Worst Injuries?

Bet he was happy if he played the game to see that in 2011 he'd have a heart attack

So you added a pack that would make injuries worse or more variation on them? prefer to not add that as I find the game hard enough without people dropping dead on me :D
 
Sean McGinty - "Serious Viral Infection". i'd never heard of it, but he was out for 9-10 months =/
 
My Loan Star, Dean Parrett broke his foot, out for 5 months (Which was the rest of the season) had to terminate his loan- Our season went downhill from when he left. Massive miss
 
Karl Henry - broken leg (lower), 6-7 months.
 
****** Aleksander Tunchev gets fit and has a blinder in the Championship. One week before our opening premier league game he ruptures his cruciate ligaments and is now out for 8-10 months. Sigh.
 
i had this guy on FM09 who was out for a seemingly long time with knee splinters oO)

Same, Adam Johnson picked up an SVI and was out for 13 months. Think it was on FM09 though :(
 
FM09 had the SVI bullshit, pretty sure they got rid of it because of all the fuss about it.

For me, in FM10 I had my Brazilian wonderkid (my first) go down at the start of the season with a knee injury, out 10 months.

He had just reached 19 pace and accel, and his stats were booming, by the time he got back he had 16 pace/accel! I still sold him for a cool 25 million.

I think my biggest injury on FM was 8months, i can't who it was as it was in FM08. In FM11, im Villa and Depth is already out for 6/7 months which is annoying, then Reo-Coker got injured for 4months. However the one that annoyed me the most was Kadlec he scored on his debut and then got injured out for 2months and im only in September 1st season!
 
All of my injuries to my squad are suddenly long term! I dont have the biggest squad at Walsall due to finances, 4 of them are out for between 3-5 months..
 
On FM11 so far the worst injury is a serious viral infection to one regen youngster. Weird bit was when I had to choose treatment for him. 'Send to specialist'- out for 8-9 monhs, cost 500, 'Send home' out for 7-8 months. Shouldn't sending to specialist be the quicker way?
 
Man City, 2 seasons in....

Tevez AND Bale both out with broken legs for 5-6 months! I keep having a vision of them both smashing into each other and breaking the other's leg as it happened in the same game!
 
10 games left in season & i just lost Kolo Toure for 9-10 Months thanks to a damaged cruciate Ligaments.

On a side note anyone ever had a player suffer from arthritis?
 
in fm 2010 it was fernando torres out for a whole year after contracting a virus, the puff.
in this game it was ramires out for 8-9 months cuz balotelli (who i had just gotten) broke his leg in training. not too surprising though
 
first game against chelsea..... JT puts Fabregas out for the season and then RVP gets injured for the season, needless to say my plans for the season just died right there

People like a challenge though, and it couldn't have happened to two more deserving players. Just a shame JT didn't twist his neck in the process.
