Hernandez has scored 10 league goals in 17 starts and that too in a season where it was too much stop start for him and after relegated to third choice by Welbeck (which meant he never got proper run in or continuous starts). How can he be most disappointing player?

Presumably people expected more of him, so when he didn't perform to their expectations, it was a disappointment​.

I think that the face he has fallen behind the Welbeck and not played as much as he did last season shows some disappointment. Obviously the manager feels he doesn't merit as many starts this season so there must be a reason for that.

Welbeck is a much more rounded player, a worse finisher, but he has more to his game. And Hernandez has been disrupted by injury. Thats the reasoning there.

They were worried when he got that concussion, he has some small underlying neurological issues from long before, so they've taken care on that this season.
