This is amazing, honestly FM has been boring the **** out of me lately, struggling to find a challenge that peaks my interest for more than a few hours but I think you nailed it. This will keep me entertained until fm12's released at which point i really hope you do a version for that!

Just loaded up, to make it harder im starting randomly in the world league 5. I got Leeds which i must admit i'm pleased with, but easier to enjoy if im not playing a team i've never heard of. £160k wage budget and spending £150k, no transfer budget and expect top half finish. Wish me luck :)

I will see your 4 promotions and raise to 4 championships in a row. Only just - I won and Wolfsburg lost on the final day of the season (finished with 11 wins in a row!)

i cant download it? i click the blue download button, and it obvs comes up with the 'save or open' window, but it wont work once ive downloaded it? (as in it wont open for me to save anywhere)

you dont open it just place the xml file in documents/sports interactive/football manager 2011/editor data and then start a new game.
 
will, is there some sort of money cheat that automatically happens? i started with nacional de madiera and had a 500k budget, suddenly in november i got given a 25 million budget and theres no sign of how this money came in the finances?

Finished my first year as manager of leeds, we gained promotion. Didn't win but we made it. We came 5th. Not aiming for back to back promotions like most on here I just want to spend the 2nd year improving the squad overall. I didnt have a transfer budget this season and my wage budget was all but used up so not able to do much on the transfer market to strengthen the squad.

The winners get 1 M euros
Whereas the runners up get 50 M euros??
Now I m thinking whether to win or lose.

That's weird mate I checked the editor data and it should be 10m appearance fee for both teams and 10m for the winning team.

I am about to play the final now.
I think I'll be fielding my second string side so that I lose and win 50 M
Rather than winning and earning only 1 M
