Meet Athletic Club Nice. A club formed by the people of Nice in France with one major goal in mind. See the Domestic game of France be respected as the BEST in the WORLD. Apple and Samsung are investors in this project for AC Nice as they feel there is incredible potential for not only the club, but the French leagues as well. Apple has a vision of helping take clubs from the lower divisions of football to the very top while documenting it every step of the way. Therefore, Athletic Club Nice has an Individual TV deal with Apple TV, while Samsung gets not only the Kit Sponsor but also the naming rights of the Stadium which is Le Samsung Stade De Nice.
The club's one major rule is it wants their managers to sign solely from the Domestic Leagues of France. This means that players can only be signed from the French 4th tier, National, Ligue 2, and Ligue 1. Why does the club want to do this you may ask? The top French League is constantly referred to as a "Farmers League", so this project that AC Nice is wanting to undertake is about a whole lot more than just becoming the best of France. They want to put the French Leagues on the map as a real destination players want to go and to make sure the Leagues have the respect they deserve. This doesn't mean you can only sign players that are French from the French Leagues only, even though having French players will be a focus of theirs, this means if you want to sign any player of any nationality you can AS LONG AS THEY ARE FROM A FRENCH CLUB. So, if you find the next Neymar at Nantes, he is available. If you find the next Messi though and he is at River Plate, OFF-LIMITS.
So, what is your goal of this save? Take Athletic Club Nice to the Top of the French game as well as make Ligue 1 the #1 League in the World. Who knows, you may just have Ligue 2 become a Top 20 League as well!
Info for the save:
You are a Professional side in the National Division of France.
You have one of the best sides in the National Division but are not expected to finish top. You do have the finances to make that possible though.
Your entire team almost is only on a 1-year contract, so choose wisely who you intend to let go on frees and who you sell as it could impact how long it takes you to reach Ligue 1.
A majority of your staff is also on 1-year contracts and even though you have the best in the National it could be very different come season 2.
Last little bit, there is no way to strictly enforce only being able to sign players from the French Leagues as that is REQUIRED for this save, after all that is what makes AC Nice what they are. So please adhere to that.
