2nd year, i made some recruitment with around 30m budget with 48 months installment and alot of loan signing. BOMB! CL qualification and only 5 points behind MU. won the EFL, FA as well.

I came out a method on myself after a 3 years save who play small team among the elite. (only applicable with IR)
If youre underdog playing against very big club / tough away game that you think you have very little chance to win, i would suggest going with the Attacking version, if youre lucky, you could get a draw or even a win from it, you would mostly lose/draw with the Balanced version.
I use the balanced version in all home game, and 90% it came out a win, sometimes a draw.

So this happened...

Drew Arsenal in the cup during the first season at Leeds, so I knew I was going straight out.

Turned up on the day, they fielded a very strong team, 100% sure I was going out.

Ended up 4-0 up after 25 mins, what is going on.. This tactic is crazy good!
 
So Balanced version had me start the season really strong, but home to smaller teams seems to be a problem now, any solution? even switching to attacking doesn't break them downView attachment 99585

id rather have a 160ca striker with 70% complete foward rating than a 90ca striker with 100% CF rating. thehigher the CA. the better the player, pretty obvious

It's hard to say so. You want both to be in place. What I do is, search for players suited to the roles I employ on the pitch. Say I'm searching for a winger and I get these as a result

They all are absolutely world-class as a winger, but who to sign now? If I was ManU, Barca or Bayern I probably would go for Anthony Martial (ManU probably wouldn't). If i wanted class but I'm low on wages I'd go for Abdelhak Nouri, Iuri Medeiros or Gelson Martins. Basically you search for a role but take the highest CA/PA or the best mix of them.

That may be true mate, but you are comparing a player from Dansk division two with a regular champions league performer. Easy choice
