For now, its just meant to be English lower leagues. I will probably change it to home-grown status, like the idea.

I don't really understand?
So players from your own nation is not included in the "players from own nation"-wage rule?
Only players from lower domestic leagues are??

Please read my questions again, when you get home ;)

How do you check a players contract status? I cant find where you can see if they are first team, back up etc.

found it. Is it only backup fgn players you can loan? Found a rotation player i would have liked.

2.1)
(...) and for your foreign loan you can sign any player that has "Back Up" or lower as the squad status.

2 questions about this:

"Players from own nation - 1.25 times current wage"

1. Will players with English sub-nationality be considered from "own nation"?

it is just for players based in the nation (ie, playing in england)

2. As me and Cardiff are Welsh, will English players be considered "own nation"? (I think it would be a bit unfair if not :) )

I will be reviewing the rules for next season

3. Are the free-transfer rules "independent" signings or are they to be included in your overall signings-restrictions (Max. 3 FGN in the winter-window etc.)

You get 3 Free Transfers a season, these are separate to your FGN transfers

Hopefully that clears it up

Southampton Transfer Latest

Flea Mctavish: So, as far as we've heard Southampton have been fairly busy during this transfer window, though we haven't heard much in the way of an official line from yourselves. Would you care to update us on your latest transfer endeavors?

Certainly! As of late we have so far loaned out both Maya Yoshida and James Ward-Prowse to West Ham United. This is owing to the fact that both players are talented and will get experience filling gaps in the West Ham squad where no talent is present.

In return, we have taken in Carlton Cole, often maligned by West Ham and their fans we feel he could serve a role up front for us, he will be useful cover for Rickie Lambert.

We would also like to announce the departure of Jay Rodriguez, owing to the lack of first team opportunities with us he has had, we believe both parties are best served by parting ways. Therefore Jay has joined Cardiff for a fee of ?4M

Flea Mctavish: So there has been a fair bit of movement on your part, but I must say, there's been more leaving than arriving! Do you have any plans to beef up your squad owing to your current situation?

Yes, we have a few irons in the fire at the moment, though we'd prefer to keep that under wraps for the time being.

Flea Mctavish: Very well, all will be revealed when the window slams shut! Would you like to add anything else before we conclude this interview?

I would like to add for any interested parties that we are in search of a decent left-back, if anyone has any spares they wish to off-load at a reasonable price then we're open to negotiations. Failing that we are willing to search further afield. Young Luke Shaw is in need of a rest and we're short of cover.

Finally, our updated transfer list is as follows:

Pablo Osvaldo - Offers in the region of ?8/9M
Liam Ridgewell - ?2M

Tadanari Lee - ?250K
Guly Do-Prado - FREE

Quick question.

I take it Scottish players as classed as foreign in this game?

Newcastle Announce Two New Signings

Newcastle United have agreed a deal withSwansea to bring in Pablo Hernandez on loan until the end of the season. Newcastle will be paying all his wages, and can sign the player at any time for an agreed fee of ?4m.

Newcastle owner Scott Trowers had this to say;

"We feel this is an excellent deal for all parties involved - Swansea get a player off the wage bill they don't want, Pablo gets a chance at regular football, and we get to improve our team, as we are very short on quality wingers. And we still haven't spent a penny this season"

Hours later, Trowers also confirmed that the club had agreed a deal with Crystal Palace to bring former Toon captain Kevin Nolan back to the club, just months after he moved across London from West Ham United. The transfer fee involved is ?2m, making Nolan the most expensive transfer Trowers has been involved in so far.

"When we found out Nolan hadn't settled at Palace and was looking to move on, I jumped at the chance. We have agreed a deal to sign him for ?2m. I would like to thank Aiden Murphy for being very co-operative, especially considering how tight with the money I am!
I don't think anyone except Mike Ashley really knows why he was sold to West Ham to begin with, but now he is back home. He is a proven goalscorer, and a leader on and off the pitch. He is already loved by fans here, and we believe Kevin will give us a different option in midfield to what we already have, aswell as providing cover."

Trowers Thinks Chairmen Should Show More Respect

The owner of Newcastle United has criticized the conduct and attitude of some of his fellow Premier League chairmen.

"There are quite a few owners of Premier League clubs that are unpleasant to deal with. We have already seen quite a few feuds this season, and I have had to try and make deals with a few of them already, which proved futile. The fact is, that being awkward and unfriendly will not help any of the clubs involved - in fact, it will likely actually hinder them as they won't be able to interact with other clubs aswell!"

"We have seen owners refuse to talk with each other already, and it is ridiculous! How is that meant to help? The only reason for it, is that the owner thinks that because he owns one of the bigger clubs, us smaller clubs should bow down! Luckily I don't think I have made any enemies, but I have helped build quite a few good relations with other clubs. For instance, I feel like me and Guy Fawkes have a good understanding, and I know that he is good to work and co-operate with. I recently agreed a deal with Crystal Palace owner Aiden Murphy, and he was great to negotiate with."

"But on the other hand - and I won't mention any names - there are chairmen that have a terrible attitude, and are difficult to deal with. Already this window, I was close to accepting a bid for one of our star players, only for the other chairmen to be disrespectful, so I changed my mind and rejected the bid. If he had shown a little more class, he would have improved his team immensely, but now I am reluctant to talk with him again."

When asked about any new transfers ins and outs that are close, he added;
"At the moment, there is only one player I am in serious talks for. I have set aside around ?8m for this player, which I feel is justifiable due to the TV rights coming into the club. We are projected to make a large profit.
We have been in talks to sell one or two, but again we are only in one serious discussion. I though we had sold Tiote, but they changed their mind at the last minute, which is frustrating.
