I'm a Leeds fan myself but theres alot of Leeds stories and i'm a Bradford lad so decided Bradford would be a good choice, The signings i have made have in large performed very well although some of them are fringe players most of the key players are consistant performers which is what i was looking for when i signed them.

Overview of the Month - A month of cup games for us but started very well against Wolves and a draw away to Juventus was pretty good, A very tight game with Wolves in the league but we took all 3 points followed by a very solid team performance against Bolton, The performance against Valencia was great but the sending off was the big part of that game it was going for a draw until that point but we too advantage and head to Spain with a comfortable lead.

MOM - Sergio Asenjo (At.Madrid)

Managers Player of the Month - Alan Dzagoev - 6 goals from the Russian this month, Hes finally hit his form again and is looking dangerous, Delfouneso and Delph also played very well this month and Costa and Van Persie are chipping in with assists.

Overview of the Month - A solid month for us, Winning every league game and being crowned champions with 3 games to go but we will look to win those 3 games aswell as we look to break the 100 goal mark, 2 finals to come aswell which is very nice.

League Table:

Final games to come:
EPL - Leeds - Home
EPL - West Ham - Away
EPL - Liverpool - Away
FA Cup Final - Aston Villa
Champions Cup Final - Manchester City

Bad news on the injury front as we are without key man Nedum Onuoha for 3 month so he will miss both finals, Hopefully we can remain injury free for the rest of the games, I'm tempted to rest all my key players but i really want to break that 100 goal mark but 10 goals in 3 games might be asking too much although with Leeds and West Ham we do have a shot and Liverpool is a game we have yet to lose so its possible i guess.

On the tranfer front Sergio Conceicao has sadly parted ways with the club as he looks to lead Wigan to glory, Bradford have made one massive capture for next season as Daniel Alves will be joining for free next season, Hes 33 but will provide great cover to Richards and will allow City to cash in on Nikolov who is in demand.

Full season review will follow.

A amazing season for Bradford City as Berry went from Favoured Personnel to Legend in the space of a season, The treble was a massive achievment for Bradford and while we were favourites to win everything it was still a massive task to do it, The league was a great performance we scored for fun and had a solid defence, The FA Cup we got lucky a few times but took the final and the same goes for the Champions Cup we were very lucky to get past At.Madrid we were well on top in the final and deserved winners.

Overview of the Players:

Ilyes Richaud - A solid season for the young Frenchman, Always hard to beat at the back and didnt have a poor performance all season for the club picking up 3 MOM awards, Average rating of 7.28.

Joe Mattock - A solid defencive performance form Mattock, Going forward he was never going to be the the best but he managed to get 2 assists for the lads, Average rating of 7.09.

Micah Richards - Started out as a CB until Van Persie joined in January but as RB or CB he was just amazing all season, 3 goals, 4 assists and 2 MOM, Average rating of 7.15.

Nedum Onuoha - The heart of the City defence, Solid player just impossible to get past and performed week in week out, Sad to have missed the 2 finals but prior to that he was amazing scoring 2 goals and 3 assists, Average rating of 7.10.

Adem Ljajic - A solid season for the young Serb, Started out as AMR which didnt suit him but he came into his own after Van Persie joined up and had some solid performances for us scoring 5 goals and getting 5 assists with 1 MOM award, Average rating of 7.14.

Fabian Delph - The young midfielder had a great season, Took him awhile to get going and really it wasnt until Jenssen left he came into his own, Scoring 8 goals with 11 assists and 3 MOM awards, Average rating of 7.16.

best story on the site EVER by a mile
I hate how no one follows it apart from me and like 4 other people on a regular basis

Yeah it is fantastic. I took notice of it about a week ago only when I saw Jackfulham praise it. It's done really well nd is always interesting to read.

but unfortunately stories run on popularity rather than quality sometimes.

Thanks for the support guys, As for people not following it its hard to say really, Alot of people may be like me when it comes to stories, I read most stories on here but rarely comment on them unless something interests me alittle more than other stories and even then i'll only post every now and then as to not flood the story because the last thing you want is a 2-3 pages in and still being in the first season or something.

I'll be playing atleast one more season as i look to be the first team on my game to be back to back champions, I will be fielding my reserves and youths in the League Cup and the early rounds of the FA Cup maybe bringing in first teamers if we progress closer to the final. The league and the Champions Cup will be my main focus though.

Tranfers i'll be looking for are a new AMR to replace Van Persie, A new LB to replace Mattock, A new CB more as backup though so maybe a youngster, A new striker as backup to Delfouneso and Gutierrez but i may look into the likes of Torres or Villa for that as i do like to have alittle bit of experience around my team. With both Lampard and Cahill retiring i will need a few backup midfielders aswell, We have Alves joining so that covers the RB area.

