Manchester United 2-3 Bradford City (Welbeck, Vidic - Onuoha, Costa, Ceravolo)
Bradford face United in the League Cup and are confident after a amazing start to the season and its not long before City take the lead, 14 mins and a Nikolov corner is nodded home by Onuoha and close range.United push forward and on 33 mins pull it level with a amazing passage of play, one touch passes before Welbeck drills home from just inside the box.Second half starts off even but its City who go ahead on 48 mins when Costa pounces on a mistake from Evans and drills it home, Ceravolo finds the net on 55 mins with a simple near post finish but sadly the prize striker is injured on 70 mins a massive blow to City, On 77 mins a corner is sent into the box and Vidic powers it home.United push for a leveler but Richaud plays a blinder and City are through.

Another home tie for City and its a high flying Boro side and Boro look very strong at the back for the first half but going forward they just look flat and its so easy for Onuoha and Leonardi, City look the most threatening but Boro hold out until 45+1 when Dzgoev hammers home from 20 yards out, Took something special to break the deadlock and Dzgoev is that.Second half is all City and on 53 mins Dzgoev nets again with another peach from outside the box, On 69 mins Dzgoev turns provider as he flicks the ball through for Ceravolo who drills the ball home and on 73 mins Ceravolo gets another with a fine header leaving the keeper no chance, Brave first half performance from Boro but the difference is class showed through.

Bradfords final game of the month is again at home and its Everton, Both side cancel each other out in the first half, Its more of a game of defences than attacking flair as neither side can break the deadlock.Second half is more of the same but on 61 mins a freekick from Bilyaletdinov flys into the top corner and City are behind, They push forward but cannot break through a solid Everton defence and its another loss for City.

Managers Player of the Month - Alan Dzagoev - 3 goals for the attacking midfielder and a few assists, A very weak month considering we were at home but Dzgoev was the big plus of the month.

Overview of the Month - A great start getting past United in the cup, The a nice win over a game West Ham, Wolves outplayed us and deserved the win we were without key players but we still shouldnt play that bad, Bounced back well against Boro and Dzgoev and Ceravolo played amazing, Then another shocking performance against Everton, 2 wins and 2 losses with a cup win just isnt good enough when it was all at home.

2 signings to come in January the arrival of a experienced Tim Cahill who is joining on a free transfer, Will be used as a backup to Lampard.The other signing is Dzgoev's Russian team mate Igor Akinfeev the 28 year olds contract was running out so Berry acted quickly, Still have to pay 5.25 million for the Russian shot stopper but hes going to make us stronger and the back although he needs to really perform to replace Richaud.

The FA Cup is here and City draw championship side Palace in what should be a easy match, City field a strong team but rest Ceravolo in place of Sweeney as we have alot of games this month, It only takes 10 mins for City to make a break through and its Dzagoev with the goal, Good play down the left from Costa and the finish is simple.Palace hold out well until the break but dont look like scoring, Second half gets off well for City when Dzagoev nets again on 59 mins with a wonderful curling effort.On 71 mins its all over, Young striker Sweeney nets at close range to send City through.

Bradford face Everton in the League Cup and make just one change bringing back Ceravolo only hes out right now with Etuhu out injured so Sweeney will play upfront, The lead is taken by City on 18 mins when Jenssen nets a fine team goal, Lots of quick passing and a instant finish.21 mins and its 0-2 Costa coming in from the left to drill the ball past Howard.City cruise into the break 0-2 up.Sweeney nets on 54 mins with a close range header to make it 0-3 before Evans pulls one back for Everton on 67 mins with a good finish from outside the box, On 71 mins a mistake from Howard hands City a spot kick and Ceravolo makes no mistake.

Bradford travel to league holders Tottenham in what will be a massive task, Both sides feel each other out for the opening 30 mins but on 31 mins Dzagoev pops up with a 25 yarder to open the scoring for City.Spurs try to get level before the break but it doesnt come, Its not long after the break though when they do pull level Bassong powering home a Bentley corner on 57 mins.City push forward and its Costa who gets them ahead a fine solo effort from the wide man, Running with the ball cutting inside before stabbing it home on 68 mins, On 77 mins a Nikolov corner causes Spurs problems and they fail to clear and Onuoha lashes the ball home for 1-3.Spurs try and attack but City hold on for the win.

