Dutch full back Emanuelson has join from Arsenal as Rat goes the other way as squad looks strong. With 3 wins and 2 loses am quite happy as Chelsea and Everton are top sides. The team know has alot more depth and looks more like a top half team. Adriano came 3rd in the Goal of the Month award. The signings look to be the right ones as of know. 3 players picked up some big injuries, Toloi 3weeks, Bale 3 weeks and Hutton 2 months. Adriano has kept up his scoring form from last season as he looks to be enjoying life.

Great month with some top performances. Gained some vital points and Birmingham climb up to 5th in the table. Diarra has been a solid acquisition adding more bite to the midfield. Verkhovtsev won the Player of the Month award and team mate Milevskyi also was included finishing 3rd. The future looks good for the Blues with the squads average age being 23.
(Home) Man City 0-3: Ireland put city ahead on the 47th minute. Tevez double their lead with a curling free kick. Adriano forced Given into making a wonder save. Tevez completed the scoring as the game ended 3-0.

(Home) Fulham 6-3: Birmingham showed plenty of attacking flair but they still need help at the back. Adriano and Djalo showing their partnership is one to fear. Goals from Adriano (3), Djalo (2) and Verkhovtsev.

Adriano has shown great form with 7 goals in 9 games in the league and 3 in 2 in the cup. Still doing well in the league staying in contention for pushing for a Europa League spot. The League Cup came to a disappointing end after failing to get pass the 4th round compared to last years final. Adriano finished 2nd in Player of the Month. The defence is still struggling and is in need of help as teams are cutting through the defence with ease.
Im not sure about smithes i looked into buying him at start of season. after Hart played well last season they want to keep him and he not interested in coming back
(Away) Blackburn 0-1: Very disappointing result. Witsel gave away a penalty that Kalinic scored on the 27th minute.
(Home) West Ham 4-3: Another goal fest. Adriano scored after 19 seconds. Disappointing though as was 3-0 up and nearly threw away the win. Goals from Adriano (2), Djalo and Larsson.
(Home) Liverpool 1-3: Again unable to handle Gerrard and Torres as Liverpool destroyed the defence and the scoreline could of been worse. Doyle save a penalty late in the game. Goal from Emanuelson.
(Away) Tottenham 0-3: Completely owned by Spurs as Crouch and Defoe ran riot. The defence again showing major gaps
(Home) Wigan 1-1: Again disappointing. Boyce scoring from a corner on the 56th minute. Adriano earned Birmingham 1st draw of the season with a 25 yard volley. Goal from Adriano.

A poor month conceding far to many goal as the defence is looking a shambles. Still doing ok in the league justing hanging on in 9th so a good December or a big turn around in the new year is in need to keep the dream of a European push alive. The defence is the worst in the league with 31 goals conceded in 15 games which is far too more. On a high note Birmingham are the 3rd highest scorers with 25 goals, level with Spurs in second and 1 behind Liverpool in 1st. With these stats in mind we have the fire power for the challenge but if we continue leaking so many goals the dream will soon be over and may even lead to a bottom half finish.
(Home) Bristol City 4-1: A great result and a new tactic but annoying not to keep a clean sheet against leagues lowest scorers. Annan got his first goal for the club. Goals from Djourou (2), Adriano and Annan.
(Away) Stoke 1-1: So close to winning. Fuller got the equalizer in the 93rd minute and so close to clean sheet and 3 points. Goal from Djalo.
(Home) Newcastle 1-1: Again good result but still a game we could have won. Makes it 4 games unbeaten. Adriano scored after 40 seconds. Goal from Adriano.
(Away) Reading 2-0: Finally a clean sheet!!! It could of been 4,5 or 6-0 but the Reading keeper had a blinder and Witsel just cant seem to score. Goals from Djalo and Adriano.

