While other clubs and chairmen are insulting each other, breaking the competition rules, and discussing whether they have spend to much money or not, Tottenham Hotspur is quietly minding its own business. Thompson has said that he doesn't want to be involved in all this, and just wants to concentrate on his own club.

With the record sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid this summer, Tottenham has already bought the likes of Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli, Paulinho, Soldado, Capoue and Chiriches earlier this transfer window. After last week, the club can add one more name to that list. The new and probably last signing of this transfer window, Antoine Griezmann, is joining Tottenham from Real Sociedad for an estimated fee of 19 million pounds. The talented French winger is said to be a direct strengthening to the squad.

Meanwhile, Nacer Chadli has agreed to go out on loan to Norwich for this season, Andros Townsend will be loaned to Swansea, and Lewis Holtby gets a chance to impress at Everton. With the signing of Soldado, Jeremain Defoe has decided to leave Tottenham, joining Fulham for a fee of 4 million pounds.

Fulham announce new manager, Simeone

"Beckham has to be on his best when their two sides meet."

bornexplorer88 stated, "We are delighted to see Diego Simeone join us, at a time when we have experienced so much change in a short period of time. I believe that Simeone's philosophy and style of play will benefit our current crop of players, along with Simeone's vast experience in European football, this will serve us well in seasons to come"

Simeone took time out of his busy schedule to talk about Beckham.
Beckham has been extraordinary... so says Simeone, the man superstar infamously clashed with at 1998 World Cup

Fifteen years after their famous clash in Saint-Etienne, former Argentina international Diego Simeone today praised the 'extraordinary' career of David Beckham.
Beckham’s announcement that he is to retire at the end of the season has given way to raft of eulogies from former team-mates, managers and opponents, and one-time nemesis Simeone joined in lauding the 38-year-old’s high-profile career.

Beckham was sent off for kicking out at Simeone in a loss to Argentina that saw England exit the tournament and led to the then Manchester United star briefly becoming a hate figure back home.
The bad blood continued four years later when Simeone tried to put Beckham off by offering his hand to the midfielder before he took a penalty in another World Cup clash. Beckham kept his focus to score the game’s only goal.

This rivalry is set to continue as Beckham enters management, and Diego it set to join Fulham.

Swansea chairman in a last outbreak against 'The Tigers' and modern Football.

Who really protects the fans?

View attachment 430538
David Beckham had earlier today aired comments about the public utterances between BPL-chairmen, and stated that is was not in the interest of fans and players.

Requested a comment, Swansea chairman Guy Fawkes said that modern football was the real enemy of the sports and its fans.
"Hull City might buy some new camp-followers fans, but football clubs is not just a business tool on the quickest path to success. Football clubs are institutions for our fans and should be protected - not jeopardized".

Mr. Fawkes also pointed out the temerity to let a club in financial difficulties, fire a loyal and successful employee - just to hire an inexperienced underwear model, "even though a rich poster-boy seems to be the right choice for The Tigers".

Half a peace offering from the Swansea camp.

Fawkes ended the interview by saying, that he had nothing against the Hull City management personally - and that he would not engage in any more vituperation in the media for now, as he will put his focus on the beginning of the season

Wow thats a massive step down for Simeone, How much did he cost you and whats his wages?

How come Simeone is a continental manager and Fulham are national yet you still get him? Can't we start the season tonight? It's really dragging out. We've been at it for about two weeks and still haven't started the season!

That's why i have had to pay him a higher wage the same goes for everyone else managerial appointments.

I've given everyone the opportunity to look at there teams. As there have been problems and therefore i will not be simming until tomorrow.

Everyone has a good chance of checking there team.

Like this comment if you team is ok. If everyone likes it before tomorrow i will start simming tonight

At the moment every place were filled it has been going with full speed ahead!!
Just let everyone get a chance to see if there club and everything is as it should be!
--> We're all looking forward to this! :)

As for the Simeone hiring I agree with you - a bit unrealistic.
"2) Only realistic managerial appointments will be allowed, so it is not possible to being Pep Guardiola to Stoke. The same rule applies for other positions too."
But for next season, there must be some clearer rules for hiring.

Pipe down.

You must be new to chairman games? This has been flying along since we had all the places filled. It's a huge amount of work.

Happy with everything for Arsenal! Top work born. cheers mate.

Just start it. If they aren't ready they aren't ready. There are some people that aren't active and they probably won't be tomorrow! Lets just get this thing rolling! I'm friends with Sparkstriff and he is good to go!

Oh give over. Simeone is top five managers in the world ATM and to give to Fulham classes as ''unrealistic'' if you ask me. It was never in the rules that you can do that!

Well I have just simmed a bit into the season and for some reason Mark Hughes is managing C Palace, so there might be a glitch there? I didnt see if that was from the start or whether pulis was sacked and hughes appointed. It's only 3 games in so I doubt there was a sacking

Aren't active?

Just chill and in the mean time, you can look forward to this starting in a few days..
