Martin Hmara: What a star player. 5 goals in 1 game. There are not many players in history who have achieved this remarkable result. As I mentioned last month our midfield is THE BEST in the League 2 and these 3 Lowry, Forson and Iago can do incredible things in League 1 as well. Securing promotion to League 1 so early gives big motivational boost and things we´ve done in past seasons are showing finally great results. After winning Vanarama National and becoming professional side gave a huge boost. Selling Mosconi was not easy but necessary to clear financial danger and to keep improving training facilities. They are after last update already in level good. Looking to finish season well and already doing plans with club director, assistant manager and chief of scouting team. Need to put clear focus points were we need to improve to get a good result next season. Risk assessment, targets, prospects, selling list, personalities, tactics changes etc.

Martin Hmara: Indispensable and super form full season long. Looking great things from him next season. Unfortunately his partner in midfield Omari Forson was sold and leave Blyth in the summer for 2,5 million £ to Cardiff. Trying to find a good player next to him so we could have similar lever midfield who will dominate in League 1 as well. Superb player and could easily play in higher standard.

Martin Hmara: I am delighted with transfer period before the start of the season. We managed to strengthen defense, midfield and attack. Montolio from free transfer total bargain. Dicker and Moynes for season long loan deals will make us loads of goals hopefully. Personally I believe we can achieve respectable league position this season and build up for after that fight for upper table and why not promotion fight next season. What we lack is a good GK backup or new main GK. Scouting team know their task and hopefully before transfer period is closed we get a solid new GK

Martin Hmara: We got really good offer for Juan and after Aston Villa agreed to loan back him for a full season the deal was approved. 4 million £ + future 50% profit from next sale. I think we managed to get superb deal. Need to focus on finding replacement for future. Hopefully we have some time for it

Martin Hmara: Second deal we closed before transfer period closed was loan deal for Sietinsons. He was with us already last season with loan and I know his capabilities. Good deal to back up in front for possible injuries or red cards.

Martin Hmara: Remarkable how we managed to spend only 50k £ and gain 7,5 Million £. I personally hope it will boost my chances to get approvals on improving training and youth facilities and in the bigger picture gives opportunity to think about new stadium. To sum up it was very good transfer season for Green Army.

Martin Hmara: It is hard work to push through important changes in club. You need to be persistent and continue even after failing and continuously being rejected by club board. We have the finances and we need to utilize it before we pay huge tax or give dividends for owners. Step by step it is crucial to move forward with plans to build new stadium. I agreed to extend my stay with Green Army and now new contract will end 2031. By that time I want to get at least promotion to Championship.

Martin Hmara: Incredible form from the 25 year old lad. 1 USA team is lurking to get him but I have no intenion to sell him. We did again great month and players are slowly getting well and recovering from the injuries from November. Lincoln is topping the table but we have managed to take 1 more spot higher and we are right after Lincoln on the second position.

Martin Hmara: We sold our STAR player Lowry. Not happy but he really wanted to play in higher standard and started to abrupt the squad harmony. Well displeased with this transfer, but this is the life in lower level club. And on top of that we lost more than 3 million £ because Everton could not finish the transfer for agreed price. Wonderful. We managed to sold the played anyway but as mentioned almost for 3 millions less than initial Everton offer. So financially we did not do best. But January waits and lets try to make best of it. Troy Dicker is stepping in very well and will be soon essential player for Spartans. Maybe can extend his loan deal for one more season.

Martin Hmara: Blyth Spartans had very busy transfer period in January. We sold 4 players. We purchased 2 players and we loaned a lot of players in to make our squad stronger. Juan loan from Aston Villa was terminated and to be honest it is not much of a loss, because his form was way below par. Waiting to get good results from loaned players. Pohlin was highest payed transfer from our side but decided to loan him out. Next season I will count him as first team regular.

Martin Hmara: Dainis had an excellent month and provided amazing 7 goals in 7 games + added on top of these great finishes 2 assists. Influential player for us. On the month view we did also superbly well won 6 hames out of 7 and now we are 4 points behind leader Lincoln who we managed to win in February 2:1. And second place team Portsmouth is only 3 points away. We lost to them in home soil 2:3 this month and if would of managed to draw at least we would be only 1 point away from them. All in all a splendid month with really good results. Hope we manage to keep up this super form in March

Martin Hmara: Sims goal sealed the title for us. He played well in 2 other games but first one in the month he struggled. We achieved something incredible outdogs from north England are now playing in tier 2 Championship. Besides the great success in the league I managed to convince the club board to accept my request (after initial refusal) and they invested almost 5 million € to improve our training facilities what will play crucial role in our future plans. Now we are empty. I mean our finances show close to 0 balance. But it is good investment and I am delighted that board agreed with my request in the second try. What is more fascinating is that I was not planning to ask new or update on stadium, but due to the restrictions what our current stadium did not meet any more our board need to invest to upgrade and extend the Croft Park. It will be amazing 8 927 seated stadium soon. So many good news in very short time period. We go forward with astonishing speed. After staying in the National league 3 seasons we have won promotion each season. On top of everything I were nominated Spartans icon!
