And Lewandowski joins this season.

I think as long as the player plays regularly for the youth/reserve this season, he will develop good. Remember loans are only more beneficial when the player is around 19 years old
Hopefully I'll have a good season then ( optimistic - but hopefully a game in a cup maybe xD )

Scout's report 4

05/06/2014

Good day my avid followers. I know it has been a long time since we analysed the careers of the young strikers, and I must apologise for that, but hopefully this post will make up for it. It's been a year since we first spotted them. Let's look at how the year has turned out for them. Please keep in mind that they are all roughly 16 or 17 so their development will most definitely speed up over the years to come. So even if one of these lads hasnt improved, he may be a late bloomer, it's certainly not too late. Just like Miroslav Klose and Didier Drogba are legendary strikers who weren't really playing football at such a young age.

**** has progressed a lot over the last 6 months. He's drastically improving on his quickness although that still needs work. Apart from his dribbling, he's technical skills are phenomenal. He's played 11 times this season, scoring 3. That really isn't bad for a young lad, and he's been attracting interest from a certain big Mexican club, and rightly so.

Our development rating: B+

DJ Reider

View attachment 670054

Bayern seem to have had DJ working on developing his mentality and physique because he hasn't showed much technical development. He isn't really looking like one of the best prospects like he did a year ago. He hasn't developed slowly, but not as much as everyone would have expected. He finished his campaign with 40 appearances and 18 goals for the youth team. Quite impressive, although his 25 appearances (13 as a sub) in the Bayern II team were really disappointing and produced only 3 goals.

Our development rating: B-

Guilgi Bellushi

View attachment 670056

Roma have improved Guilgi's mental and technical abilities quite a bit and have improved his physical abilities a little too. He is progressing well although he needs to be afforded more game time. He made 19 youth appearances and scored just 3.

Our development rating: B

Hans Christian Pedersen

View attachment 670058

Hans hasn't been afforded the playing time he needs to improve. He's shown very slight signs of improvement but should really push to leave Salzburg. He made 11 youth/reserve appearances scoring 2 and 8 disappointing first team appearances, mostly as a sub.
Our development rating:

John Cheah

View attachment 670061

John really hasn't improved in the last year, but I see his potential, so I recommend he really moves on to a new club. He made 35 under 20 appearances for Olympiakos, scored 8 and assisted 5. I believe he really needs to consider dropping the CB position, it's a waste of his time and slowing down his development

Our development rating: D-

Lewie Roberts

View attachment 670064

Last time out we saw how magnificent Lewie was developing. That has slowed, but hasn't stopped. He had a really good time in the city youth ranks, playing 36(12 sub) and scoring 16.

Our development rating: C+

Marc Aitken

View attachment 670065

Just like Lewie, Marc has really slowed his development. He does look like he's going to score headers for fun in the future. Just look at his heading, jumping and strength. I have no doubt that he can become the next Drogba if he improves on his pace. He played 45 youth games and scored 20. Very good performances

Our development rating: C+

Patrik Sangle

View attachment 670068

Patrik's development is starting to hit it's stride. He has shown incredible improvements in composure recently, but I feel he is still lagging behind the others. He made 19 youth appearances, scoring 3. He was a lot better for Gladbach II making 33 appearances, scoring 10.

Our development rating: C

Sasha Thomas

View attachment 670072

If you compare Sasha to where he was a year ago, you see a much improved player. He has shown phenomenal improvements and will be ready for first team action sooner than any of the other guys. He made 59 appearances and scored 23 goals and set up 6. As you can see, his game time + great facilities have helped him a lot

Our development rating: A

Sam Mclaughlin

View attachment 670069

Sam's development has slowed a lot. Liverpool should be disappointed with themselves for not grooming him properly and he should perhaps force a loan move. He made a total of 43 appearances for the youth teams, but scored only 6.

Our development rating: C-

Shaahid Jhetam

View attachment 670076

We previously said Shaahid was really slow with his development, but he has sped up a lot in the last 6 months, showing magnificent technical development and really good mental development too. He would have done a lot better if he played more. He only made 14 appearances for Austria Wien youth and scored 7.

Our development rating: B

Stefan Tesla

View attachment 670078

Stefan has shown very little improvement but I expect that all to change as he is playing a lot lately. He made 28 u20 appearances for PAOK and scored 11. He has alos bagged his league debut and made a further 6 sub appearances for the first team, scoring twice.

Our development rating: C

Oliver Grocott

View attachment 670092 View attachment 670097

Nothing much to say about Oliver as he hasn't found a club yet, although there is major interest in him, more on that later.

Grzegorz Brzeczyszczykiewicz

View attachment 670094 View attachment 670099

Grzegorz has found a club in Poland, and they have helped him develop fairly. He impressed in the reserves, scoring 3 in 4 and has since established himself in their first team scoring 4 in 11.

Our development rating: C
Feels good to get the only A ;)

Season Overview

View attachment 344167
Bayern were favourites to lift the Budesliga, and they will be largely disappointed, finishing third. Dortmund won the league quite convincingly and Schalke will be delighted with second. Werder Bremen will be shocked and disappointed to be relegated.

View attachment 344166
Man City win the league by a 5 point margin over Chelsea, with United 4 points off in 3rd. Liverpool will be delighted to make the top 4 but the biggest over achievers are definitely Aston Villa, in 7th.
View attachment 344165
As expected, PSG finish first and Monaco second, not much else to comment on.

