I can't go to the Heavy Metal Kings concerts anymore, friend can't get the time off :'(

Yeah me too mate, LCN could easily rule the Rap game nowadays, have you heard Slaine's 'A world with no skies' cd?

Ill Bill + Vinnie Paz, in my humble opinion, it doesn't get much better than that. Wish I had the chance to go, wouldn't surely pass it out. Sadly, we, the portuguese rap fans, don't get much treats. Fiddy cent, etc, etc, etc, not really good artists/groups. I seen MOP live, though, what a fckng show!

Sry for double-posting, but Aloe Blacc should deserve a mention too, his storytelling is unbelievable. His soul (as in music, not spirit, for the less clever) is also, obviously, good.

The original? Yeah I downloaded it when I heard him in an interview telling the fans to get it since he wouldn't be able to release that version thanks to sample snitching. Good album, will be interesting to hear the new version when it's out.

I agree on the Ill Bill and Vinnie Paz thing, it's pretty rare to get them here, but when they do things always seem to conspire against me getting to the concert; always a considerable distance away (never come further north than Manchester), can't find people who can go. I envy France/Switzerland/Netherlands, decent rap acts always seem to do their European tours through that area.

Ah mate if that, one of the greatest, duo came to Portugal i'd surely go. Even alone, promised myself i won't die without seeing Vinnie live.

Good point, I think I'll investigate ways of going on my own, only problem I can find at the moment is that there's no transport back home until after 4 or 5 am.
