Scout's report 2
02/09/2013
About 2 and a half months later and all 12 young strikers have been snapped up. Almost all of them have joined big teams although they aren't expected to make an impact on their first teams for at least a couple seasons. Perhaps some loan moves are on the cards? Let's have a look at which clubs the players have signed for.
**** ****

**** joins a fairly unknown American team and will surely make a lot of first team game, hopefully impressing some better teams in the process. We know it's his dream to play for Real Madrid, and he is really a long way from realising it. We're still not sure whether he will be used as a striker or defender.
DJ Reider

This is a massive move for DJ so early in his career, and you certainly wont be expecting him anywhere near the first team for a couple of years. Hopefully he can follow in the footsteps of other Bayern youth players like Thomas Muller or Bastian Schweinsteiger and become world class. But Bayern have a really massive youth set up so it's hard to predict exactly how DJ will progress through their ranks.
Guilgi Bellushi

Guilgi has already achieved his dream of signing for Roma but is it perhaps to soon for such a big move? Will he become a club legend like Francesco Totti, or just flop? Will he move on or remain at the club for life? Impossible to tell, but very exciting to find out.
Hans Christian Pedersen

Hans Christian has made the move out of his native Denmark, on to Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. A club known for their superb youth facilities. Hans should have no problem developing fast and earning a place in their first team and gain some vital experience.
John Cheah

John Cheah has also made the move abroad, to Greece with Olympiakos and, like Hans, should make the most of their brilliant youth facilities to develop fast a stick a claim for first team football.
Lewie Roberts

Lewie Roberts has opted to join Man City but with the likes of Aguero and Dzeko as well as City's mega budget, you dont really expect him to make a first team impact for many seasons to come. I expect him to develop under the radar in City's youth team for a while before making an impact on loan elsewhere in England. Whether he will break into City's first team or move on when he's older, there's no way to tell.
Marc Aitken

Marc made a similar move to Lewie, joining a rich Premier League giant. He has an advantage over Lewie though in that Chelsea don't have fantastic strikers. Although he should only be a youth player for now, I expect him to get into Chelsea's first team sooner than Lewie. Surprisingly Marc happens to be a Gunners fan. Wonder why he joined their big rivals.
Patrik Sangle

Patrik happens to be an Indian with German citizenship, which is why his move to Gladbach materialised. Gladbach don't exactly have wealths of youth, nor a fantastic first team, so Patrik would be able to make an impact in a couple of seasons time as long as he develops consistently. But surely he will outgrow Gladbach and move on to bigger things?
Sasha Thomas

Sasha has joined a big team in Everton, known for giving youth a chance, so we can expect him to make a first team impact sooner than some of the other players at big clubs, especially when Lukaku's loan ends. But perhaps he needs to focus on his physical game until then.
Sam Mclaughlin

We initially identified Sam as the opposite of Sasha, and it seems we were spot on as he went to the Red part of Merseyside.
Liverpool probably have too much talent in attack for Sam to think about making a first team impact for years to come, and they have a lot of promising youth stars. Will Sam be one of them to succeed or will he flop like so many before him?
Shaahid Jhetam

Shaahid opted to join Austria Wien who are known for their superb youth development. If Shaahid makes the most of that, he could be vying for a first team spot sooner than you'd expect. The first team experience would certainly give him the nod above the rest.
Stefan Tesla

Stefan has moved to Greece too, and while many people will be expecting him to get first team action soon, I wouldn't count on it. PAOK have a huge squad, so Stefan would have to impress more than half a dozen others vying for a striker spot.