View attachment 344164
Barcelon first, Real second and Atletico third. Were you expecting anything else??
View attachment 344163
Juventus won the league but will be disappointed with their low points total. Both Milan teams miss out on Champions league next season, which is a loss to both the teams and the competiition itself.

View attachment 344162
Juventus have also lifted the Champions league, beating Barcelon by 1 goal in the final. PSG will be delighted to have made the semis while England will be really disappointed that all 4 teams were out by the end of the quarters

2014 FIFA WORLD CUP

This will perhaps go down as the strangest World Cup of all time. Let's see why.

View attachment 344154
View attachment 344153

GROUP A

Japan tops this group that features 3 far better teams. Brazil are knocked out as hosts with, performing worse that South Africa 4 years ago, to become the worst host ever.

GROUP B

Somehow Algeria managed to be Greece and Portugal to top this group in which Australia come second. Portugal fail to win a game in one of the easiest groups a top seed could have been drawn into.

GROUP C

How did Romania qualify for the tournament let alone win this group with a 100% record? Italy fail to win a game and disappoint for the second World cup running.

GROUP D

Argentina top this group as expected, but somehow Canada found a way into the World Cup and made it out of the group stage!

GROUP E

The first group to provide no real surprises, Germany make good on their promise to win the world cup so far.

GROUP F

Holland qualify as expected but slip up against SA. Slovenia just makes it out of the group by virtue of head to head against SA.

GROUP G

This group provided no real surprises and not much to talk about. France show a bit of promise

GROUP H

England win this group of death really convincingly and Spain get very lucky on goal difference.

Second round

There were a fair amount of surprises here. USA beats Argentina, Uruguay manage to beat Holland on penalties and Algeria did the same to Switzerland. Defending Champions Spain exit early, and Romania make the quarter finals.

Quarter Finals

USA make a success of this World cup by making it to the Semis, and Romania do too. No other surprises

TRANSFER NEWS

Youngster Oliver Grocott has finally found a team

View attachment 344122

**** **** was subject to speculation of a move to America(MEX) but opted to stay in the basement levels on USA

View attachment 344119

Hans Christian Pedersen attracted early interest form Liverpool, but Bayern and Dortmund soon became favourites to sign him

View attachment 344121

But suddenly, the transfer saga took a massive turn

View attachment 344118

Interesting updates! Shocker World Cup up until the final(and maybe even then with Germany losing)! The transfer confusing with Pedersen was interesting, with Chelsea keeping it quiet till the deal was done!

SEASON PREVIEW

**** ****

**** is still at. So the best thing for him this season would be to make regular first team appearances and score at roughly a goal a game. By the end of this season, he should really look to move on to bigger things,

Guilgi Bellushi

It's going to be really difficult for Guilgi to play a role in Roma's first team. I expect him to remain around the u19s and play regularly, hopefully scoring a lot. It's probably to soon to think about a loan.

Hans Christian Pedersen

Hans has just moved to Chelsea. Expect him to play for the Chelsea u18's as they probably don't want to rush him.

John Cheah

John has had a torrid time in Greece and must look to move on if he's going to develop into a world class striker. He should've been in Olympiakos' first team now, but that hasn't happened and it's unlikely to happen now

Lewie Roberts

Lewi Roberts has developed really well at City and should continue with that, playing for the youth teams at City and scoring goals.

Marc Aitken

There's virtually no chance of first team action or a loan for Marc, but that's not a bad thing if he continues to play regularly at a youth level

Patrik Sangle

Patrik needs to play well for Gladbach II, with Haris Seferovic and Julian Schieber and others ahead of him, he won't get much first team game time

Sasha Thomas

It doesn't look like Everton will strengthen in attack. That leaves just Arouna Kone and Vellios ahead of Sasha. I don't expect him to get the nod ahead of them this season. But he should get in a few first team games, and continue to impress for the youth teams

Sam Mclaughlin

Sturridge, Suarez, Aspas and Jerome Sinclair are all ahead of Sam in the pecking order. He needs to thus play well for the Liverpool youth teams and think about a loan after this season

Shaahid Jhetam

There are plenty of players ahead of Shaahid, and he isn't even playing often in the youth team. He needs to think of a move away from Austria soon.

Stefan Tesla

Stefan Tesla became PAOK's youngest ever player and goalscorer last season. This season he needs to make a claim for first team football and make the most of his chances.

Oliver Grocott

Oliver is good enough for the APOEL first team, although there is competition for places. He needs to make the most of his first team chances if he's going to develop well

Grzegorz Brzeczyszczykiewicz

Grzegorz needs to move to a bigger club soon. He's certain to play a lot in the first team and so should use that as an opportunity to impress other clubs.

Nice updates. Can't wait to see our players make big impact in European fotball.

Nice updates. Can't wait to see our players make big impact in European fotball.

I'm hoping to finish this season by tomorrow, then the players will be in their third season and should be breaking into first teams :)

Wow, I could have gone to Dortmund or Bayern, but instead went to the 'Like to buy players instead of giving their youth a chance'-Chelsea! Really desapointed with my players decision!

I doubt some players will break into the first team next year. Some of us are at big clubs!
