World of Warcraft Cataclysm

Thought I'd bump this. Since gettin the young un his World of Warcraft cata, it's safe to say I've started playing it again, and am now hammering away on my DK (now lvl 76). But for anyone else who is still playing, if you aren't aware yet a new expansion has been announced. I present to you (courtesy of Blizzard Entertainment)..................Ninja Pandas!!!!!

If anyones interested me, Lee and some others have started a horde guild on Aszune-EU called Prestige, it's level 9. So come join us if interested.

Probably a long shot but does anybody have A WoW account that was previously subscribed (at least 30 day game time) and would be willing to give it to me? Would be nice if it was before December 2009 and not associated with a battle.net account.
Blizzard are doing two pretty good offers at the moment which I would love to take part in. First being free Diablo 3 with a annual pass to WoW, second being free character boost to lvl 80 along with full digital upgrade to Cataclysm.
Now the first one I can do without needing an account and will probably do anyway's if nobody can help, but the second one I need a previously subscribed account which I don't have.
 
Used the website openraid.eu last weekend to pug a raid, the raid went well and the site seems awesome. It lets you arrange raids which are then categories by difficulty, whether you're doing achieves, ilvl req etc so its easy to find a raid. We got several signups pretty quickly and had a good 13-15 people for our 10 man and they all turned up. Also has features like quick raid if youre just looking to hop into a raid, a chat channel a bit like lfg and free vent servers for when youre raiding.

If anyones interested me, Lee and a couple of other people we know are doing the first tier of Cata raids on Friday and then Firelands on Saturday, both 10 man.

People still play this game? stopped playing like 6 months into Cata, the game is too casual now, and this new expansion looks shocking, I was worried it would make me return to the game, but luckily it looks ****.
Also the beta for Mists of Pandaria began last night?

Well we did all get together when you quit and discussed if it was worth playing the game without you and in the end 10 million stayed and 2-3 million left.
 
I've understood about 3 sentances in this entire thread. And that includes this post....
 
Well, I have to be honest. Been hammering the game past week or so-and it's definately extremely easy. Don't know if it's because I'm a DK or what, but I'm flying through it and made level 83 last night. Have to say though, even though it is easy-some of the new places are absolutely gorgeous to look at. Especially Deepholm-it just looks absolutely amazing. Thoroughly enjoying the questing around there. Problem is now spending more time looking around at the graphics than questing lol. Great fun though
 
Thought this may be worthy of a bump. Release date for Mists of Pandaria has been announced-25th September, which admittedly is sooner than I expected. Available for pre-purchase now, and with digital deluxe version you get a free winged mount too. More details here:

Think it caught everyone by surprise after reading the forums. Wonder if it's being released sooner because of GW2....not sure. Hopefully it's not being rushed out because of that. Though I doubt they'd release it if it was still bugged to ****-last thing they want is a bad rep for a bad job.

Only problem is deciding on the collecters edition or the digital delux version...Important thing is got my 85 ready and rearing to go. Roll on September........
 
I had no idea this many people played wow on fmbase, does this mean I can finally come out of the closet?

Feels good discussing Cata etc on here without seeing the word "Noob". Which is pretty much all I say in-game. Ironic lol

Whats to discuss about cata anymore its boring! I've been clearing Dragonsoul on heroic every wednesday for like 4 months, I need MOP!

I'm enjoying Cata tbh. Coming across some nifty quests and the metals are netting me a fortune (just under 30,000g in 7 days). And I'm still trying to get that dam Time Lost Proto Drake and Aenoxx. what's more upsetting though I came across Time Lost last week after nearly a month of camping.....then I get DCed. 'Twas painful :'(
