It seems that your more likely to score from the far post. So set up your best header of the ball to stand on far post (normally right centre back) and 2nd best as challenge keeper (normally left centre back) and aim corners to far post.

The tactic WAS amazing for me with anderlecht. I won everything, including the Champions League.Now leaking goals trough the center, bad passing. What can i change to make it work again?
 
Not happy with how the Arsenal tactic went Sean? I liked it, it just wasn't penetrating enough for me. I was getting around 75% of possession in games with Wolves, but was either losing games or painfully drawing loads.

If you could get this tactic back up and running I would be delighted.

Should be interesting to see how it turns out!! I'm currently trying to make a decent flat 4-4-2 using your 4-2-3-1 as a base... The complete lack of a good 442-tac in 14.1.4 is very frustrating to me.

I was happy with it in the fact that it played much like that Arsenal team. Though for it to work properly you really need players who can play the Henry / Bergkamp roles and there's not many of them!

This variant isn't Sacchi as such, but got the same formation.
 
Sean, the new project will be again a 4-4-2? Could you unveil some details? :) a tactic with an AMC will be great. Almost all of the top/middle formations have a player that will be great in that position..

Its exactly the same formation as Sacchi 4-4-2 and has similarities, but is a different approach.
 
Cheers mate. Looking forward to it. Been happy with your "invincibles" tactic on Spurs (quite an irony ahah). 5 games, 5 victories. But always look into new projects :)
 
Who have you been using as Henry/Bergkamp for Spurs? that for me is what truly makes the difference in that tactic.

This 4-4-2 I've been working on is not about beautiful football, it's a results grinder. And I've been getting them with Palace!
