Stars
Javier Hernandez - Could be a real gem
Yossi Benayoun - Will be a excellent squad player
Milan Jovanovic - Strong player with excellent technique
Michael Essien - If stays fit could win trophies almost single handidly
Steven Fletcher - Good finisher will end up Wolves top scorer
Steven Ireland - Villa could get more out of Ireland than City will out of Milner.
Flops
Fernando Torres - Looks like he has lost a yard and confidence due to injurys
Joe Cole - Looks a lost little boy and will spend more time in the treatment room
Mauro Boselli - Knees are made of Paper
Chris Smalling - Looked good for a while but wont make much impact this season
Henrique Hilario + Ross Turnbull - I hope we dont have to use them
Mario Balotelli - Excellent footballer but will loose his temper too much in the PremierLeague
James Milner - Could be the worse end of the deal

Bebe will definately flop in my opinion. Didn't Ferguson admit that he had never seen him play? Last time he said that was for Forlan, and he wasn't exactly great.

Those of you saying J Cole will flop, why? He has had a couple of average games but that is only because he is at his new club desperately eager to impress and looks as though he is just trying a bit too hard at the moment. It'll come.

thats my reasons and i have had more time to watch him over the years than most.

first impressions are everything. a red card and a missed penalty, wow.

He said bebe was the first player he had ever signed without watching him in any way so he must have seen forlan play. You may well be right about bebe flopping though.XD

Flops:
Joe cole.<)

Starz

Yaya Toure - A beast in midfield. Will be vital in City's top four push.
Michael Essien - Back fit and full of confidence, we all know what he can do
Christian Poulsen - Will become Liverpool's unsung hero doing the dirty work whilst others flourish
Kenwyne Jones - Delap long throw + Jones aeriel threat = danger
Dimitar Berbatov - Can see him coming good this season and will take some pressure off of Rooney
Obi Mikel - Looks to have been given more freedom in midfield with Essien coming back, cut out the silly mistakes and a very good player we will have
Ramires - Mini-Essien. Will run and run and run
Mikel Arteta - Class player, injury problems look to be behind him
Matt Derbyshire - Looked a natural goalscorer when at Blackburn, good to see him back in the Premier League
Nikola Kalinic - Leads the line well for Blackburn. Now with a years experience in the Premier League, he can only get better

Flopz

Yossi Benayoun - Can't see him getting a regular run in the side
James Milner - By the time next year comes around he will be the next Ireland, Bellamy etc
Chris Smalling - Will show why he was a non league player, 10M was a big gamble
Pablo Barrera - Too lightweight for the premier league
David Silva - I want him to do well and he's a class player but I don't think he will adapt
William Gallas - Fans won't like him, he won't like it, simplez

I think generally the whole man city side will flop apart from joe hart , Manchini fails in the basic rule of man management .... TOO MANY SUMMER SIGNINGS this will lead to too much competition for a position in the starting 11 as a result will cause arguments and low morale .
Also team chemistry will be low because they don't know each other well and wont communicate well because of the language barrier but this can be fixed in time (which manchini doesn't have a lot of).
Joe hart well continue too impress i think and maybe stop them slipping too far down the table and i think he will continue to get better and better and be a england superstar in the 2012 european cup.
To sum up then man city will finish 6th-8th and Manchini's job reign as manager will be questioned

How has no one said Marlon Harewood, he is looking really good in that Blackpool side and if they stay then it will be probably be a big part thanks to him.

Agree with that, when I saw MOTD last week and saw Harewood playing.. if he can stay fit, get good service he'll whack them in.

(Although as a gooner I hope he flops at the weekend!)
