These would be the best regens i've been involved with the exception of Conrad, strachan and Lukovic who regularly appear on these pages

Finally our first goals and points and it couldnt have come at a better time as we beat the evil scousers

Put out a strong team to make sure we progressed so this is now the best we've done in this compition

A convincing win against our closest rivals, a perfect warm up to the Liverpool game

October month review - Our first 100% month and therefore our best month of the season so far. The win against Liverpool being the highlight. Very happy about getting through to the quarter finals of the super cup and still 100% in the leauge too

Player of the month - Strachan
He did it again! Strachan took over as the main striker in Conrads absence and again scored for fun throughout the month and got the 2 best goals of the month

I'm having the same trouble at Glenrothes - not off topic - I'm using the same edited leagues as you - I sign good players then they never sign a new contract, I've had Jeremy Helan on rolling contract for 2months!! No teams offered a contract and there are team taking it to a tribunal. lol.

Anyways mate great story, Aberdeen SPL1 Champs, Europa League winners - change is good eh - keep it up
 
Thanks guys. It is quite frustrating but im thinking that during january i might go nuts and try find some top quality players bed them in this season and really go for europe next season rather than trying to get somewhere with youths.

I've had an eye on your story Gazamataz, Well done in getting to the SPL so fast nice concept, if only it was real, Who know Rupert Murdoch might loose the plot!

A close match where we got a bit of help from former rangers defender Danny wilson getting a red card and Lukovic scoring the equalising penalty with just 5 minutes left. THe group however has a tricky look to it with mentalists at the top 4 points ahead of us and were level bottom with St-Etienne so will have to beat both of these teams to qualify

Starting to get a settled team now and the results are reflecting that as we ease to our 9th leauge win out of 9

Dissapointing to finally drop points especially becasue its at home

Had to win this game but just couldnt get the winning goal and that leaves us 3 points behind liverpool and match 6 against St Etienne will be to try and secure a Europa Leauge place

November month review - Not alot of action but stale kind of month Our demise in the champions leauge happend on match 1 and 2 results since then have been as goo as i could expect. Leauge won one drew one and still looking strong there

A dissapointing result spells an end to our champions leauge adventure. Liverpool won anyway so we were consinged to 3rd. We clearly lost the group due to only taking 3 points off st etienne and Mentalists

As we met for the second time in two weeks this time we were unlucky, was heading for a win when rangers got a late o'g in there favour to nab a point

Somehow we just couldnt score today despite piling on the pressure for 90 mins

Another dissapointing performance but at least we won this time

Strachan was back in the team today and his inclusion made all the difference

December month review - Domestically a near perfect month, Slip up against hibs being the only black mark. In Europe we've drawn Spurs in the Europa Leauge so it will be tricky to progress there in the new year where first and formost new signing will be my target

Another win but not happy how were gaining those wins havent looked convincing at all

January month review - We went the whole month with many games but at no point looked convincing. Might just take a while for the new signing to click with the rest of the team. Shouldnt really complain as we are still unbeaten in scotland

Player of the month - Chernovetskyi A terrible signing in terms of writing his name over and over again but his frequency in his first month has been impressive. A good sign tha he wil prove to be worth his £11m

Players coming in are to generally add depth and quality to the squad after our poor form in Europe. De Silvestri and Hoarau are both well recognised in the european game and available at a cheep price so we have brought them in to add to the squad. Chernovetskyi Was my hand picked replacement for Georgiev who had been upsetting the squad after demanding a move. The final three signings Maly, Lukic and Vitorino were all signed up as cheep youngsters for the future hopfully. Other big outgoing player twardzik wasnt signing a new contract and wasnt scoring enough so was glad to get almost £7m for him

Q How do you think the season has gone so far
A Europe has to be a failure we didnt get to the last 16 and its my fault for weakning the squad too much but im trying to make amends by building our strongest squad. In scotland we cant have asked for any more still unbeaten at the start of febuary is an amazing achievemnet.

Q You have spend big. Why now?
A In the last few months of the season i hope we can win the leauge and hopefully push on in europe but the idea behind this is the team will be more settled at the start of next season

Q Hw do you expect the Europa Leauge to go?
A Hard to say i think we can ive Spurs enough problems to beat them but at the same time they might hae a bit to much for this aberdeen team.

Q Finally can we do the treble
A If everyone keeps there form and commitment we can possibly stay unbeaten in scotland ALL SEASON

Dissapointing performance and we deserved to go out. 7 Games left in the leauge to gel this team together for next year whilst defending out title

A great performance by our new strikforce and we got a huge and convincing win

Febuary month review - Our worst month of the season as we flopped against Partich while falling out of Europe as well. Still unbeaten in the leauge being the only plus point

Another win for the kids although we were behind for a long period of the game

Surprisingly the back up team got 3 wins from 3 with just celtic to play this season

A perfect end to a near perfect season. Came from 2-0 down and a man down to fight back and win the final game

March/April/ May months review - Due to lack of games just put all these games together. A very successfull period where we had a 100% record even with playing youngsters for 3 games.

Leauge title number 3 was by far the easyest although we faulted over the other compitions. Early in the season i notice the squad was struggling over all compitions so had too had to strengthen asap as the champions leauge was a lost cause so decided january was my time to buy in some better more experianced players and get rid of some of the youth who havent impressed or progressed as i'd expected

This was a big step back as we went from a squad who could mix it with Barcelona to a team who were incapable of scoring so wrote europe off almost instantly

1st - Lukovic - Scored for fun through the season and was our top rated player again.

2nd = Hoarau / Chernovetskyi - Both players came in during January and made a huge impact and i think next season they will have a huge impact on football

July 2016 was another quiet transfer window after the big spending back in January we topped up the team with some of quality youth players. See no reason for replacing anyone in hte first team at the moment at least until some of these youngsters improve a little bit more. Despite getting a little bit ritcher stil no advances in improving the stadium, or getting a new one

- Despite trying to cut back it became impossible to stay as competative as i was and with no sign of the board helping me out i decided i had to spend to try and get back to being good enough to get through the Champions leauge group

- Just youth in and youth out really having settled on the first team back in january

Scottish cup - Win
Europe - last 16

Same as last season with the targets. Going for the treble and getting through the champions leauge group if its favourable too. Hopfully we can get to the last 8 or better.

Q - Fans are of the belief that Aberdeen are in the best condition in there history to go out and achieve there most successfull season ever with a favourable balance between youth players and a few more experianced hands on board. How do you feel?
A - Last january i put together a squad i believed could do some damage in the champions leauge this season and a team that could achieve the domestic trebel. I am very hopfully we can do this.
Q - How has the clubs finances taken a turn for the better since you can suddenly buy better players
A - The players we brought in were far from cheep, But thanks to a constant stream of yongsters coming in and making us a profit we were able to buy some more experianced players that will help us get to the promised land.

Q - Is there any more additions to the squad before the end of august?
A - If the right player comes up i will do my utmost to sign him but as we stand im happy with who and what we have.

Q - Do you think the Old firm will Put up a harder fight for your title this term?
A - I dont believe so as neither have improved there squad much so i think we'll still be top dogs in scotland

August month review - Was making a great start in the leauge till we came up against the mighty Hamilton and ended our unbeated run. Super cup has been up and down but were equal top in the group and should be safe enough there

A slightly dissapointing score after an amazing first half performance where we were unlucky not ot take a lead


September month review - Dissapointing to get demolished by Palmero but the rest of the month went pretty much to plan. Drawing at parkhead isnt too bad a result, and couldnt really expect to get a result from the nou camp. On the plus side we got through the super cup with out any problems as expected
