Bradford City 2-1 Middlesbrough (Etuhu, Jenssen - Mescheryakov OG)
Bradford face a challanging home game against Boro and after only 53 seconds are 0-1 down when Mescheryakov nods into his own net following a corner, City find start pushing forward and create a few chances before eventually pulling level on 11 mins when Etuhu is played in for a simple finish. On 26 mins City loose Costa to injury which is a massive blow, Its level at the break.City control the second half and finally get ahead on 60 mins when Jenssen powers home from just outside the box.On 68 mins Mescheryakov goes off injured and Boro really push for a leveler, Richaud plays well in goal and Onuoha and Franca hold firm in defence for a massive 3 points for City.

Bristol City 0-1 Bradford City (Etuhu)
Bradford head to Bristol in what will be a close match, On 9 mins Etuhu is found in space for a simple finish, Both teams struggle to get going and the whistle goes for half time in what is so far a very poor match.Second half is more of the same, Neither side create much but on 65 mins Ceravolo earns a spot kick but he fails to convert it, Bradford cruise to victory in what is the worst game of the season so far for us, However we didnt conceed which is rare for us.
MOM - Nedum Onuoha (Bradford City)

English Premier League
West Brom 4-1 Bradford City (Wood, Djourou, Kaboul, Elliot OG - Costa)
City play West Brom and are without Richaud in net, Giving a first start to Elliot who is at best a championship keeper, On 3 mins its 1-0 when Wood finds space in the City box for a simple finish. The lead us doubled on 28 mins when Djourou heads home from a corner, On 45+1 another corner comes in and Kaboul powers home the header. On 53 mins another corner swings into the box and this time Elliot puts a Kaboul header into his own net.Costa pulls one back on 61 mins with a fine run and shot, City push for more and hammer the West Brom goal but look so weak at the back without Richaud they could have conceeded 10 goals here today.
MOM - Scott Carson (West Brom)

English Premier League
Bradford City 2-1 Birmingham (Costa, Conceicao - Mattock OG)
Bradford host Birmingham in what will be another tight game, Richaud is back in goal which is a massive boost for City, City eventually take the lead after alot of pressure when Costa fires home from just outside the box to make it 1-0.On 33 mins a cross is turned into his own net by Mattock and its all level at the break. On 62 mins Obertan goes off injured and on comes Conceicao, Conceicao nets a wonderful freekick 70 mins, A screamer that leaves the keeper no chance.Birmingham push but City hold firm and pick up a nice win.
MOM - Chris Kirkland (Birmingham)

English Premier League
Tottenham 3-0 Bradford City (Palacios, Dzeko, Defoe)
City face a massive task when they travel to London to play Spurs and find themselves 1-0 down after only 7 mins when Palacios smashes home from outside the box.The lead is doubled on 22 mins when Dzeko powers home a header from a Bentley corner. On 45 mins a Defoe effort somehow finds its way past Richaud in the City goal and its looking bad for City.Second half City hold onto the ball abit better and limit Spurs chances but dont really create a chance of note of their own, Spurs dominated the game and left City with no chance at all after that first half.
MOM - Wilson Palacios (Tottenham)

English Premier League
Blackburn 0-2 Bradford City (Ceravolo, Jennsen)
City take on bottom of the league Blackburn which leaves City feeling very confident of taking something from this game, After Costa earns a spot kick on 24 mins the ball is handed to Ceravolo who smashes it home for 1-0, His first goal in 865 mins after such a amazing start to the season he has really crumbled which is why he moved out onto the right with Etuhu playing the loan striker role.City hold on for the first half and kick off the second half in a strong fashion, They get a second goal on 54 mins when Jenssen powers home from 25 yards out leaving Robinson helpless.City control the rest of the match and take another massive 3 points here.
MOM - Ruben Yttergard Jenssen (Bradford City)

