(Away) Tottenham 1-0: A lucky result as Spurs should of won. The goal came from a freekick. A boring game. Goal from Verkhovtsev.

(Home) Aston Villa 4-0: The fans were delighted after beating their rivals in some style. Kadlec played a blinder. Love injured out for 3 weeks. Goals from Kadlec (2), Emanuelson and Lukaku.

(Away) Juventus 1-1 (Champions League): A weak squad with players missing through injury and unregistered back up pulled of the impossible. It all looked to go wrong as Amauri scored against the run of play from range in the 94th minute but too the manager's disbelief Birmingham scored straight from tip on the 96th minute. A point enough to secure qualification. Goal from Lukaku.

Top of the table, qualified for the 1st knockout round of the Champions League moral couldnt be higher at St.Andrews. Verkhovtsev won Player of the Month, Kadlec 2nd in Young Player of the Month and Love's goal versus Burnley came 2nd in Goal of the Month. Casey also won Manager of the Month. After Collison made complaints about too much competition and that he deserved a place in the 1st team Sporting Life conducted a poll which show only 12% agreed he did with 86% saying he didnt and 2% undecided. This has lead to more speculation over his future at the club.

(Away) Reading 2-2: A game we really should be winning. Defended like schoolboys in the first half. Mills was sent off after 49 minutes but failed to take advantage of the extra man. Goals from Kadlec (2).

(Away) Middlesbrough 1-1: Another poor result a draw that never should of been as the team looked uninspired. Witsel was injured and will miss 3 weeks. Goal from Fabio.

(Home) Man City 4-5: Went in half time 4-2 up. Second half couldnt control Tevez who ended the game with a hattrick. Goals from Lukaku (3) and Bassong.

Review

Still in the title race but ended the month on a low note with a few poor results, if we had won those games we would be quite comfortable on top but thats football. Verkhovtsev was given a long break due to fatigue. Lukaku won Player of the Month. Adriano has joined Wolfsburg for £1.1m. Birmingham will play Ajax in the 1st Knockout Rnd of the Champions League and Aston Villa in the League Cup Semi Final. Birmingham may be in trouble as there finances are insecure with over £30m in debt, it seems that the high spending and high wages of the last few seasons are taking its toll without high merchandising sales and only a 30,000 capacity stadium to gain ticket sales. They are fears from fans that some of the top players will have to be sold if the situation gets worse.

managing your team is also about managing funds, you have not done that very well if you're in debt!

Have you lost a game and restarted it to win?? seems like it

ok 1st of all now I have started a new game with southampton because I was getting bored of this one , I not a lil kid like most of the others and a sore loser if I lose I lose, so you can shut your face

managing your team is also about managing funds, you have not done that very well if you're in debt!
I argee previous season I sold alot to cover the buys, I don't use installments I just spent more tinking cl tv coverage would I will be in profit by the end of the season I just forgot the timming of CL payments I may loose one player or two to lower to debt just to make things secure but it's nothing major

Still playing with good form and threw to the League Cup final and will face a strong Everton side who have alot of young talent. Emanuelson joined Liverpool for £9m the full back will be missed as a few days after leaving Fabio was ruled out for 3 months, Harney also left joining Leeds for £1.7m. Birmingham missed out on Kakuta who chose Everton over Birmingham and joined for a fee of £3.1m. Dennis Appiah signed on a free after being released by Chelsea last summer were he failed to impress , many say he was over rated but Casey was willing to take a punt on the youngster who only wanted £900 p/w. Birmingham made one major signing bringing in an England hopeful Henri Lansbury for £2.8m from Arsenal, Henri had failed to get his game in the Arsenal team but manager Casey said he has been an admirer of Lansbury since he was 15 and still feels he can get his career on track and have a bright future of club and country. Montgomery picked up Young Player of the Month followed by teammates Lukaku in 2nd and Shelvey 3rd.
