I tried the W4ANKER version for half the season, and so far I'm really enjoying it.

I'm not sure if it's the new patch or just my team but my strikers now can't find the net. They hit the post a lot. There is always an offside goal(or two) every game which results in the team becoming frustrated a lot.

I notice now the opposition close down and tackle a lot harder in the centre so almost every game the midfield two gets overrun.

And the opposition defence makes wonder last ditch tackles far too often. This includes goal line clearances.

Overall it makes for a much more unreliable and uncontrollable experience compared to before(which is saying something)!

I think this is more the patch though. Good thing is I still can score from corners.

I think since the update even though it says doesnt effect match engine

has made the away tactic not effective at all

It does help, but it ends up usually with me shipping goals. Last season with the old 14.2 patch no team convincingly beat me, this season I have been thrashed once or twice.

I actually find the opposite, the away tactic works well, but only when the team attacks you. If you come up against a team with no technique, who play long/direct football and sit deep (like West Ham for instance) you may have to change the instructions of the away tactic to push further up, or just keep a normal defensive line.

But overall the main problem is squandering chances and getting tackled ridiculously hard in the centre of the pitch.
 
Tactics works same for me guys. Don't see any difference after last update ...

HAHAH yes.. my united save is kinda boring.. cus my team is only getting stronger every season from now, since the wonderkids ive got.

Just started with liverpool and it seems to be going amazing...The CF (sturridge) (suarez when hes avaible) is scoring like ****.
 
No offense but i rly dont get why ppl wanna play with corner bugs, if u wanna win with cheat, you could might as well just retsart every match until you win it. Not my kind of tactic, sry mate :)
