Worst Injuries?

Regen Carlos Blanco, signed for 20m to replace the ageing Flamini as a ball winning, workhorse midfielder, two games in and out for 6 months. Not too bad really given that Flamini's stats have shot up despite his age, while Blanco's have been slumping - it'll probably take him half a season's training before he starts challenging for that spot again. And by then I'll probably have signed half a dozen new, young Brazilian's to do the job.

David Cotteril for swansea 9 assists in 5 games at start of season 3 months out, i was so happy.

Napoli, Morgan de Sanctis (GK) out for 4 months.
This happened just after I sold off his 37-year-old replacement. Didn't think I'd be needing him.

Never had it, but surely arthritis is the worse in the game? Affects wise, maybe not length.

Jimmy Kamghain, Paris Saint-Germain. I have seen injuries that last a year or so, but this youngster, at 18, is going to have the start to his football career severely hampered. He's out between 19-20 months. That's almost two years.

utaka broke his leg for 7 months after the first championship game in my portsmouth save. He was my best striker but due to his high wages, i was planning on selling him in january. had to let him go on a free transfer at the end of the season:(
