'Good Start' for the Eagles

Q. 3 Points from 3 games. Sitting 15th in the table. Are you pleased with the start Aidan?

Yes , I think it's a good start. We had a tough game away to Everton and a disappointing performance vs Villa at home but we've recovered with a very impressive win away to Fulham.

Q. Your side also progressed to the 3rd round of the Capital One Cup with a good result away to Chesterfield.

A. Yea it was a very good result. It was always going to be a tough game and the main thing was getting through to the next round were we face Newcastle. After seeing Norwich embarrassingly dumped out of the Cup the night before it motivated us to do our job.

Q. What do you make of the fact Hull are in 81 million of debt?

A. It's completely irresponsible by the chairman. Yes they bought a very good striker in Damiao but even if his goals keep them up they are still projected to go into 13 million of debt. It's clear if they are still in debt by the end of year which they will be with with that man in charge than he will be eliminated by the FA. I would really advise him to get rid of players in January or face saying goodbye. [smirking]

Q. You've not had kind words to say about Cardiff and Norwich either what do you make of their start?

A. It's what I expected. No wins yet and I expect them to be down there in the relegation mixer all season.

As Murphy left the press conference he joked to the media , what's the difference between a triangle and Norwich , West Ham , Sunderland , Cardiff and Southampton? A triangle has 3 points....

Murphy then left appearing to be at his usual mind games.

Ian's Toffees On Fire, Possibly Melting
Everton chairman Ian Allan and manager Roberto Martinez have led the Mersey club to the great heights of 5th place.

With many new signings at Goodison Park, including ex-Dortmund player Ilkay Gundogan, the club has rose to 5th place in the Premier League at the start. With Gundogan being named as the star player of the club, Belgian striker Kevin Mirallas has put on his goalscoring boots and hit some shots in the back of the net. Is this the new era Ian warned us about or is it just a spontaneous combustion of form with many saying the Toffees are on fire but this journalist doubts this club's ability to keep this form up and contend for a Champions League place and would go far to say that the Toffees are going to melt.

By Jamie Carragher for Sky Sports News.

Don't take this seriously, tried to have a bit of a joke.

BTW Borne you said , ''If you go into bankruptcy or debt then you will be eliminated/or will be consequences.'' When do these rules come in considering quite a few teams are in serious debt?

I merely assumed if administration occurs and a points deduction is given on the save

That seems a little light, they should be made to sell those players at 'market value' if you go into too much debt!!

Yeah but shouldn't we sort out the points deductions now? Didn't borne say they would be eliminated from the game? And defy 'administration' in FM?

Really?? Why cant you guys just chill out and enjoy the GAME!!!!

Its getting kind of pathetic now......

I don't want anyone to leave the game it's just there has to be rules for people who bend them. I'm only looking to know what the rules are.

He isn't giving out point deductions, if one is given out by the actual game then they'll be punished by borne aswell.

Do stop your infernal moaning. Quite clearly aimed towards me and Hull. Enjoy the game and chill out. If I need to sell players it wont be to you. Your like friggen Wenger!

I'm loving this game, so much realism. Everyone's arguing and no-one cares about Everton! I mean, I signed Gundogan!

Yea the man that is in 80 million of debt would say '' Enjoy the game and chill out''. I want to know when these rules come in because ATM no offence but your finances are shocking. I'm curious does Borne hand out the punishments in January or the end of season or what? I think it's a bit unfair that you (Hull) can spend crazy money and stay up at the expense of another club and then get to sell players in the Summer to get out of it. Just trying to iron out a few rules now rather than at the end of season when everyone would be complaining and whining if it's against their team.

Sounds like your trying to get rid of me. I do say relax as it's a game. I'm playing my way. You play your way. If that means constantly whinging like a little girl then so be it. If you want to spend then spend if not shutup.

I only spent ?24 Million so I didnt rack up all my debt

The only one taking it personally is you as I clearly said ''I don't want anyone to leave the game'' but obviously you take it like a personal witchhunt against you haha.. I just think it's unfair if you spend nearly 30 million and are in 80 million of debt , bring in players like Damiao , stay up then someone like West Ham goes down without spending much and then you get to sell players in the summer and get away with it. Anyway it's just my opinion and it's the last thing I'll say about it.

Good your starting to bore me. All you do it bang on about my Club. Concentrate on yours. If I stay up that way and make money in the summer then fair play to me. I take a risk and it pays off. If you go down instead of me I won't feel bad. Same way as if Spurs or Everton went down. The point is not too and this is my way of avoiding the drop

This is directed at Borne and no one else. I just want clarification on the administration rule. Thanks

How in any way is it a risk buying Damiao Zouma Rodrigo Gomez and staying up and then getting to sell the players for a profit next season and actually end up improving your finances despite being in about 80 million of debt for all the season. Does NOT sound like a risk to me, sounds like a dodgy rule (if you can do it) that you have bend your way which is blatantly unfair for players who have respect for finances.

Agreeing with the above ^^.

Nice first update and fantastic that we're already started on the season!
--> Great work, borne!

I don't know why - but the club-overview pictures are to small to see. The others are working fine.

If I'm allowed, I have a proposal.
I think it would be great to see matchday-overview screens too.
I know it's a lot of extra work, and that people can see it in the savegame, so its only feedback :)

And why don't you have facepacks and kits? :)

Really looking forward to next update!

I'll look into doing matchday screenshots, might only be for the league thou. (for now)

I did have but I kept getting crash dumps, so had to delete everything and reinstall fm.
My internet is ridiculously slow so, still downloading eveything