Bradford host Everton in the 2nd leg in what should be a routine game with City 4-1 up from the first leg and when Lampard nets his first goal for the club on 21 mins with a freak cross shot its all but over, Fellaini has other ideas though and pulls it level on 26 mins with a towering header.Second half see's Clement sent off for Everton on 55 mins and City go ahead again on 61 mins when Dzagoev is given too much room on the edge of the box and he drills it home, Fellaini again levels it up on 74 mins with another fine header but City control the rest of the match and progress to the final.

Bradford get a Yorkshire Derby in the 4th round and its league 1 Barnsley, Dzagoev puts City ahead on 3 mins with a wonderful effort from 25 yards out.A lead that is doubled on 12 mins by the head of Ceravolo and on 43 mins Costa gets in on the act with a fine curling effort from just inside the box, Second half see's Lampard go off with a knock and in comes Cahill for his first game and on 47 mins he gets his first goal a towering header from the new signing, Cahill strikes again on 50 mins with a bullet from 20 yards out, The game is all but over when Costa scores another fine curling effort on 80 mins and when Ceravolo converts at close range on 89 mins surely its all done, Ceravolo earns a spot kick on 90+1 and with 3 men on a hattrick assigned penalty taker Ceravolo for some odd reason hands the ball to Cahill who hammers it home, A hattrick in his first game for City.

Bradford face struggling Bolton in a match City will be looking to take so when Dzgoev nets after only 5 mins with a curling effort the nerves are calmed, The lead is doubled on 18 mins when Etuhu cuts in from the right and shows great skill to skin a defender before drilling it home.20 mins and Dzgoev goes through on goal only to be hacked down, Up steps Ceravolo and its 3-0 to City.City cruise to the second half ahead and look like scoring at every attack so when Dzagoev gets a chance to make it 4-0 on 81 mins the Russian makes no mistake drilling home from close range, The game is sealed with a wonderstrike from Ceravolo on 90+1, A 30 yard screamer into the top corner not bad at all for a man who is known as a poacher to the City fans.

Managers Player of the Month - Alan Dzagoev - 7 goals from the attacking Russian, Scoring and assisting for the team a great month for the Russian, Ceravolo had a good month too netting 5 times and Onuoha picked up player of the month while Richaud picked up young player of the month, Akinfeev joined and got welcomed with a 3-4 month injury on his first day so Richaud gets to keep his shirt for now.

Overview of the Month - More of a cup month for us this time around, Progressed through them all though with some dominating performances, Slipped up against Sunderland in the league but its a tough team to play against, Finished off with a nice league win over Bolton though and we are still flying high in the league, However next up for City in the league is that most hated of teams Burnley, Can we ever overcome those, Well we will see.

I wouldnt say i'm doing that good, From a midtable finish in the first season to challange for a place in europe is pretty common, I just make sure the players i sign will fit into my team and can play the role i want them to play, I dont sign players based on reputation who cant play the role i want them to, Alot of people will sign players then ask what role suits them best, That doesnt work for me as i have set tactics with set positions and roles, I tried switching the roles of my widemen a few times and it just doesnt suit the team i have built.

The final is here and its a massive chance for City pick up some silverwear but Villa are no pushovers as they proved in the league last month, The lead is taken by City on 2 mins when Dzagoev is sent down the right and he lashes it home from just outside the box.The lead us doubled on 16 mins when Jenssen again gets forward and scores a peach of a header coming into the box late and powering it home.Villa pull one back on 25 mins when Delph hits a bullet from 30 yards out and Akinfeev is left stranded and its game on, Both sides are really going for it but at the break City lead.Second half is a very close one both sides create chances but on 62 mins its Costa who finds the net after good play from Etuhu on the right he drills it across the box and Costa is there to stab it home.Villa push forward but Akinfeev is playing a blinder and City get the win they wanted.

