I like players more than teams but I do have a soft spot for the Oilers. I play more ice hockey on the xbox than professionals do in real life! lol

SUMMARY

This month was very tough but we came through it unscathed and still unbeaten. At the start of the month Ruffier and my defence gave nothing away and at the end they did but our attackers started finding their feet.

This year it will be much harder to win the league as Barca and Real havent really dipped yet and we are overdue a dodgy spell. We should play Real in the cup so if we lose that might give us a slight advantage in the hectic month that is January!

SUMMARY

So 2013 is now over and what a memorable year it has been for Bilbao!!! The final month was fairly successful even if we did get knocked out of the Copa del Rey. What made up for that however was the Champions League draw as we will come up against Galatasaray!!!!

What is even more pleasing is the development of my younger players. Laporte and Muniain are wonderkids, Barandiaran has led the line well and Espericueta has been immense when called upon and his stats are rocketing up. Add to that decent performances from Marc, Ramalho, Oscar, Ruiz de Galarreta and Encinas and everything is looking good!

SUMMARY

Defeat!!!!!! We finally succumbed in the league to Barcelona despite a brave performance. We were the last remaining unbeaten side too as Real Madrid had lost to Celta Vigo earlier in the month. Overall though we played well this month and got quite a few goals.

Regarding the transfer window I brought in two players in on loan to make them have Basque nationality......

SUMMARY

A hugely successful month in which we were unbeaten and played really well. Inigo Ruiz de Galarreta was the star of the show as he scored several goals and was very impressive and gave me a few selection headaches!!

The title race looks as though as it is going to go down right to the last day as all 3 of us keep winning and refuse to slip up big time.

Finally Espericueta (Mexico) and Laporte (French) got their first international call ups.

I am on hols so havent seen him at his work but I know he is alive via facebook lol.

As for Laporte - he would have got POM the month Ruffier did but 4 clean sheets just pipped it in my book as we tend to concede a few.

We finish this month top of the league which is no more than we deserved as we beat Barca and thumped Real Sociedad in the Vasco derby. The youth intake was ok - 2 very good players and an average one called Martin Martin lol - I have high hopes for Barasoain.

SEASON REVIEW

An enthralling season! I must admit that going into it I was thinking we would finish 3rd due to the loss of Llorente but in the end we only scored 2 goals less in the league!!! We won 31 out of the 38 games and that should be good enough every year.

As for the squad, Laporte and San Jose were rocks at the back, Benat was amazing in central midfield and Barandiaran was great in his first full season at the club for such a young player. And then there was the surprise of the season - Inigo Ruiz de Galarreta who hit such a rich vein of form at the turn of the year that effictively won us the title.

Things are starting to fall into place regarding the squad and we are all set for domination but we are not at the stage of winning the title before the season kicks-off yet.

Haha stupid me... i thoug when you are not writing a name after it, that would mean you are the one that was MOTY :) first picture doesnt work indeed but got him at page 4 :). nice improvements. on 2nd pictures it stands that he is learning from a experienced player. Whos is tutoring him ?

Why? Well I figured I will become Spain manager one day so this will be my only chance to win the Copa America. Plus I have never had Messi in FM12/13 before so that should be fun and with their attacking players and my formation methinks we will be unbeatable........................