At the half way point Birmingham lay 8th in the table and it seems Everton will be the main rival for that 7th spot thats if 7th is still a European spot after we see the cup winners. Adriano wanted to move to a bigger club but after talks now he has backed down. Jagielka will miss a month and Fabianski is set to join for £1.3m after being transfer listed. The new tactic has worked well with less goals being let in but is yet too be tested against one of the big guns.
(Away) Yeovil 4-0 (FA Cup 3rd Rnd): An expected result. Verratti played and showed great potential. Djalo completed a hat trick between 5 players before booting it home. Goals from Emanuelson and Djalo (2).
(Away) Burnley 2-2: Witsel scored two goals his first was an outstanding driving run past 3 the smashing it into the roof of the net. Birmingham had 10 men for most of the game with Verkhovtsev getting a second yellow on the 14th minute. Defended well and attack well if we kept 11 on the pitch would of been an easy 3 points. Goals from Witsel (2).
(Home) Everton 1-2: A very important game in terms of the 7th place spot. Djalo gave the Blues the lead before half time but in the second half Birmingham's defence let them down. Toloi first missing and interception allowing Everton to make it 1-1. Then in the injury time Bale gave away a penalty when he didn't even need to make a challenge. Yakubu scored frustration for Casey. Goal from Djalo.
(Away) Man Utd 1-2: Another frustrating night after taking the lead through Djalo again. Held on till the 82nd minute so close to a famous win then Rooney pops up on the 85th minute spotting a gap as the injured Djourou was down in pain making it 2-1. Couldn't of been more mad. Dropped to 12th after loss. Goal from Djalo.
(Away) Arsenal 1-0: After the last two games one thing was sure that Birmingham would defend like crazy towards the end if in a good position. Verkhovtsev scored on the 26th minute giving the fans over an hour of nail bitting but they held on to win at the Emirates. Goal from Verkhovtsev.
(Home) Plymouth 3-2 (FA Cup 4th Rnd) : A few players were given a chance the first half the defenders that came in made error after error letting Waghorn score twice. After the defence was changed Birmingham controlled the game with ease. Goals from Djalo (2) and Kadlec.
(Home) Bolton 2-0: A great team performance to win. Could of and maybe should of scored by more. Goals from Verkhovtsev and Milevskyi.
(Away) Man City 3-3: The game went back and fort as Birmingham showed they have the quality. Had the chances to win it but good saves from Given prevented them. Goals from Adriano (2) and Milevskyi,

A great month and a frustrating month. Birmingham have seemed to learnt alot as they tested new tactics to close off games. Things are looking good as in 8th place with 13 games remaining and a game in hand over some teams also most of the big teams are out of the way. Verkhovtsev came 3rd in Player of the Month and Witsel won Goal of the Month. No other players came in besides Fabianski, but a few left to help finances. Marcus Bent was released, Gohouri was sold to Siena £500k, Conway to Hearts £1.1m, Capel went to West Ham for £7.5m. Verratti went to Coventry on loan, Traore went on loan to Catania for a fee of £1m, Hitzlsperger is now on loan at Koln for a fee of £140k. Man Utd came in to steal another youngster this time 16 year old England under 19 international Powell Birmingham will get between £1.5m and £4.1m.
(Home) Wolves 2-1: Went in at half time 1-0 down after a Milijas free kick. Second half fought back Emanuelson scoring on the 66th minute. Birmingham left it late as the winner didnt come till the 84th Minute. Goals from Emanuelson and Adriano.
(Away) Chelsea 0-3 (FA Cup 3rd Rnd): Completely out played as Anelka, Joe Cole and Suarez hit the back of the net. On the bright side hit the woodwork twice.
(Home) Aston Villa 4-4: Went down 3-0 in the early stages of the game as Agbonlahor tore apart the defence. Adriano again was there to make it 3-1 with his 20th of the season and again just before half time to make it 3-2. Jagielka made it level heading home from a corner. Annan popped up to give the Blues the lead and they held that lead untill the 91st minute as the Birmingham defence failed to handle Agbonlahor's pace as he scored his second. Goals from Adriano (2), Jagielka and Annan.
(Home) Chelsea 2-2: Drogna gave his side the lead with a powerful free kick. Milevskyi leveled from the spot. Verkhovtsev scored on the 87th minute but again Birmingham failed to hold onto the lead as Ballack scored on the 89th minute after a mistake by Bale. Goals from Milevskyi and Verkhovtsev.
(Away) Fulham 3-3: A Fulham side who had lost their last 4 games in a row went in half time at 3-1 shocking Birmingham as they showed how not to defend. Second half they turned it on as Adriano scored twice to give the Blues a point. Should of one but for 7 saves from Schwarzer some of with that looked like guaranteed goals. Goals from Adriano (2), Verkhovtsev.

Ok we are where we want to be in the league but it could be so much better. We are in that 7th spot but could drop to 10th as we are 1 game ahead of the 2 teams below us. Adriano has been carrying the team as the other strikers look for form, at times like this you think what a difference Vagner Love would make and with Adriano reaching 30 next season it is a shame the two mite line up together with one past his peek. We are on a 7 match unbeaten run but really we should have beaten Chelsea and Villa and be alot safer in 7th. One nice note is that we are 3 points of last years overall total points with shows a huge improvement. Hopefully we can fight to claim that 7th spot and pray one of the big teams wins the FA Cup.