A big task for Bradford as the play Man City but they get a early lead on 9 mins when Ceravolo is found unmarked for a simple finish, Man City to hammer forward and keep Bradford in their own half and its clear to see why they are top of the league.Second half see's Lennon send off for a bad foul on 62 mins and Bradford look comfortable here but on 71 mins a corner proves the downfall of Bradford again when Teves is found and its 1-1, Both sides go for win but maybe a draw was the fair result.
MOM - Igor Akinfeev (Bradford City)

Overview of the Month - A poor month, 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses is just aweful and we have blown any chance of winning the league now, I expect better from my team now i know they can win games against big clubs losing to the likes of Birmingham just isnt good enough.

A must win game for City here, 3 points will see them secure 2nd place in the league and it gets off just how City wanted when Bergstrom scores a wonderful header on 25 mins, Both sides play poorly for the rest of the half but City have the lead they wanted.Second half see's Mattock net a rare goal for City and no suprise really its a cross that finds the net on 56 mins, The lead is down to one on 59 mins when Mattock gives away a spot kick that Dembele scores, 69 mins and its all level a fine strike from Walker and City again thow away a 2 goal lead but on 80 mins Frank Lampard shows even at 36 he still has it and unleashes a bullet from 30 yards out that rockets into the net.

Overview of the Month - 1 win and 2 draws is ok as we got our position secured in the first game of the month, 2nd place is a massive achievment for Bradford City.

Always compose my own tactics Joe, They are very basic and somewhere early in the thread i explain them for someone although now i have changed one position its still pretty basic, I dont do fancy tactics i just get the basics covered which with a team like mine is all you need, I dont go fancy because i dont have the big name players with the ability to play that style and i never will have because they dont suit the roles i like my players to have.

Ilyes Richaud - The young keeper was very solid for us this season although Akinfeev did come up later on he still performed when needed, 2 MOM awards, Average rating of 7.14.

Joe Mattock - The LB had a good season, Again not a attacking force but my fullbacks never will be, He did score 1 goal and get 2 assists with 1 MOM, Average rating 7.12.

Georgi Nikolov - The RB was very solid and took my freekicks/corners so was alittle better than Mattock for attacking options, 1 goal and 6 assists, Average rating of 6.92.

Nedum Onuoha - The CB for us this season, Just a rock at the back a great player who is getting noticed at last, 2 goals, 2 assists and 3 MOM, Average rating of 7.10.

Francesco Leonardi - The young CB came in this season and did very well next to Onuoha but is still only 20 so alot to learn, 1 goal, 1 assist and 1 MOM, Average rating of 6.95.

Ruben Yttergard Jenssen - I'm a massive fan of this guy, Goes abit his business without a fuss and can score goals, 4 goals, 9 assists and 1 MOM, Average rating of 7.03.

Frank Lampard - The experienced midfielder was a real rock for us, Only scored 2 goals and got 5 assists and 1 MOM but hes a legend, Average rating of 6.94.

Kelvin Etuhu - Still in the starting lineup for us and still performing, 8 goals and 11 assists,Average rating of 7.04.

Douglas Costa - Switched positions this season but still a attacking force for us, Scored 10 goals and got 9 assists with 3 MOM awards, Average rating of 7.28.

Alan Dzagoev - The big money signing proved a bargain at 18 million a total beast going forward, Scoring a impressive 18 goals and 12 assists with 5 MOM awards, Average rating of 7.40.

Fabio Ceravolo - The lone striker was a sensation this season, Finished top scorer for the Premiership too on 26 goals with 8 assists and 4 MOM, Average rating of 7.34.

Other Players:

Tim Cahill - Rarely played but did a job when he came in, Scored 1 goal and got 1 assist,Average rating of 7.05.

Igor Akinfeev - The Russian shot stopper came in late but really performed well,Average rating of 7.15.

Its been a great time with Bradford but i have yet to decide if i will play another season with them just now, I would like to win the league with them and maybe get some European glory but i'm not sure yet, I may start a new challange but i'll be sure to update once i decide which way i'm going.
 
