Hi so basically this is a thread where you post your experiences of meeting footballers or famous people

I apolagise if there is another thread like this one.

I personally today was playing football at the local park and when I bwas waliking out who else but one of my fav footballers Matt Bailey (was at Northwich now at Eastwood, You know MOTM against charlton where we won 1-0 in the fa cup and then scored v lincoln) walked past meand my mate had previously been jokin around sayin he was best player ever and screaming matt bailey randomly in lessons so we were both speechless (H) so then i gt a pic taken with him by the way this is a big honour as it is in Haslington and i support Northwich. <)
 
I was in Newcastle a couple of years a go when I saw Shay Given in his car. I waved and he waved back. :p I also saw Steven Taylor not long after, but he was looking at the road. XD I have also met most Cambridge United player's, Neil Andrews from Histon and I know Sam Ives who is at Cambridge at the moment. :)
 
I had tickets to Liverpool v Southampton a few years ago. I got tickets into the players lounge. I got Milan Baros' autograph and then he walked off with my pen lol. He STOLE MY PEN!!!!!! :p
 
oh no not your pen well matt bailey nearly walked off with my football until his mate said give im his footy back.
he also asked me if he thought he cud wack the ball at car 30 yrds away lol
 
I met Dan Gosling and Tim Cahill outside a Birmingham hotel yesterday when I went to watch us play Birmingham. All the other players blanked us. :(

And then a few years back I met David Moyes, Victor Anichebe and James Vaughan when we were asked to go to Goodison for a 'press conference' with the players. :)
 
I met Emre Belozoglu the day he signed for Newcastle in the airport. Recognised him straight away, got his autograph, although it was hard to communicate, as he only spoke Italian....
 
yeah my cousin met cahill so he must be fan friendly but seriously how tight is it for players to snub you even though you worship them
 
Well, to be fair, there was a person who obviously went round the country and collected autographs because he was around 35 years old and had a book full of match attax or something along those lines. XD

We got talking and he said there were some people who disrupted the players when they were having a meal and the players were instructed not to give too many autographs/pictures out.

As we were getting Cahill's photo, my PE teacher came and scared Donovan and Howard away. :/

quite a few, the funniest was seeing papa bouba diop in a casino. he is massive.

I met Liam Ridgewell, Marcus Bent, Lee Carsley and Stuart Parnaby in St. Andrews car park last year.

Not me but immense, My Aunt's brother met Mikel Arteta in morrisons XD
 
Former Pompey player Todorov (the striker) came to my 9th birthday party as I had it in the community part of the stadium or something like that, got to see all the changing rooms, trophy rooms (i was quite surprised to see a few in there from ages ago), and any Pompey player came to the room for like 5 minutes to meet you, I think it was random as my mate got Hayden Fox for his lol.
 
Stanley Gene was my football match today,his son was playing against us(H) Jesus he's big:O
 
Moritz Volz at Fulham Broadway tube station, not the greatest player but played his heart out for the club :'(
 
eboue was in my local corner shop said hello and kolo toure used to own a nail shop near my house before he moved to man city
