Getting excited now, Glad to get the season underway, When will you be simming the game next Borne? We cant actually do anything else with this stop can we its just to check nothing has gone wrong?

With every stop you are allowed to sack you manager. I think I will do an update every couple of days.

I think monthly mate. That way its scheduled and will progress the game along nicely. Well chuffed Hull are ok and their financials are ok too. Did Becks sihn ne one else

No you didnt sign anyone else but you are in ?79million of debt and your projected balance is minus ?13million

And also dont you think monthly updates may take too long? we dont need to know that sort of stuff that oftern as we can only sack the manager and do little else? How about every 2 months or all the way to December 31st?

Monthly gives us time to relax and enjoy the game. If we go straight to December its right into another transfer window. This way we get monthly progression and the MOTM's POTM, YPOTM reguarly. It will give us a in depth view of players and the club.

When I finish top four my debt will clear :)

Walker upbeat despite disappointing start.

With Liverpool currently sitting in 13th place in the league with only three points to their name it has been a disappointing start for Liverpool. Despite this Walker and Rodgers remain in good spirits in their press conference yesterday.

"It is not the start we had dreamed of but realistically it is one that me and Brendon saw coming, after three game we have come away with a good win against Hull and two narrow losses against two hard to break down teams, away from home, we cannot be down heartened by the start we are having" Said Walker, Before Rodgers added:

"There has been a lot of change at the club, it takes a while for these players to fit my style of football, we can take the positives from the games that they have been close, one goal would have changed the result. These goals will come and so will the results, I am confident that we can still challenge for the title this year. Lets also not forget that we have had abit of bad luck with Simon (Mignolet) getting injured before the start of the season this is not something I had prepared for and so Brad has been filling without the training that I would have liked him to have had"

I agree month to month is better, we can enjoy it then rather than just constantly doing transfer windows, which would get boring after awhile. I want to see my players progress, see if they get player of the month and such. :)

Agreeing with the above ^^.

Nice first update and fantastic that we're already started on the season!
--> Great work, borne!

I don't know why - but the club-overview pictures are to small to see. The others are working fine.

If I'm allowed, I have a proposal.
I think it would be great to see matchday-overview screens too.
I know it's a lot of extra work, and that people can see it in the savegame, so its only feedback :)

And why don't you have facepacks and kits? :)

Really looking forward to next update!

I think it would be great to see matchday-overview screens too.!

I think that would be a great idea, we would be able to see the lineups and such. Although, I'm sure ingame(using bornes save he provides) we can check previous fixures and the match lineup for that match)...if it is too much work for borne to provide extra screenshots! :)

EDIT: May have mis-read that, I thought you meant team overview, per match, for each team! If I have misread that then nevermind :p

I just meant a matchday-overview like this:

But it's a lot work as well.
I prefer regular updates over detailed updates - so if its too much extra work for borne, I'm fine by checking the save game :)

When will the next update be? Another monthly update could be done tomorrow or is that too much?

Injury Concerns For Threadbare Man City

Man City have not enjoyed the best start to the new season despite being predicted by many as the likely Champions, with injuries to likes of Barkley, Silva, Jovetic and Zabaleta meaning they have yet to play this season.

Reporter- Asked on his injury hit squad Cool M Cool had this to say

Cool M Cool - Yes the injuries have hit us hard and maybe it shows we let too many players go in the transfer window and struggled to bring enough in.

Reporter - Will you be re evaluating your goals for this season?

Cool M Cool - Not at all, we still have the best squad once at full strength but along with the previous Chairmans signings have a lot of new players in and around the first team.

Reporter - What are your thoughts on your manager not signing anyone else in the Summer Window?

Cool M Cool - I didnt expect him to be honest, we have enough new players and i didnt really allocate him much of a transfer budget as i would prefer to deal with all transfers myself.

Reporter - What do you think of other Chairman letting their Managers spend big?