Well, It looks like i'm going to give Bradford atleast one more season i've been looking for a new challange and have yet to think of one that will keep me as interested as my City one has done and is still doing.

Having finished second my expectations are challange for the title this season and was given 35 million in order to build a team so i started tracking players, Some i've been interested in for awhile and one who caught my eye when he played against my side last season.

First signing was a young LB from Shakhtar called Nikolay Chernyshev hes average at best but was part exchange for a deal that took Garvan the other way for 5.25 million.

Second signing was a new striker as Ceravolo wants to move on so i decided the time was right to splash the cash on a striker who has been catching my eye for a few seasons now, Nathan Delfouneso joins Bradford City from Aston Villa for 14 million.

Third signing was a replacement for Etuhu who is finally being offloaded and its a man who caught Berry's eye each time City played Manchester United last season, Adem Ljajic is signed up for 9.25 million.

Forth signing was a new RB to replace Nikolov who isnt moving on but is dropping to the bench, Either that or Leonardi will drop to the bench and Nikolov will play RB, Either way City again splash the cash and bring in Micah Richards from Manchester City for 12.5 million he was getting abit of a raw deal at Man City so jumped at the chance to join Berrys Bradford.

Fifth signing was a WB/AML regen from Barcelona not someone i had heard anything about but was linked with a move for him and with a buyout clause of 7.5 million i decided to snap him up, Robert is the newest signing for Bradford City.

The sixth and final signing is a new MC to replace Lampard who will not be backup to a player Berry has been a fan of for years, Fabian Delph joins Bradford City from Aston Villa for 9 million.

I believe with those signings i have built up a team that can challange for the title this season, On the selling front City sold Kelvin Etuhu to Zenit for 7 million and Fabio Ceravolo moved to At.Madrid for 20 million aswell as the transfer of Garvan to Shakhtar for 5.25 million.

First game of the season is against the most hated team in Berry's eyes ****** Burnley, Things get off to a flyer for City though when Dzagoev nets a fine shot from outside the box after only 49 seconds.The lead is doubled on 26 mins when Delfouneso nets on his debuet a simple near post finish.Second half gets off quickly for City when Jenssen nets a fine effort from just outside the box on 48 mins, Dzagoev nets his second of the game on 53 mins with a fine long range effort from a good 20 yards out, Brown pulls one back for Burnley on 60 mins with a near post header but on 79 mins Ljajic nets on his debuet with a fine strike after coming in from the right.

Bradford face West Brom and attack from the off but a solid defencive performance from West Brom manage to keep City out until 43 mins when Dzagoev scores a simple tap in after good work from Lampard.Second half gets off slowly but eventually City come into the game and on 70 mins Dzagoev gets his second with a wonderful freekick from 20 yards out, 78 mins see's Lampard score a beauty from the edge of the box curling it into the bottom corner, A goal that went on to win goal of the month just pipping Jenssen's goal against Burnley.

Bradford face Chelsea in a massive game, Chelsea are struggling right now though picking up 2 points from 2 games so City have a shot, The lead does go to Chelsea on 17 mins and its a corner from Cole that Wilson powers home, The lead is gone on 19 mins and its that man Dzagoev powering home from just inside the box.Chelsea go ahead again on 31 mins when Onuoha puts a Cole corner into his own net.City again level up on 45+2 and Delfouneso is the man, Pouncing on a mistake from Terry to make it 2-2.City take the lead in the second half early on and its Delfouneso again with the goal, Sent clean through my Dzagoev and its a simple finish on 51 mins, Delfouneso nets his hattrick on 63 mins with another fine goal, Dzagoev again provides and its in the net, Cole finds the net on 72 mins with a wonderful run and finish to make it 4-3 but on 88 mins Delfouneso nets a peach from 25 yards out to settle this game, What a match though and Delfouneso and Dzagoev look like a deadly combo.

