this tactic don't work for me :(

I'm sorry to hear that :( What team are you playing as ? Perhaps the player available to you aren't suited to it, it's unfortunate but it happens I'm afraid :/

Hey Guru how do you design your training?

I went for a balanced approach, 1 week of offensive training, 1 week of defensive, 1 week of physical, 1 week of technical & repeat.

Good work on getting this tactics out .made some changes to TI and got hull right up there are the top .GOOD JOB

Nice ! :D What TI did you change btw ?

I had a go with this in friendlies and got good results. The problem i have is that i don't have many DM's so having to use CM's in the Volante roles. Do you think moving the 2 Volante's to CM and having them as box to box midfielders would work? I would have tried but i've ran out of friendlies as the season has started and i'd disabled first transfer window so couldn't buy anyone

I agree with TopHill, most of the Volante I'm using aren't suited for the position/role if you listen to the game. I've had great success as Tottenham by playing Eriksen & Alli on these roles :p You just need players that are decent defensively & have nice work rate, ****, I even play Firmino in Volante and it works XD Positioning & the role rating in game are just informative tool, not rules ^^

For everyone having issues with the tactic not providing great results for them, I'm truly sorry :( I still think with 8 to 11 suited players for this formation it can accomplish great things, but it would be foolish to assume that it can work as a plug & play for every team in the game. Give it one or two mercatos (You don't have to play this tactic in the meantime, if it doesn't work & you still wanna use it, don't sacrifice your season for it ^^) & with decent players (mostly for the volante & wingbacks) it should get much better.

Also, quick note : there is no "new patch", this tactic was made on the latest version of the game ^^

I think you may have actually broke the game? I haven't conceded in 17 games as Newcastle and won every single one too, 17 & counting. I feel happy and sad at the same time.

Oh ya, going 424 route will definitely get you more goals xD I don't think it could work that well with lesser teams tho, I'll need to give it a go :)

feels like i cant lose now just wont stop winning lol by winning i mean smashing opposition

ya, after some test, your 424 is doing better with strong sides but worse with lower level teams, as to be expected going from 433 to 424 :p

great tweak !

Been playing this tactic with Club Brugge, very good results after some months of adjusting and retraining players.
In January now on my second seasons and haven't lost a game in the league, only lost once in the CL groups to PSG away.
If only I had a striker that could net all the 1-on-1's he's getting, it would be even better.

Thanks for the tactic, I'm just wondering if you play a bigger opposition away, do you change the mentality ever?

I'm having an interesting time with this tactic. We're not playing fantastically at all (I'm West Ham) but i can see potential in the tactic. We're struggling for goals mainly. I'll keep playing and see where I get to with it later.

im newcastle and ivbe moved both wingers a step and moved line of engagement to higher having some good results

As I had Mayor problems with bvb I saved the game right before the game day and did everything 100% the Same (same Squad, same tactic...) Top see how random the game is. Resultate against Frankfurt. 7 wins (4:1, 1:0,....) 1 Draw 0:0 and 2 losts gut one was strange. Lost 1:6 without red card or anything.
So for me: tactic does not matter at all. The results are complete random

I was doing the same with many tactics, was replaying one game 10 times and the results went sometimes from wining 7-0 to losing 5-2, 5-0, 3-0, to winning again 5-1. It is random.

Another interesting discovery about this tactic, is that you can win games against bigger teams if you switch to 'defensive' playing style. You won't struggle to attack but your defending will solidify. I beat Man Utd 3-0 and Man City 2-0 back to back with West Ham

can you switch to inside forwards instead of wingers?

Works extremely well, the best one I've tried yet I would say

You can, but it defeats the purpose. Also, wingers go cut inside if you but the left footed on the right, so there's no real point in going IF.