Cool M Cool - Its up to them, the likes of Cardiff must have a lot of trust in their new manager Valverde to let him revamp the squad himself, He has spent over ?23million!

Reporter - Will you be spending in January?

Cool M Cool - We will have to wait and see there are quite a few games between now and January but having only spent around ?15million in the summer window we have the luxury that some other sides wont in having money available.

Reporter - Lastly Any positives for the new season?

Cool M Cool - Alvaro Negredo - He has really hit the ground running scoring in all 3 games he has played in so far this season with a return of 5 goals.

So there you have it Cool M Cool so far unimpressed with his sides faltering start to the season but

You've got Palace net..things don't get any easier haha!:P

I like this idea but i suggest one of us does that!! Borne does plenty with the game i think if one of us is willing then we should do it.

Just a thought.....

Great idea.
Haven't got the time over the next week, but I can do it after that, if bornes agree.

Ah, that type of overview is perfect! Borne, put this in from now on please :p Will give us scores and the players who scored, interesting data :p

Or yeah, one of us can do it :)

West Ham Chairman Satisfied with Start!

Reporter: 2 points from the opening 3 games, including a 4-0 thrashing from Man City, are you still confident in the team?
Disclaimer89 - Of course, we have a bunch of determined players who are more than capable of keeping us up this year! Just bugged me that it had to be at the hands of Man City, didn't it, after our war of words last month!!

Reporter: Your new signing, Dwight Gayle, scored on his debut. Good goal, great finish! That has to be one of the positives from this not so great start?
Disclaimer89 - Indeed, it was a great goal but we knew what Gayle was capable of, hence why we brought him in! He works hard for the team and takes his chances when they come, he will go far!

Reporter: We have been hearing a few excuses from managers about injuries! Tompkins, your 1st choice defender got injured in the second game of the season, any news on how he is doing?
Disclaimer89 - *laughs* Excuses will get them far! ;) Nah I digress, I can understand where they are coming from as you said Tompkins got injured and is out for 2 months with an injury to his knee! It is a huge loss but we will get on with things!

Reporter: Sam, made a few signings before the transfer window closed, we didn't expect that!
Disclaimer89 - I gave him some funds in case any injuries occurred, which allowed him to bring in 2 centre backs for cover, Ricardo Costa from Valencia for 130k and Valclav Prochazka from Norwich for 1.5million.

Unfortunately a few last minute dealings have went against us.

Cardiff came knocking for Reid, we didn't want to lose him but he handed in a transfer request and I didn't want an unhappy player disrupting the great morale here, so we sold him for ?5million

Liverpool activated Diame's release clause of 3.5million which we didn't expect but they are a great club and he will do well there!

Reporter: So prediction, where will the team be in January?

Disclaimer89 - I'm confident we will not be in the relegation zone, that is all I am saying!!
Sorry no more questions, that is all I have time for. Thank you!

The arm appeared in a buoyant mood regarding his teams first few matches, we caught up with him earlier and this is what he had to say.

"The arm is pleased with our performances, we got a draw against west ham, then beat Crystal palace, and
another draw against Arsenal."

"It is great to see us doing so well and always great that we are still undefeated...can we go the whole season undefeated?? only time will tell!"

The arm also had this to say about the transfers brought in from Paul Lambert:

"Paul has bought in a few players, Tomas Hubschman from Shaktar was a great buy, He is a great player and will add so much. Jean Beausejour from Wigan...I am not so pleased with this one...useless player if you ask me, would be more useful in my cat food factory but never mind. Maybe I break his legs then get someone else in instead."

Many fans were shocked to see Agbonlahor leave, and Mr Armavich had this to say:

"Gabby wanted to leave after Liverpool came in for him and we felt we had no choice. I always like him, especially after he flattened that little girl from one direction, I even offered many cans of cat food to keep him but it was not to be.

I would like to wish him best of luck but to be honest I hope he dies a horrible, horrible death"
