Why does SI hate German players? (ex; Thomas Muller,Schweinsteiger)

Ya, instead of backing it up with one goal I backed it up with around 15 goals and numerous assists (in the video) and some facts. And my first 2 paragraphs were posted before I edited my post and add in the last paragraph and a video.

What am I still doing wrong?

What you're doing wrong is using Youtube as an example of a player's talent. Youtube clips can prove ANYTHING. Pour l'example:

Great player, non? Clinical finisher? Of course not. Even I, who love Heskey, wouldn't deny he's a terrible finisher. But the impression given from the video is completely different to the truth. I'm willing to listen to you, and in fact I agree with you mostly, but using youtube to justify raising a players attributes in FM is absolutely ridiculous.

THAT is what you're doing wrong.

Hopefully SI sort all this out when the full game releases, I always thought that Muller would be a player everyone would recommend in FM11 but it seems not

I've heard that the attributes are based on how good the player was some time ago ( don't know the exactly how long) but they will most likely be changed in the first patch. not sure I got this right though.

I read somewhere that the attributes were as of the end of last season. ( ie. not including the world cup or start to the season. ) They may be improved for the game release or at least the next patch

Dont watch alot of german football, but he does seem low. I've always felt Lahm is a tad underated in some departments

but probably you watch the champions league????
the were runner-ups
they won the domestic double
they were excellent in the world cup
and both muller and schweinsteiger were key players on those campaigns
so it is prety simple that they are totaly UNDERRATED


ps no harsh feelings but i think that most english players are (at least) slightly overrated

But, c'mon... At the end of the season it was clear that he was a great young player... Of course, the WC showed that he was even better (in my opinion probably the best player in attack in the moment) but even at the end of last season these attributes would sound ridiculous.
Also Lahm and Sweinsteiger are seriously underestimated in the game.

I have to agree that schweinsteiger ( I like to call him a "pig") was a key player for bayern like ribery and robben but muller wasn't the key player.Muller has improved a lot in a world cup but still I think his rating should be improved just a bit or lower english players ratings because they didn't performed well last season

Weren't there problems last year in the demo with some players being underrated, but when the game came out they were fine?

I'd be shocked if SI didn't at least up his stats in the first patch, if not the original release of the game.

Muller deserves to be better, no doubt about this..but if you try and analize every players they should modify the game completely
for example Villa at Barca : they should give him a Finish of 6 at how he missed the goals this season (6) (just kidding villa is a genios but he cant blend in )

Many people seem to be saying that the english players are overrated but i think that their opinions have been altered by germany beating us 4-1. The club form of english players such as cole, rooney, lampard etc. has been outstanding for seasons and that is why they are rated highly. Yes the german players should be rated higher but i think SI shouldn't just make a knee jerk decision to make them world class after an impressive finish to last season and the world cup. I mean theyve rediculously given forlan long shots 20 after scoring a couple of dodgy goals at the world cup!

I don't really rate Muller. However those are shocking stats, he deserves better than that, not -10 though.

everyone is going crazy about muller, but has anyone used him in fm11 yet,and seen how he plays? becuase if you want him changed the only way is to show that he deosnt play in the game like he does in real life, then take that to the reseachers

just looked at podolski 18 finishing and composure! Better than Rooney, Torres and Drogba! and hes apparently UNDERrated. R, T and D are clearly better finishers so why arent they higher? Torres scores more than evry other game fo liverpool so why doesnt he have finishing 18 19 or even 20?

because you have to look at the attributes as a whole. those three players have far superior attributes as a whole which makes them far better players in game

if podolski takes the ball in the box at the right time then he will definately score..he has scored many goals by taking the rebound just because he happened to be there
but torres and rooney can do a lot more than just that but podolski can't

as for the matter of english players overrated i think the biggest problem is not the world class players but players of mid-table clubs
