Incredible Villa!

David Villa scored 4 as Barcelona battered Bayern Munich 5-2 to progress to the Champions League Quarter Finals.

Villa bagged his haul before limping off with the score at 4-1, Ibrahimovic added the fifth goal.

Mario gomez scored Bayern's consolation goals as Barca ran out 7-3 winners on aggregate.

Ajax reject Barca bid

Ajax have rejected a bid of £5m for Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen from Spanish giants Barcelona.

The Catalan side have been investing heavily in future stars with deals for Sergio Araujo, Sebastian Gonzalez, Mattia Destro and Gerson already agreed.

Barca cruise into Semis

Barcelona defeated NK Dinamo 7-1 on aggregate to book their place in the Champions League semi finals.

Barca won 2-0 in Croatia and thumped their opponents 5-1 at the Nou Camp with Zlatan Ibrahimovic grabbing a hat-trick.

Barcelona will renew old rivalries with Chelsea in the Champions League Semi Final.

The winner of the heavyweight clash will meet either FC Porto or Juventus in the final at Wembley.

Barca agree fee for Ajax Star

Barcelona have agreed a fee of £8.5m with Ajax for Danish starlet Christian Eriksen.

The 19-year-old is widely expected to agree terms with the Catalan Giants.

Eriksen has been described as the new Wesley Sneijder and was heavily linked with Arsenal before Barcelona became interested.

A Didier Drogba double secured Chelsea a narrow 2-1 victory in the Champions League Semi Final 1st Leg against Barcelona.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic grabbed Barca's goal at Stamford Bridge leaving the tie delicately balanced ahead of the 2nd Leg in the Nou Camp.

A brace from Xavi helped Barcelona to their third straight Champions League Final.

The European Champions overturned a 2-1 deficit to win 4-2 on aggregate after an emphatic 3-0 win over Chelsea.

Lethal striker David Villa has been crowned Spanish Player of the Season 2010/11.

Villa has scored 35 goals in 37 games for Barcelona in all competitions this season.

Barca clinch La Liga!

Barcelona smashed Sporting Gijon to win the La Liga title ahead of Real Madrid.

The Catalan Giants ended the season with 92 points and will now look to add the Champions League and Copa Del Rey to the league title and World Club Championship.

The title is Jose Ortiz's first in charge of Barcelona after narrowly missing out to Real Madrid last season.

Barcelona have unveiled their retro new strip for the 2011/12 season.

The European Champions will wear the new kit in the Champions League Final at Wembley against FC Porto.

Barca complete quadruple!

Barcelona beat Atletico Madrid on penalties to win the Copa Del Rey and complete an amazing quadruple.

David Villa netted twice including a last minute penalty to draw the game 2-2. Cesc Fabregas eventually smashed home the winning penalty in the shoot-out.

Jose Ortiz has now won 6 major trophies in 2 years at Barcelona the Champions League(x2) La Liga, Copa Del Rey and the Club World Championship(x2). Ortiz has also claimed the European Super Cup twice and the Spanish Super Cup on one occasion.

Fiorentina have activated Keirrison's minimum release clause and will sign the Brazilian for £12.25m.

The striker has been on loan in Florence this season and will now not return to Barcelona after opting to stay in Italy.

Christian Eriksen joins from Ajax for £8.5m.

Marco Verratti arrives for a combined fee of £500k from Pescara and Sampdoria.

Croatian Andrej Kramaric has been signing from feeder club Dinamo for £3.3m.

Barca agree Sporting fee

Sporting Lisbon have accepted a bid of £27m from Barcelona for Portugal international Miguel Veloso.

Veloso has emerged as a quality defensive midfielder and was widely expected to seal a move to a big league and now it appears Barcelona will win the race to sign the 25-year-old.

Veloso has made 23 appearances for Portugal and scored 1 goal.

The stylish midfielder has described his move to the Nou Camp as a "dream come true."

Barca claim Super Cup!

Barcelona carried on their amazing trophy winning run by beating Atletico Madrid with a thrilling comeback to win the Spanish Super Cup.

Barcelona battered Atletico 4-0 at the Nou Camp to win the tie 4-2 on aggregate. Barca needed extra time to seal the trophy after Cesc Fabregas grabbed a dramatic aggregate equaliser in the 94th minute.

David Villa, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lionel Messi grabbed Barcelona's other goals and captain Xavi missed a penalty in the 1st leg which Barca lost 2-0.
