Pretty much only 1 game a week from now on so our starting 11 will be very settled from now drawing inspiration from Leicester and our defeats while rotating the squad last year

If we shut down in the league game we sure did not in the cup. 3 goals clear at half time Klein got involved with two second half strikes for our biggest win of the season

Another double from Klein the goal machine. Frizzell starting to look like a starting player scored too while Nathan Austin only scored a consolation

Injurys caught up with us and we stagger into the international break with whats left of our squad. One player coming back was Jota who joined the strikers Klein of course and Ronningen on the score sheet. Hamilton have shown sparkles of life and with Levein they have a shot of getting out of the play off spot.

Celtic power through March like ourselves with 3 wins. Rangers draw 2 and loose 1 and are out of the title race and should be looking at Europa League football next year.Dundee & Partick have long since secured a top 6 place while Hibs will need to match Hearts to guarantee the final spot as a Hearts win will see them jump a Hibs draw on goal difference. Ross County 11 points behind, 14 points all year will be down soon. Hamilton have at least a chance of catching up with Raith and Inverness CT

The Polish make an abysmal start to the group loosing to Iceland and things did not get better' Leigh Griffiths got the opening goal early on but it was not long before Millik had Poland level and heading towards half time we had a fight on our hands. With that Robert Snodgrass put us ahead right before half time and Griffiths struck a penalty with 20 minutes to go to secure a winning start.

England win there opening games, Just! Poland however are rock bottom with 2 defeats and -5GD. For us our June double header is both games with Iceland. Could be huge in the race for 2nd spot.

For some reason there was a weeks break in the middle of April. Perhaps i should not complain based on my form before and after sed break

There is only one picture you need from this game that will tell you it all. The times of the goals. During the gaps between the goals im pretty sure my heart was sinking so fast that it probably didnt beat.

This was a sad day even with the result. Only 15,424 fans came out to watch a side chasing there first title in over 30 years. When we needed them most they didnt show. Hibs to be fair weer worth there point.

Hampden had been good to us in the last 18 months and we manage to beat a self abusing Celtic to reach our 4th domestic final in a row. The match was always going to be a battle with the league possibly on the line at Pittodrie in 4 days time. Scott Brown did the most Scott Brown of things and got sent off after 39 minutes handing us the game. De Preville had already dragged Sanko to shreds before opening the scoring right on half time. the second half onslaught never materialised but with 10 minutes to go Jota did what Griffiths did not and scored a penalty to give us a return trip to Hampden to defend our trophy on the 1st of June


Hibs beat Rangers to secure a 3rd season in a row where the old firm will win no domestic cup trophys

Gap is 5 points, basically 6 with our goal difference advantage.That could all change at the start of May when we play Celtic. Rangers are more threatened by Dundee in 4th than worrying us at the top but are not quite out of things yet. Hearts did sneak past Hibs into the top 6 and Hamilton close on Raith who were once on the verge of top 6 are now struggling to keep a resurgent Hamilton and the play offs at arms length.

In a similarish position in my 3rd season but only able to possibly win the League and Scottish Cup this season though as Partick knocked us out in the Betfred lol, hopefully we can both see it through and become league champions good luck bud

Logan and Shinnie riping it up with you too. I miss Shay. Knew it was a bad move when i did it.
 
Yeah they are its just my striker area that is hit and miss, but I've got a good regen called Angus Skully who will hopefully take over that position as May, Rooney & Storey lack constituency and often pick up 6.4 ratings pmsl
 



End of Season Part 1


First 3 games. We win them all and we'll win the league and get to play some youth for the last few games
But we're Aberdeen. League title challenges does not quite go like that

The sweetest of revenge for the Parkhead side. victory has them right back in the title race. Were poor again especially in the final third

If ever there was a banker here it was! 6 minutes in and we were a goal up through Frizzell and you would expect nothing else but a comfortable win. However as every Dons story seems to go 2 minutes late David Amoo scored the final goal of the day as we slumped to our 3rd home game in a row without a win. At the same time Celtic were mounting an amazing comeback against Dundee to tie us at the top.

Here we go this is the game we have got to turn it around and in the first half the guys did everything possible to ensure we failed again. Ryan Jack getting sent of after 18 minutes was just what we needed. he could have asked to get the rest of the season off rather than costing us this match. Then my least favorite reliable player Emir Dilaver scalded me for not selling him as he and i wished in January scored a o'g to put Dundee ahead. Would we have come back? we'll never know but i messed around with tactics too much and never looked like scoring so Andrew Shinnie's 88th minute goal was insult to the injury my team has put on me




1 point! Our previous worst return from 3 games all season was 4. This is sicking

We've been top for 15 games until Celtic beat Rangers 2-0 to send them 3 points clear with 2 games to go. We cant be caught for 2nd but having led comfortably for the 2nd season in a row we can not let this go wrong again!

yeah I realised that as soon as I went back and checked the posts then re-read your comment again haha
 
on my Aberdeen save Rangers won me the league by beating Celtic 5-0 at Ibrox and letting us get the draw we needed while we did our bit winning 2-1 at Tannadice lol

Going into the last 2 games so many thought about what to do if we didnt win the title. No that i've took us to the title hopefully i can convince these young guys to sign on and take our team to the next level!
