Ok but why does my Pulis keep being sacked? Is there a problem with someone in his details?
 
Btw I thought the West Ham owner sacked Big Sam? Just simmed another month and Pulis wasn't sacked so I'm not sure?
 
Borne, is it the same deal with Loans as last time? You cant process loans as loans so you have to make them permanent then change them back??

Second of all, big Roman Abramovich is still down as the the owner and Bruce Buck is still the Chairman??

Just thought i would mention.....

Never mind, all the chairman are still the old names, i am guessing you cant change these.

The chairman of Newcastle United gave an 'honest and frank' interview to close friend Chris Kamara, speaking about things such as clubs spending, his ambitions for Newcastle, his own club's signings and of course the heated arguments which have spread between chairmen over the last few days.

"I'd like to just say now, I think anyone that is arguing with other rival chairmen should take a look at themselves. They are a disgrace to their club, and to football in general. "Well as I've made clear, I am not happy about it. I don't want to mention any names, but there are one or two clubs I've lost alot of respect for. My beliefs are firmly that clubs should only spend what they have. And I am hoping that we will see other clubs that have similar feelings stick together. I think Swansea have the right idea, and at every opportunity I will be looking to help them in their battle against the tycoons."

(And what do you think to the Man City owner refusing to negotiate with West Ham)

"I don't want to pick sides, but I do think it is ridiculous, and the City owner's other comments in the press seem abit snobby to me. However, West Ham United should take some of the blame, and I think both clubs should just drop it. They are acting like kids!"

(Some fans have expressed a concern that your only signing of the window was Joe Cole on loan. Can you shed any light on the lack of signings?)

"We didn't sell anyone, despite agreeing a deal with another club for one of our stars, they stopped replying to me. I am disappointed with them, but there isn't anything I can do. No-one is for sale (Apart from that sh*te Gosling-fella).

(If you could have one wish for the season?)

"Realistically, finishing above Hull, Fulham and Sunderland. But a trophy would be nice."

(And what are your predictions for the top and bottom 3?)

"1st City
2nd United
3rd Chelsea

18th West Ham
19th Cardiff
20th Palace

Yea Pulis left again and on his profile it says he never managed Crystal Palace. Borne I'm not sure what the problem is but it needs to be sorted before the new season.

Ok I run mine a couple times and between the 14th - 18th July Pulis gets sacked and Mark Hughes hired, when Pulis is sacked it always says it is because they have agreed a deal with a new manager.

So it looks like they have already agreed a deal with Hughes by the time this starts...so maybe just delete Mark Hughes and make a new one? It would should stop Pulis getting fired??

Thanks for the help. We will have to wait and see what borne can do. If Hughes is deleted then they might just bring in a different manager, can't really continue with it like that!

I skip to day that Mark Hughes hired and then swap the two managers. The editor doesn't give complete control, :(

Beckham Less Forgiving When It Come To Simeone


It appears David Beckham has different ideas on how receptive his encounter with Diego Simeone will be. The Argentinian who Beckham tripped in the 1998 World Cup has spoken about his excitement with seeing Beckham again, but it appears Goldenballs has differing views.

Becks stated that he respected Diego as a footballer but as a person he had no time for him. He stated that he thought he was arrogant, rude and obnoxious. Beckham spoke about how thrilled he was to score the winning penalty in the 2002 World Cup against Argentina even though he was put off buy the pesky Argentinian,who tried to shake his hand moments before his spot kick.

It will be interesting to see just how these two interact come match days but for now it seems Beckham hasn't quite forgotten that Simeone was the man who made him a national hate figure back in England.

.. But maybe we should make an "official" thread - only for press-release, announcements and official FA and game stats.
Then we could use this thread for the rest.

It would make the public announcement that people work on stand more out.

I tried this last year and it didn't work too well, that is why i introduced the banners