Managers Player of the Month - Alan Dzagoev - 6 goals and 3 assists already for the Russian, Playing just behind Delfouneso he is deadly and i can see him providing goals for Delfouneso too who had a great month and picked up player of the month while Richaud picked up young player of the month.

Overview of the Month - 4 wins i have no complaints at all, Burnley were squashed and West Brom too, Newcastle were very unlucky but we won and the Chelsea game was just crazy it could have ended any score but we got a massive win.

In the Europe we got a hard group, Barcelona, Rangers and Genoa i think we can beat Rangers home and away, Genoa will be tough in Italy but at home we can win, Barcelona are going to be hard to beat home and away but maybe with abit of luck we can get second.
 
Just got the registration done for the Champions Cup and i'm shocked to see Bradford City are 3-1 favorites to win the Champions Cup, Considering the team i have i would like to think i'm in with a shot of making it through the group stages but to be made favorites to win it i really dont understand as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool and Juventus all have better squads than i do.Will be interesting to see how it goes as my first game is coming up after i play Blackburn in the league we travel to Barcelona for our first game in Europe, That will give me a insight into how strong we are i guess.

Bradford travel to Blackburn for what should be another comfortable win but Blackburn defend well until 27 mins when Dzagoev plays in Delfouneso and he flicks it past Robinson for 1-0.On 37 mins Jenssen picks out Delfouneso and again its a cool finish from the striker.On 43 mins its 3-0 and its Dzagoev who robs Richardson and runs with it before unleashing a shot from 25 yards out.Second half see's Dzagoev end all hope for Blackburn on 56 mins, Delph is fouled by N'Zonzi and Dzagoev converts the freekick from 35 yards out, A amazing strike from Dzagoev.City just control the match for the remainder of the match.

A big task for City as they face Chelsea in the League Cup but Chelsea have been poor so far this season so its a good time to play them, City are in total control for the best part and should score 2-3 goals but fail to convert, Eventually they get the breakthrough on 31 mins and its the returning Delfouneso with the goal, Dzagoev is again the provider and Delfouneso makes no mistake infront of goal, Those 2 are a leathal combo so far this season.The lead is doubled on 45+1, Costa lays the ball across the box after some good work down the left and Dzagoev converts.Second half is controled by City but Chelsea do get a goal on 68 mins when Jenssen coverts a corner past his own keeper, Chelsea do push for a leveler but City's defence performs well but sadly on 84 mins Richards is lost to injury.

Another massive task for City as they face the inform Aston Villa who sit in 3rd, Its a return for Delph and Delfouneso but City are without Onuoha and Richards at the back which is a problem.Its a very close game early on with both sides going close a few times, As we come up to half time City look the most likely to score but its level at the break.Second half is close again and both sides go for it and its Villa who take the lead on 68 mins, Agbonlahor's pace proves the downfall of City who without their 2 pacey defenders look weaker at the back cant cope, He goes clean through and slams it home.City hammer forward and create a good few chances to level it up but its just not their day.

Bradford host Rangers in the Champions Cup and welcome back Onuoha at the back, The lead is taken early on by City and its Dzagoev who is picked out by Costa with a 30 yard ball and he runs into the box and slams it home.39 mins and its 2-0 a Nikolov corner is converted by the head of Costa netting his first goal of the season.Second half see's City push for more and on 64 mins Costa gets his second of the game, Delfouneso playing the ball to the edge of the box and he curles it home, Ljajic gets in on the action on 69 mins cutting in on the right and drilling home from a tight angle.The game is over on 88 Soumare getting in the way of a Delfouneso but the balls loops over Hart in the Rangers goal for 5-0.

Managers Player of the Month - Alan Dzagoev - 5 more goals for the Russian taking his total to 11 goals in 10 games in all competitions with 6 assists, He is the heart of the team and in Delfouneso seems to have found a wonderful partnership, Richaud was again named young player of the month and is keeping Akinfeev on the bench.

Overview of the Month - Blackburn were crushed, The result against Bacrelona was really good although we could have won, A massive win over Arsenal followed by a cup win over Chelsea but the loss to Villa hurt us but we bounced back really well against Rangers and dominated them.

