More leagues, and fewer custom selected database types, or the reverse? I ask because I keep getting low game speeds, but maxed out computer performance ranks, and it is CRAWLING to get through a day or two. Is the database just for loading real players, and everything else would be regens?

I do that already! I'm probably one of the younger managers ever, although, I do start in lower leagues, with "sunday league player" as my experience, so it might not be wholly unrealistic

So, I'm starting to think i shouldn't even read my assistant's scouting report, because in every game i ever play, he says "Think it's gonna be a 4-4-2, Boss." And I go and look for my latest game, v. Bayern Munchen, and they've started a 4-4-2 a whopping single time! Great intel there.

Eh, that doesnt particularly concern me. I have plenty of young players I can start with. Those that can't get trained in a secondary position (and aren't utterly ridiculously good) can get culled.
