Barca set to ****** Ozil!
Barcelona have announced they are in talks to grab German playmaker Mesut Ozil after the player requested a move from Werder Bremen.
The Turkish born star was offered to all of Europe's major clubs after demanding a move away from the Weserstadion.
Chelsea, Manchestere City, Bayern Munich and Juventus have all expressed an interest but Barca have emerged as favourites to land the 22-year-old.
The fee is believed to be as low as £8.7m and would be a real coup for the European Champions.

Mata's the man!
Barcelona signed Spanish international Juan Mata for £25m after opting out of a deal for Mesut Ozil.
German Ozil was set to join the Catalan giants but instead Barcelona swooped for Valencia's Mata after the winger handed in a transfer request at the Mestalla.
22-year-old Mata will join the Spanish and European Champions at the end of the season and is expected to become a world superstar at the Camp Nou.
Ozil meanwhile moved to Bayern Munich for £8.7m
Barca have made a mixed start to the season thumping rivals Real Madrid but losing at home to Valladolid and picking up only 2 points from their first 3 Champions League games.
Barcelona sit in 2nd in La Liga with 19 points 2 points behind league leaders Real.

Barca move up the gears
Barcelona have hit a run of sparkling form as they aim to retain La Liga and the Champions League.
Lionel Messi has been the outstanding player in world football grabbing 17 goals in 15 appearances so far. Iker Muniain has emerged as a star smashing in a hat-trick in the Cup win against Vecindaro.

THE BASQUE ROONEY!
Barcelona wonderkid Iker Muniain has shot into the spotlight with a string of dazzling performances in the Catalan's first team.
The 18-year-old dubbed "The Basque Rooney" has been living up to his tag netting twice as Barcelona crushed Getafe at the Camp Nou.
Muniain has now netted 9 goals in 5 starts and 6 substitute appearances so far for Barcelona and even keep Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the bench in recent games.
Muniain was signed from Athletic Bilbao for £10m in the summer of 2009.