While we are really performing this season i think we need to add alittle more depth to the side, Delfouneso and Sweeney are all we have upfront and i have no cover for Costa on the left of my very potent attacking midfield, Maybe need another defender too as cover for my CB's but i think maybe we can cope without that for now and the main target in January will be a AML.

Bradford host bottom of the league Wolves in what should be a easy game but City seem to struggle against weaker sides and thats how it starts off, Wolves pressing alot and keeping Dzagoev and Delfouneso quite.Wolves grab the lead on 32 mins when Keogh powers home from a corner.Second half City make 2 chances bringing in Lampard and Cahill for Jenssen and Delph and its not long before City are level, 52 mins and Costa picks out Dzagoev in the area for a simple finish.City control the rest of the half but Wolves do well to limit Dzagoev and Delfouneso and its a poor result for City.

Back to the Premier League and another home game against Wigan, Its all City early on but on 19 mins and long ball up field finds Jones and Richards bring him down in the box, Curri steps up to convert the spot kick.City attack right away and are level on 23 mins through Delfouneso picked out with a perfect pass from Costa and his pace takes him through to level it up.Wigan are clearly knocked by the goal and on 25 mins are hit with another goal Delph laying the ball off to Dzagoev for 2-1.The match is pretty much over on 31 mins, Dzagoev hits a thunderbolt but it hits the defender and bounces up and Delph hits it on the volley from 25 yard out a wonderstrike from Delph for his first goal for the club.Second half is just none stop City attacks as Wigan just try to limit the damage and they do a really good job and it ends 3-1 to City.

Bradford look to continue the good run as they host Spurs, Both sides attack and on 8 mins a total fluke goal gives Spurs the lead Gomes kicks the ball upfield and Dzeko heads it on and it loops over Richaud for 0-1.The lead is 0-2 on 26 mins and this time its a goal of real class from Dzeko a fine move from Spurs cutting open the City defence for 0-2.City pull one back on 39 mins as Costa rolls it across to the Delfouneso at the back post for a simple tap in, Spurs hold the lead at the break.Second half is all City as Spurs look to hold on but on 71 mins Granqvist brings down Delfouneso and Lampard steps up to covert.Both sides could have scored a winner but it goes to extra time.First period of extra time ends level with both sides looking tired but on 114 mins Lampard scores a bullet from 30 yards out but the goal is given to Dzagoev as it looks like the Russian got a touch as it went through, The match is over on 118 mins when Ljajic is played down the right and he cuts inside and slams it home for the win.

Bradford head to Liverpool for a match with Everton and its a very edgey first 10 mins or so with both sides struggling to get going, On 17 mins though a mistake from Carrick who pulls back Delph and Costa steps up to convert the spot kick, The match continues as poor after the goal and its 0-1 at the break.Everton are down to 10 men on 53 mins when Moreno is sent off for a foul on Jenssen but Everton pull it level on 72 mins when Radev scores a wonderful freekick from 20 yards out, The winner comes for City on 85 mins when Delph plays the ball upfield and Dzagoev picks it up and drives forward before smashing it home.

Managers Player of the Month - Alan Dzagoev - 5 more goals for the attacking Russian, He has only failed to score in 3 games this season taking his total in all competitions to 16 in 16 with 9 assists, Again the Dzagoev Delfouneso partnership has proved a force and Delph has started to shine this month and Costa too since he got his first goals last month.

Overview of the Month - A massive win over United was followed by a poor result to Wolves, Genoa was a massive win for us, Wigan result was nice and the cup win over Spurs was nice although the League Cup is not a priority this season, The win over Everton was good although we were very lucky and the sending off helped us.

Bradford face Genoa in the Champions Cup and both sides start off quite slowly, Neither side attack much but City create the better of the chances in the first half with Delfouneso's pace proving a real problem for Genoa's defence but its 0-0 at the break.Second half City get alittle more attacking as Genoa sit back but that proves costly for the Italians when Nikolov swings a ball into the box and its not cleared as Delfouneso lashes it home for 1-0 on 85 mins.Genoa push forward but on 90+1 City get a corner and Nikolov sends it far post and Richards powers it home for his first goal for City.The result see's Bradford progress to the knockout stages with 2 games to go.

