2014 World Cup thread

For those who don't know,Brazilian football is falling apart.
First the Brazilian Football Confederation(CBF),is like FIFA,they don't care about football, they care about the money,so basically how controls the Brazilian Football it's a popular media, GLOBO,and they don't care about football either, they care about Brazilian squad,Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
All clubs have massive debts, the young squads are poorly worked,I can keep going but I don't wanna make this post too long, but this ridiculous score is the reflection of the Brazilian football nowadays.
dont nike own the brazil team

The scary part is that this is nowhere near what he is capable off on his day ... Excellent player

Yeap looks like we will next season have more players who fit with him better so we might see " real " Özil.

Expecting the Argentinians to hold a shirt up and wear baseball caps for Angel Di Maria tonight

What is his stats compared to the other German midfielders? Surely he can't be the best out of them.

More chances created and key passes than Kroos who takes most of their set pieces. Pass completion slightly lower and total forward passes about half of Kroos's, but this all playing out of position out wide.

I'm kind of surprised with very high line and agressive pressing by the Dutch. Argentina aren't Spain, they can counter.

This ones a complete chess match compared to last night.

Now this is the kind of World Cup game I'm expecting, not the crazy **** last night. Robben 6 touches whole first half after I put a fiver on him scoring 2 goals or more, wonderful.

His defensive contribution has been next to nothing. He is playing very statically and not moving towards the ball, thus players intercepting passes to him. He should be doing much better than he is. Ozil is a superstar who has had a bad year, similarly to messi just worse. This may just be my opinion though.

****** FIFA guidelines about yellow cards ruining another game. The bookings are in the rules for a reason, if you try to artificially limit them, players will start abusing it instantly. How is this game supposed to open up when every 2nd action is stopped with a foul.

I must be watching a different game, I've not seen any pressing from Holland.
