Premier Manager 96/97 for the MegaDrive David Beckham fractured his skull and was out for 2 years

Funny little game, always remember David May retiring mid-season to run a country farm

true, i was devastated when in the carling cup final JT didnt die when kicked in the head by diaby, all us gooners at the stadium thought he had died and was celebrating
 
Over 5-6 different saves broken legs/cruciate ligaments are the only ones i've seen over 6 months.

Best injury i've seen would be David Villa getting a cold and being out for a day.
 
My worst has been Wayne Rooney - Out for 15 months, caught cheating on the Mrs again, Serious stuff. ;)

the worst injury crisis i have had was with barcelona in the 3rd season. i had just bought Torres and in his fourth game he broke his lower leg (6-7 months). and then that broken leg decided to infect Messi and Iniesta too so i lost 3 very powerful players for 6-7 months and that almost lost me the liga bbva title..... almost :)

I remember I signed Robben for 40m, first game goes off injured but he was fine to play next match so I played him ... gets injured for 5 months :S

after than injury, first game 3 weeks
and after that injury, once again 3 months...

Javier Hernandez and my new striker I bought for 50 million are both out at the same time for 3-4 months 3 days before the season started due to training injuries. Not too long, but just fantastic what I needed. Guess it is good that I have 4 backup strikers, but not as good as them.
 
On FM10 I had a player who was out for 12-14 months with a virus, I never got a screenie of it though, wish I had now. Other than that its been about 6-8 months with hip injury i think it was.
 
Andy Van Der Meyde gets a few bad injuries, 3 months here, 6 months there. He's a complete waste of time.
 
I started as Spurs manager, managed to get Pavlyuchenko out on a loan, first game for them, the gets a fractured skull. (14 months) they still paying his wages :-)
 
Ive had a few 1-2 months, worst ive ever had inflicted is in my current game, Francisco Alcacer out for 4 months with a broken foot

Only thing u had to celebrate that day if I remember...

I had Mbia out for a year with the serious viral infection in FM2010.
FM2011 is not the length of the injuries but the recurring sports hernia which keeps 10 players out a season for a month at a time...

Signed Tommy Mooney got injured 8 minutes in to his first game. Broken Hip, out for 5 months.