Bradford face high flying Boro in the league but City are in total control of the game from the off and its just a matter of time before they take the lead and its on 25 mins that goal comes, Nikolov plays it to Delph who hammers it home from 25 yards out a great strike from the midfielder.Boro hold out until half time at 0-1 and come out alittle more attacking second half but on 74 mins its 0-2 Delph plays the ball first time to Delfouneso who plays in Dzagoev for a simple finish, Dzagoev rounds off the scoring on 80 mins Nikolov trys a shot and its cleared to Dzagoev who hits it first time on the volley and it flys home for 0-3.

Bradford face a in form Barcelona in the Champions Cup a massive task for any club and on 15 mins Bojan puts the visitors ahead with a simple header at the near post, City react well but Valdes is playing well in the Barecelona goal and limites Sweeney to nothing, On 45 mins City are dealt a cruel blow, Rosina stealing in at the back post unmarked to tap in a simple goal.After the break City again attack but at 0-3 down on 50 mins when Kerrison is played through on 50 mins and calmly slots it home.City do eventually get a deserved goal and its a beauty from Frank Lampard, 30 yards out going nowhere and he unleashes a bullet that not even Valdes can stop, Barcelona and Bradford progress from Group G as was expected after the draw really.

Back in the league and a trip to Bolton awaits City who are without Delph, Delfouneso and Jenssen for this one but still field a very strong team, Bolton take a shock lead on 18 mins when a corner cause chaos in the City box and brunt stabs it home from a few yard out.The lead lasts no time at all, Straight from kickoff City attack and level it up on 20 mins when Costa plays it to Dzagoev and a 25 yarder is unleashed into the top corner for 1-1.Both sides attack and Bolton have a few chances to go ahead again.Second half is all City but Al Habsi in the Bolton goal is playing a blinder and makes save after save, City try everything to get ahead but Al Habsi really earnt his team a point here.

Managers Player of the Month - Alan Dzagoev - Again the Russian has performed wonders for us, Scoring another 3 goals in what was a up and down month for us, Delph really shined this month but got injured playing for England for 2-3 week.

Overview of the Month - Started out very well getting through the group stages of the Champions Cup, A solid performance against Boro and grinded out the win over West Ham, Bacrelona was a tough game but we created alot of chances just failed to score them, The draw with Bolton was poor but Al Habsi was just having one of those games where he wasnt going to be beaten twice.

We really need to bring in a new striker in January as Sweeney is not good enough as backup, Will be hard finding a solid striker who isnt cup tied for the Champions Cup but i'll see what i can do, Also need a new AMR as Ljajic is looking to replace Jenssen in MC as i look to cash in on Jenssen while his value is high.

Bradford face Rangers and field a full strength team even though we are through and Rangers look poor for most of the first half and City finally go ahead on 39 mins when Jenssen follows up a blocked Delfouneso shot for 0-1.The second half is all City and its just a matter of time before they score again, That goal comes on 64 mins Delfouneso bursts into the box and lays it back to a unmarked Dzagoev for 0-2.The final goal of the game comes on 72 mins Nikolov hits a cross into the box and Dzagoev manages to get his head to it and flick it into the net.Rangers could have lost by 8 goals here if City were putting away chances.

Bradford travel to arch rivals Leeds and totally dominate from kickoff, Battering the Leeds goal but the goal doesnt look like coming until Delfouneso muscles Shilla off the ball and runs through to stab it home for 0-1.The lead us doubled on 45+1 and its Delfouneso again who scores Ljajic hits it to the far post and its a simple finish for the inform striker.Second half is more of the same with City in total control and on 59 mins Nikolov swings in a corner Onuoha heads it and Davies cant get out of the way as it bounces off him into the net.City should have scored another 3 goals in the last 30 mins but in the end settle for 0-3.

