Bilbao wrap up La Liga
15 year old Izurza nets hat-trick to break scoring records
Manchester United beaten but Barca have advantage in semis
B team still leading Liga Adelante

Champions again!!! Never in doubt but always nice and still unbeaten too! Delighted for the young lad Izurza who got a hat-trick against Espanyol to break both the clubs and leagues youngest scorer record. All to do in the Champions League though as Barca beat us 1-0 in the Nou Camp.

MAY - END OF SEASON

Bilbao come back from 2 down to beat Inter Milan in Champions League final
Valencia beaten in Copa del Rey final
B team win Liga Adelante - u19s win their league with 100% record
Guardiola sacked at Barca - Luis Enrique comes in

A great month with 2 great comebacks! Firstly went a goal down to Barca (so 2-0 on aggregate) before thumping them - they left Raedelli on the bench for some reason and then in the Champions League we were 2 down after 12 minutes before we turned it around thank god. Still unbeaten in finals although I put that down to two things 1. Playing poor teams and 2. Playing against 10 men a lot! Not so this time however.

Guardiola got sacked by Barcelona at the end of the season and was in charge of Inter Milan for the Champions League final!!!!

Aitor Herrera is god. Who needs someone like Messi, talking of Messi is he still about? What is he doing? On the other note, good end to the season with an unbeaten league record, Champions League win again. Everything looking good for next season.

At work so cant post a screenie of him until I get home. Think he is still playing for Barca. Ganso has become manager of Hercules though!

Clear out occurs in the Bilbao B side

Unbeaten season in all competitions (only 2 losses last year so possible)

PLAYERS IN
A couple of youngsters. Needed a backup keeper though and tried to get Zurbano and Ismael Bilbao whom I both released a few years back but I was quoted over £7m so bought a cheap one for £350k. Then Bilbao requested a transfer from Tenerife and I got him for £1.8m!
TOTAL SPENT: £3.6m

PLAYERS OUT
Vadillo, Jose and Saul all left on loan for fees totalling £5m. Also I sold B team players Espericueta, Roy, Ruiz de Galarreta. Larrainzar, Saborit and Laporte as they were all nearing 30 and were blocking some of my younger players coming through. Remirez left for Malaga on a free. Rejected £15m bids for backup striker Alfredo
TOTAL INCOME: £11.9m

SUMMARY
Martinez Cid is now part of the first team squad to be a back up CM (replacing Jose) and Ander Ibanez has been called up from the B team to be my back up LW. Oceano Hondo N'Dongo will now be my first choice centre half as San Jose is getting on a bit now.

A good month with another 2 trophies collected. Had a great win away to big spenders Real Madrid (they spend £100m every year - I have a budget of £300m and hardly spend anything) and then a great win away to Levante where we were 2-1 and a man down with 20min to go!

Plodding along! lol. Easy fixtures to be had with only an away fixture to PSV problematic on paper. Rotated the players quite often this month - the only problem is trying to develop Izurza and Gomez Comas at the same time while both playing in the same position!

On his 533rd appearance for Bilbao Azpilicueta gets his first goal!
100% league record maintained
Mazzarri out at Sociedad - Mihajlovic arrives
Spain win both friendlies

We keep on winning! Almost feinted when Azpilicueta scored against Malaga though - that was long overdue! We came back from 2 down against PSV and were 0-0 with Numancia with only 10min left when I threw Alfredo on to great effect so it hasnt all been easy.

Sinisa Mihajlovic's 1st game in charge of Real Sociedad was the derby against us and in his pre-match press conference he said he intended to show us how far off a title winning team we are! lol. Had to laugh at that!

Bilbao claim FIFA Club World Cup
Last minute goal beats Barca at Nou Camp while Deportivo are thrashed 9-1
Simeone takes over at Atletico Madrid for 3rd time - David Moyes replaces him at Valencia
Hercules sack Ganso as manager and replace him with Jose Manuel Reina
Spain get Ukraine, Denmark and Russia in the Euros

With the victory over Barcelona away (lucky win in truth) we have pretty much sealed the title already! Can we win all 38 games though? We absolutely destroyed Roberto Martinez's Deportivo side and scored 9 goals in the process.

In the Club World Cup we absolutely battered Al-Hilal but could only score once (well twice as we had 1 chalked off) and we beat Boca Juniors with a last minute goal to claim the trophy. Alfredo came to me requesting 1st team football and we were drawn against Paris St.Germain in the next round of the Champions League.