English Premier League
Bradford City 3-1 Manchester City (Costa, Etuhu, Fleck - Dos Santos)
Bradford go from playing bottom of the league to top of the league Manchester City and the first half is poor but its City who finally get ahead on 35 mins when Dos Santos finds himself abit of space to drill the ball home from a tight angle.Second half kicks off and Bradford pile forward looking for a leveler and eventually get it when Costa is sent through by Etuhu before curling it into the bottom corner on 58 mins.Bradford continue to push and on 82 mins take the lead, Etuhu picked out by Costa in space for a simple finish, As Man City push for a leveler a long ball from the back finds Fleck going down the left, He cuts inside and drills the ball home for 3-1 on 87 mins.
MOM - Douglas Costa (Bradford City)

Managers Player of the Month - Douglas Costa - 3 goals for the attacking midfielder, Hes playing amazing this season and currently has 12 goals in 18(1) in the league with 5 assists, Etuhu also had a decent month, Hes not the best but with Fleck, Costa, Jenssen, Obertan he will get chances and does know where the goal is.Franca picked up Young player of the month for us making it 4/5, The youth in our ranks is clearly impressive.

Overview of the Month - A massive month for us, Just amazing 5 wins and 2 losses, Won manager of the month too something i didnt think i would do at all this season, The win over Man City was amazing, We seem to have found our feet again at home, The Spurs loss hurt but they're a strong side, The West Brom loss i put down to not having a decent backup keeper something i'm looking into now the transfer window is open.

Joe Mattock has been signed up now, Still yet to decide if i want Fleck yet, My board have given me another 15 million in transfer funds after increase in finacial income which is nice, Taking my funds to 30 million but i wont be spending much of it, I did look into signing Alan Dzagoev from Dinamo Kiev but they wanted 28.5 million for him which is way out of my price range right now.

Some great results, your wining home and away which is fantastic, good signing in Mattock as well

fantastic read mate, keep it up
are you still using the same tactics u mentioned in ur first season

Some really impressive results there mate, Keep it up :)

fantastic read mate, keep it up
are you still using the same tactics u mentioned in ur first season

Most of it is the same s7eve, Only change is both MC's are now box to box midfielders, AMC is advanced playmaker set to attack, Ofcourse some of the player instructions have changed but thats all based on who i have playing.Everyone else has the same role as before and it seems to be working well in terms of attacking.I was never going to be the strongest in defence in my first season so i made sure my attack was strong enough to get me through the season.

Only one real signing in the window for us, Jack Wilshere joining from Arsenal for 1.8 million, One of the hot prospects in the Arsenal team and he has never played a game for them since i started the game, they just let him rot and sent him out on loan,I was linked with him even though i really wasnt in the market for a new attacking midfielder but when i saw he was transfer listed and has stats better than Fleck plus can play all across midfield i decided to pick him up.

Bradford host Sunderland and really go for it from the kickoff, Creating a few chances before finally getting the lead on 18 mins when Ceravolo is played through by Conceicao and he fires it home for 1-0.The rest of the half is very close but come half time Bradford are ahead and look good value for that lead.Second half starts aweful when a cross is turned into his own net by backup keeper Estrela, Not the way we wanted to start the half, City do push to get level and on 55 they do just that, Ceravolo nods it down and Costa fires home from outside on the volley.Sunderland do push for a leveler but City hold firm at the back, Onuoha and Mescheryakov really performed in this match, Covering for Estrela and helping City to 3 points.

English Premier League
Chelsea 1-0 Bradford City (Hunt)
Another massive task for City as they head down to play Chelsea, Again its that early goal that costs City, Hunt again scoring past City after only 3 mins, Firing home from just inside the box.The rest of the half is more Chelsea but City look threatening on the counter but are behind at the break.Second half is more of the same as both teams create chances but both keepers perform well and it ends 1-0, On another day City could have had something from this game but as it is they find themselves on the end of a defeat.
MOM - Frank Lampard (Chelsea)

Managers Player of the Month - Cherubin Estrela - The backup keeper gets it this month, He has'nt played at all for us since joining and has been on loan twice and only played 4 games, He came in to face Chelsea and Everton away and played well, Had 1 bad mistake against Sunderland but we won the game, Against Chelsea he really shined.

Overview of the Month - Out of the FA Cup but really staying up is all that matters this season, 2 away defeats but they were to strong teams, The win over Sunderland was really nice, 3 points from 9 is'nt too bad considering the teams i had to play.

