after last update, i have too many long shots :/, work ball into box kinda do the work

I had a couple of saves going and when the 1st patch came out I started losing every game ( after losing 1 match in 25), I haven't played the maidenhead save since as I was sitting top of the table, didn't play fm for a few days as I would only end up getting angry.
See the 2nd patch had came out and loaded up one of my saves, wasn't losing anymore but winning by stupid scores each game, lots of 3-2 5-2 4-3. So stopped playing it again. Will get the full release version when I get home and see what's going on before loading up the maidenhead save.
They have no money and no budget I signed 1 player and that was all I could do! There's only bout 20 players at the whole club, gonna be tough!

I'm on a save with Barnet, won the Skrill Premier comfortably with over 100 points. Had a terrible, terrible start to the league two campaign (probably because I signed a new squad) but picked up around late October, now MAYBE I can have a playoff run.

No ahahaha from Reading just fell in love with Maidenhead for some reason, this tactic is great in my second season won the FA trophy :) but yeah we are so poor, it's a great challenge
 
This tactic produces quite a lot of cards, one thing I'd add to the OP if I were you is to ALWAYS SUB OFF THE BOOKED PLAYERS!
 
First season with Whitehawk in the Skrill South saw me win with room to spare. I did change the tactic to rigid as I was conceding a fair few goals. That helped (comparatively, as the defending in this ME is an abomination), and I went on a winning streak that saw me coast into the lead. I will say that the rating of my players was less than stellar apart from my wingers, strikers, and the one Central defender that got ten goals from corners. Everyone else averaged between 6.4 and 6.9. We'll see what season two in the Skrill Premier brings.

Good point, hard when you get 5 plus a game! I was also thinking of adding don't dive in to team instructions, but this will have a bad effect on winning the ball back.

Since the update I have added retain possession, I wasn't getting enough possession without this. Now I am winning a lot more. I will also try adding work ball into box as I do have a lot of shots some games!

Currently 5th with my Southampton team with 6 games of the season. Chelsea beat me in the Capitol One Cup final 2-1, scoring twice in the last 8 minutes!
 
Awesome tactic for FM 14.

Started with Celtic and so far in 11 games I have 8W-2D-1L

6 games in European Competition before the ChL group stage with record 5W-1D
and 5 SPL games 3W-1D-1L

Seems to work fine, with the only addition some Crosses during the matches where the opposition team is not so good in the air
 
Amazing tactic, but i`m concerned about being updated regarding new patches...When you tweak the tactic and change something (after full version and new patches), could you be so kind and and state what you did in the OP, and also provide a new download link :)?

Well, sure things got different from FM13: I've been using your tactics with Hellas Verona, where I ended up 4th in serie A and finalist in Coppa Italia in the first season, 2nd in serie A and winner in Coppa Italia, while reaching quarter finals agains Tottenham in Euro Cup in the second season. Needless to say, I loved it.

Then I downloaded FM 14 (version 14.1.2) and these are the results so far:

I'm 18th in the league now and very close to go back to that glorious FM13 save, out of frustration. :) I will give it some more time though, the tactics are almost 100% fluid and I just installed the new patch.
 
I just installed new patch 14.1.3

Unbeaten from start of season

First two games 1-3 , 0-4 defeats

wonder if its the patch of doom

was working wonders before patch
 
Yeah, since the patch, my team is having a nightmare in the following pre-season. four 3-1 defeats in a row. One was against a really bad team, while three were against teams that would have thought they should beat me. We'll see if I can turn it around.
 
My favorite tactic for the last year and im going to use it and this year.
Only one question,last year there a file for download for filters for this year,this year there is a possibility to create again for this tactic or we can use the last year filters?
 
I've been trying to create my own deep 4-2-3-1 formation but since the current version, it is almost impossible to penetrate the opponent's defense. Been scoring from set pieces and a lucky shot only for about 5 games, no matter which changes I make. Anyone experiencing troubles with deep formations? Can it be the new patchs messed up with deep formations?
 
Still love this tactic. 1. place with Blackburn last year in Championship. 3. place this year in Premier League!
 
It appears to not have been affected by the update. The defensive issues in the game are still apparent, though. So, apart from thee supposed ratings fix, the ME is as it was.
 
Starting using this tactic on 02/01/2014 with Anderlecht, current 4th in the league

1st match: Anderlecht 1 - 1 Standard
2nd match: KRC Genk 1 - 1 Anderlecht (Cup 2nd match, first won 1-0 at home with a different tactic)
3rd match: Anderlecht 3 - 4 OH Leuven
4th match: Lierse 3 - 2 Anderlecht
5th match: Anderlecht 4 - 3 Waasland Beveren (Cup)
6th match: Anderlecht 1 - 1 KV Kortrijk
7th match: KV Mechelen 0 - 2 Anderlecht
8th match: AA Gent 2 - 1 Anderlecht
9th match: Anderlecht 0 - 1 Lokeren


In 9 matches 2 wins, 3 draws, 4 lost

very bad with anderlecht.. i change tactic

Update: Tactic's fully fluid, I'm in february, 8th in the league and unbeaten in 8 matches. So yeah, it did get a lot better.
