Ashley Cole Shoots Chelsea Backroom Staff

Not quite sure what to make of this?

Lol, just seen this all over the internet in the past 10 minutes.

"Apparently Ashley Cole shot Tom Cowan (21, on work experience) with a high-powered air rifle from 5 ft away in the dressing room."

If this is true then dear oh dear. That being said it is NOTW.

News of the World? As believable as Wiki. Woudln't trust them with a bargepole tbh

Ashley Cole has allegedly shot and wounded a Chelsea work experience boy after "larking" around with a high-powered rifle.

The incident happened last Sunday at the Blues Cobham training ground when Cole pulled the deadly .22 air gun from a box and fired at 21-year-old student Tom Cowan from just FIVE feet away.

A source told the News of the World: "It's truly inconceivable that a Premier League footballer could bring a gun to the training ground.

"But Ashley pulled the rifle from a box and started larking about with it in the changing room, not realising it was loaded. It ended up pointed at Tom just five feet away.

The gun went off with a loud pop and Tom screamed as this lead pellet hit him in the side. It went through his clothing and into his flesh."

Police were not called, but injured Tom was patched up by medics and given time off to recover.

TBF to NOTW, they have been very reliable on the big stories in recent times.

I highly doubt there was any malice or intent.. just another newspaper story blown outta proportion

That in itself proves it's a nothing story, the amount of money you could sponge off suing a footballer.

A News of the World story - do not take seriously.

Someone tweeted:

"Once a gunner, always a gunner" hahah

why would they have an air rifle at chelsea lol...i know we are playing **** but....

To be fair to the NOTW, they wouldn't publish this if it wasn't true, otherwise Chelsea and Cashley would sue the pants off them.

It must have truth in it for them to actually print it.

ffs, the things that Chelsea players put there fans through is actually embarrassing