A easy game is expected against West Brom and on 2 mins its 1-0 Nikolov swings in a corner and Onuoha is unmarked back post for the goal.Its 2-0 on 5 mins when Dzagoev is picked out by Costa for a simple close range finish.City control the game from then on and look to score more but its 2-0 at the break.59 mins and its all over, Nikolov again the provider this time a freekick swang into the back post and Costa lashes it home on the volley for 3-0.City cruise the match and could have had more but for some lack luster finishing.

Bradford travel to Newcastle and the match starts off really poor with neither side creating much going forward and when they do the defence and keepers step up the the plate and the half time whistle is a welcome one.Second half is just as poor but eventually we get a goal in the game but sadly it goes for Newcastle as Irwin cuts in from the right and drills it into the bottom corner.City push on for a leveler but really never looked like scoring this game and finally lose.

Managers Player of the Month - Alan Dzagoev - 7 goals for the Russian this month again he is everywhere this season, 26 goals in 28 games this season with 10 assists, Real Madrid came in for the prize man with a 45 million bid but after alot of thinking Berry turned it down, Costa also had a solid month along with Delfouneso.

Overview of the Month - 4 league wins and 1 league draw is a great month for us but sadly we are out of the league cup although it wasnt important for us, Drew Juventus in the Champions Cup so thats a massive game for the club and if we can progress past them who knows where we can go, We are favorites afterall.

Bradford host Newcastle and are looking to punish them after losing in the league to them last time out, The first half is very poor and seems to be following on from the last time these two met and its 0-0 at the break.Secons half starts alittle better and Dzagoev puts City 1-0 up on 57 mins with a fine strike from just inside the box.The lead is doubled on 70 mins when a Nikolov corner is converted at the back post by Leonardi.City control the last 20 mins and are through to the 4th round.

Another massive game for City and on 6 mins they go ahead through Dzagoev with a fine team goal finished by Dzagoev at the back post.The lead it doubled on 26 mins when Costa is found by Ljajic back post for another simple finish.Just before the break Cavani pulls one back with a fine header on 43 mins.Second half and its level on 52 mins when Ba scores a point blank header and on 59 mins Chelsea are ahead when Ba again scores a header this time from a corner.Ljajic levels it up on 83 mins after good work from Delfouneso and the game ends 3-3.

Overview of the Month - A massive month we faced Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal and came away with 2 win, 1 draw and 1 loss from those and won the other 2 league games, 2 cup wins to boot makes it a solid month for us.

Ruben Yttergard Jenssen has moved on to Tottenham for 24 million (over 48 month), While City have signed experienced winger/striker Robin Van Persie from Arsenal for 5 million along with regen striker Francisco Javier Gutierrez for 3.9 million from Celtic.

Tearing the League apart at the moment, doing really well to be above Man City, hopefully Bradford can remain at top but you've had some tough games, good that you've got Man City out of the way in the league.
 
I think on current form depending on injuries we have to be favorites for the league, Paul Jewell who is the Liverpool manager has said Bradford will win the title this season as did Rafa Benitez the Man City manager, I tried to be nice and praise Jewell but my teams moral took a massive hit so i wont be doing that again.

The Champions League is going to be a massive ask for us, Why we were made favorites i really dont know but the Juventus game is coming up soon and thats going to be a big ask for the lads.The FA Cup is something i would like to win too and we are in with a shot in that one.

Still use the same formation as before but the tactics are tweaked for each individual which is working wonders, Scoring freely and have the second best defencive record in the league and create alot of chances each game, We tend to struggle alittle against weaker sides sometimes but we look really strong.Score alot of very late goals too which is a massive plus for us.

The sale of Jenssen has been coming for awhile as hes prone to bookings and was getting alot of interest and 24 million is alot to turn down, Signing Van Persie is a risky move as hes 32 but Ljajic is dropping into CM with Delph now so i needed a AMR with a good long shot, Decent crossing and someone to take freekicks/corners as Leonardi is a wonderkid but was rotting on my bench as Richards was playing CB with Nikolov at RB because he was my corner/freekick taker now i have RVP i can bring in Leonardi and add some extra height at corners.