Will update once i start the new season.

Champions Cup dream team:
View attachment 24587

Very happy to have 7 named in the dream team, Suprised to have 3 defenders and only 2 midfielders with the main shock for me being Joe Mattock who for me this season was the weakest player in the squad all season but thats being very harsh on him.

Well in mate, you are doing fantastic, you really stick by the experienced players such as Lampard and it really pays off, you've put together an amazing squad at won the PL already, fantastic achievement winning the treble ;)

Yea i love the oldies, They dont get much playing time but i just signed up Kaka and Cardozo who are both in their 30's now, Thats Kaka, Cardozo, Alves and Van Persie all in their 30's but all still able to play first team football, Doubtful many with get starts but as late subs Kaka, Cardozo and Van Persie can all change a game and Alves is just backup.

Cant beat abit of experience in the team, They always step up in big games and in both cup finals the first goal was scored by a experienced player, They just seem to handle it alot better whereas the younger players struggle at times for me.

me and jack fulham are your top followers mate, we will always follow, your stories are hot

2016/17 Season:

The season odds are in and Manchester City are favourites to win the league this season with Bradford 3-1 second favourites, I believe i have made signings that will boost us as a team bringing in 7 youth players for the future with 3 experienced pro's in Kaka, Cardozo and Alves along with 2 regen's who will go straight into the first team.

We have made sales aswell as signings though with Nikolov moving to Man City for 9 million, Mescheryakov moving to Werder Bremen for 10 million, Bergstrom to Strum Graz for 6 million and Lukas Poborsky to Man United for 6 million aswell as a few smaller transfers, We were given 64 million funds at the start of the season, Spent 37.5 million and made 36.5 million so we still have almost all the funds left as we will look to add another player or two before the window shuts.

Tranfers and Budget:
View attachment 24868 View attachment 24869

The first move in the transfer window was the signing of Daniel Alves on a free transfer from Barcelona, The experienced fullback will act as cover to Micah Richards and allowed for the sale of nikolov.
View attachment 24870

Berry again shows his trust in experienced players when he brings in Kaka from Real Madrid for a part exchange plus 1 million, Tom Sweeney is the player heading to Madrid, A player Berry had alot of hopes for but he just fizzled out so a trade off for Kaka is good for Bradford.
View attachment 24871

Berry decides he needs cover to Delfouneso and Gutierrez in attack and looks to experienced Benfica striker Ocsar Cardozo, The 33 year old striker joins up with the Bantams for 2 million, Berry admits he will be used as a impact sub with Delfouneso or Gutierrez being the starters but Cardozo's record for goals is amazing so he can still bring alot to the club.
View attachment 24872

Berry decides its times to bring in some young players and his first capture is Michel Van Rooijan, The 21 year old centreback joins for a fee of 9 million from Sampdoria, Berry see's him as the ideal replacement for Leonardi who will become backup.
View attachment 24873

The final signing of the season so far is another young centreback in Ezequiel Almeida, The 24 year old joins Bradford for a fee of 12.5 million from AC Milan, Another centreback and he will come into the starting lineup with Onuoha dropping out but despite Liverpools best efforts Onuoha is not for sale.
View attachment 24874

With these signings we have sured up our backline even more, Added experience in midfield as we lost Lampard and Cahill aswell as adding a proven goal scorer, We are still looking to bring in another midfielder but have yet to find one who fits the bill.

Preseason Results:
Leverkusen 0-3 Bradford City
AA Gent 0-7 Bradford City
Recreativo 0-1 Bradford City
Villareal 1-2 Bradford City
Betis 1-2 Bradford City

5 friendlies all away and 5 wins as we set to start our new season, We are feeling very confident as the season looks to start, Our first game is in the Community Shield as we play Liverpool a team we have yet to lose to so we could start off with abit of silverwear which would be nice.

I wouldnt say i'm doing that good, From a midtable finish in the first season to challange for a place in europe is pretty common, I just make sure the players i sign will fit into my team and can play the role i want them to play, I dont sign players based on reputation who cant play the role i want them to, Alot of people will sign players then ask what role suits them best, That doesnt work for me as i have set tactics with set positions and roles, I tried switching the roles of my widemen a few times and it just doesnt suit the team i have built.

You are a genius.

Bradford have made one new signing before the transfer window closed, Bringing in Marc Muniesa, The 24 year old defender can play LB or CB and will be replacing Joe Mattock at LB as Berry looks to improve on his already impressive defence.
