World's Greatest Ever Player

To be honest Larsson should be there I watched him in the flesh and he was sublime one of the best strikers to grace Scottish football. He then done the business at Manchester United and Barcelona he was good enough for them. SO deserves a place more than Messi or Ronaldo but Gordon Banks hes a ****** great keeper deserves to be on that list more than half the keepers these days.

From the list posted, I'll pick based on the players I have seen most of during my life time. Which rules out Pele and the other legends whom I have only seen in clips and reruns.

On that basis I would have to say Zidane. Although regardless of how many seasons he has been around Messi is the most talented player I have seen in my life time and the best in the world right now.

Best players in the 4 main areas based on what I have watched, and seen many times, plus for their consistancy I'd say these guys;

Best DF; Maldini
Best MF; Zidane

how does zidane have more votes than maradona. i can understand people not voting pele cus they never saw him but surely everyone has seen maradona goals.

I voted Larrsson because, well he was one of the worlds greatest strikers. Rivaldo because he is probably the best player i've ever actually watched, I am only 16 so I havn't seen any of the older players enough to vote. And Buffon because well he was and still is the greatest goalkeeper ever. I don't see why Messi and Kaka are on here.. I can understand Ronaldo but Messi and Kaka seems pointless. There's no Gerrard either? He is England's best player and I'm not just saying that as a bias Liverpool fan, I'm saying that as an England fan.
