We got that 7th place it came down to the FA Cup final which was between Man City and Fulham to my delight Man City won. Then Everton won the Europa League i thought i had qualified but i was wrong. Although 4 teams qualified for the Europa League i was not one of them, Everton made it as winners, Spurs due to 5th place and Arsenal due to 6th place and then surely Birmingham in 7th but no it was the relegated Fulham who qualified as FA Cup runners-up. After such a good season it ended on a sour note. Adriano was scored in the golden boot with 26 goals behind Rooney with 30. Adriano was given fans player of the season. Adriano, Emanuelson and Verkhovtsev made it into the team of the season. Liverpool won the league and Chelsea, Man Utd and Chelsea made it in the top 4. Barcelona won the Champions League. We were the join top scorers in the league with 74 goals but had the 3rd worse defence letting in 63.

If I was to give you advice, I would say you need to be more indpeth with your game reports. Perhaps provide a screenshot aswell.

Great story though mate.

Season Expectations and Transfer Budget

The Board is expecting a top half finish , £23.5m and 600k p/w.
Really we will be going for either top 6 to make sure this time we make it into Europe and good cups runs with hopes of lifting one. With Vagner Love back and hopefully so more players of higher quality and some more money being made as players who failed to impress last season will be shown the door.

I was before but its alot of effort when you hav 45+ games a season i would give screenshots of match stats but my screenshots are not workin i press alt F9 and the screenshots are not to be found only started happening yesterday. Plus the last few months i knew the outcome at the end i just wanted to get the reports out of the way.

Casey eyes Adriano replacement

With Adriano reaching 30 next season Casey has been rumor to be lining up a powerful replacement after Traore has failed to impress over the last two seasons. Romelu Lukaku looks an idea replacement but a price tag of around £20m may halt a bid. With Milevskyi, Djalo, Vagner Love and Kadlec on the books along with Adriano and Traore a move for Lukaku would see possible two strikers leaving most likely Djalo and Traore in order to still have money to strenghthen Defence and the left midfield area or left back with Bale gone.

Their were 3 major departures. Johan Djourou has rejoined Arsenal for £6.25m after impressing his former employer Wenger. Buonanotte has left for Zaragoza for £8.5m, the attacking midfielder has failed to impress in his two years at the club and with Witsel and youngster Shelvey and Verratti he was seen as surplus to requirements. The biggest move has been Djalo going to Real Madrid for £12.75m, Yannick has been a great servant for the club but his lack of goals and the arrival of a new striker and Vagner Love helped Casey's decision to sell the striker.

Fabio the former Man Utd full back has joined on loan from parent club Real Madrid. Pat Harney a young 18 year old Irish winger joined on a free from Shamrock Rovers. The big signing is Romelu Lukaku, the 18 year old has joined from Anderlecht for a new club record of £22.5m. Things look good at Birmingham with £30m remaining to spend.

Romelu-Lukaku-001.jpg

(Home) Hull 4-0: After playing poorly in the last 4 games Casey ditched his tactics from his previous season bringing in one of his old favourites. Lukaku showed his dominance in the air again scoring two headers. Goals from Lukaku (2) and Vagner Love (2).

Review

The squad has nice depth and with the changing of tactic in the last game of the month the quality of the squad is starting to shine. Lukaku has been scoring for fun in the air, the 18 year old also won the Young Player of the Month award. Lacina Traore has joined Schalke for £4.5m. Birminghams should be confident they will be in Europe next year. On the bad side Birmingham have been drawn to Chelsea in the League Cup 3rd Rnd and the rapid decrease of Adriano technique has been disheartening after such a great season last term.
