I've just gotten back into the game. I'm on Boulderfist server and name is Lokate. :-) anybody that plays on Boulderfist give me a private message!

Paladin's get the short end? Haven't they been consistently overpowered for last few years?

i've been ret since day one. even when there was no Crusader strike, when we auto-attacked and judged. it was tough, but i made it. then palas got improved, but not that much. an average priest can easily beat the best of the ret palas. so can druids, warlocks, mages. right before cataclysm, paladins were pretty decent. after the changes, paladins were awesome. 30k crits on ICC, but PVP capability was crushed. then they patched it, and paladins damage was substantially reduced, up to the point where i couldnt beat guildies of mine that i used to kill with my health not dropping under 80-70%.

Leveling has become far too easy. Faction change ****** up the real balance even further.

leveled to 34 now, leveling does seem quicker especially when you hit STV, all the quests are relaly nicely laid out, you basically go in a big loop. Ive gotten 10 levels in 3-4 hours questing. STV is also ofc great for mining and skinnig which are the profs i chose, plus mining gives xp, about the same as killing a mob.

Wasn't a fan of the new STV, was a lot of running backwards and forwards. Preferred the old one, except the Nesingway changes.

Tbh the cataclysm lvling zones are horrible... And now i am lvl 80 and cant pvp to lvl up cause i get pwned by the 84's -.- GAY

l2p

well, i've tried out the worgen character in Cata trial, and imo, didn't like it. Be trying out the Goblin at some point. So I've created a human DK which'll be tank, and gone back to lvlling warrior too. But yeah, levelled my DK to 61 in few hours. And I can't understand why people are complaining about the changes. Feels more polished, and there's some nice touches

Ive played wow for a few years and quit in April this year, my main was a Feral Druid (tank) though i prefered my Hunter, but trying to get in a raid as a Hunter, youd have more chance of ******** the Queen. I decided to take a break until Cataclysm but still havent gone back, doubt I ever will now. Im hooked on FM2011 to be honest and I can leave the computer on FM2011, as it wasnt possible in Wow in the middle of a raid. Im also finding myself a lot less stressed out, since quitting! Constant raiding and arguing and E-Drama, being let down by people not logging on, ive found I can do without

Badbunny - Thunderhorn Eu, Evolved Guild ftw

I'm more addicted to being on this site that WoW and FM 2011 lol

Horde BG queue times really, really suck! :( Thankfully will be farming arena soon for pieces.

Waiting over an hour on BG que on alliance, then gave up waiting. was ridiculous

When I was alliance every queue was practically instant, same for everyone I think. Must not be 85? :P

i was having stupid waiting times before cata came out. some people just stopped waiting for BGs altogether. Arathi was the biggest culprit

Just queue for random BG, if you're max level the queue is basically instant.

I really liked the worgen. Worgen themselves are cool cept the run, the starting zone is sexy as and the quests were unique and interesting. I tried 4 lvls of Goblin and hated it, you get a car mount to drive around in but found the controls too clunky, and there was too much driving around

I got server first Algalon kill playing my hunter, although I did have to pass on a **** with the queen to get it

The Tough Brets have formed on Draenor horde side if anyones interested in joining us, Lee and I are GM's

Tauren Paladins are the best!

i quit just before the raid after icecrown was released.

used to raid 11/12 icc25 and 12/12 icc10 on a weekly basis (best try on lk25 was 12%, so essentially 2%! :()

had a fury warrior and a resto druid

very tempted to buy cata but im not too sure, dunno if i can be arsed getting used to the changes.

and if i did start playing, whats the casual aspects of cata like? i played to raid and raid only throughout TBC and WOTLK but i wouldnt want to get engrossed in that again.

Ive never played a world of warcraft but im quite interested in getting into it what do i need to buy in terms of memberships etc.. ?

I tried to play World of Warcraft a while ago and could not for the life of me get into it. I genuinely gave it a good shot and it was... for lack of a better word, boring for me.

Even if I was into it, I wouldn't play it anyway, my computer is completely ****.

There are various trials available. Best to give those a serious go before purchasing anything.