Overview of the Month - The loss to Burnley was hard to take but they deserved the win, The win over West Ham was massive although we made it hard for ourselves, A draw with Villa was ok although we deserved more and the loss to Arsenal was harsh on us, A draw would have been the fair result but thats football. No home win this month but we are still sitting a solid 11th in the league another 10-15 points should see us safe and then we can push on and see what our final position is.

End of season review to follow.

Season overview - Overall a great season for us, Finishing a impressive 12th on 55 points which is alot better than i ever expected, At the start of the season i would have laughed if i was told i would finish level on points with Manchester United and only below them thanks to a 3 goal difference, The key for us was going forward, The single striker with 3 attacking midfielders worked wonders and next season i will be looking to add to that with a few improvments.

Second season is up and coming and here is the expectations and budget given by the board, Also upgrading the stadium which will cost 15 million or so, Youth and Training academy also getting upgraded at 500k each.

View attachment 20477

I'll update once the first month is over but theres 2 massive signings for City, One i have been after since last season and one who is just a legend but more of that later.

Great season, push for top 10 next season with that budget me thinks, what was you attendances like?

Only a 22,120 all seater right now, Last season average attendance was 20,000 roughly, Current season has already sold out season tickets (16795), Current expansion will add another 10864 which is needed as we are still growing in size as a club.

Well, The season is underway and City are building a strong team, Mescheryakov has been replaced at CB by Leonardi who is on his way to being better than Onuoha and hes still only 19.City have struggled to keep hold of the key players this season turning down big bids from big clubs and it has unsettled a few of them.None of them have been allowed to leave as we are building something special here and the signings we have made add to that.

City's first move on the transfer window was to welcome John Fleck to the club after his loan spell, He will only play as backup but its not bad backup to have.City splashed the cash on the player Berry chased all last season, Alan Dzagoev joining from Dinamo Kiev for 18 million, He will be taking Costa's place in AMC with Costa moving out left. The next move was to welcome a English legend to the City ranks, A 36 year old Frank Lampard joining for free from Chelsea, 59k a week was too good Lamps to turn down.

Other club news, Sergio Conceicao has finally retired at the grand old age of 39 but made a big impact on Berry in his time at the club so he is welcomed with open arms as the new Bradford City assistant manager, Another big name joins the coaching staff in Michael Owen who joins Patrick Berger on the coaching staff at City.

Managers Player of the Month - Alan Dzagoev - What a impact the Russian has made since joining the club, Scored 2 in the league with 2 assists, 4 in the cup and 3 assists, Quality signing and at 18 million for a player who is still only 24 is cheap in todays market.Ceravolo also had a amazing month netting 5 goals in all competitions and ofcourse Costa who picked up player of the month for August while Richaud was named young player of the month.

Overview of the Month - Hammered Villa away from home and scored freely, Had a harder time against Sunderland but we took it to them in the second half and when Spurs came to town they were totally dominated by us.The win over Vale was nice too, Expected but nice to score so many and see Dzagoev pick up a rating of 10 made it even better.

Blimey, blitzing start to the league, Dzagoev and Ceravolo are really taking you places, hopefully you can sustain form like this in the coming months.

Is Dzagoev a god anywhere?? :D

Ps, If not he should be ;)

MOM - Petr Cech (Chelsea)

Managers Player of the Month - Fabio Ceravolo - Another massive month for the Italian 5 goals taking his tally up to 10 goals in 8 games in all competitions, Got to give Etuhu a mention too the player has performed season after season when called upon and while his stats may not be the best he gets those important goals when needed.

Overview of the Month - Another amazing month, Unbeaten start to the season continues, The win over Bolton was impressive as we dominated the game, The draw with Stoke was abit of a let down but we bounced back quickly against them in the cup and dominated once it went to extra time, The Chelsea result just made it a perfect end to the month, We are looking like a very solid unit this season from back to front we look strong. We lack depth though so a injury to key players could send us down alittle but for now its going amazing.

We finally got some talent through the youth ranks this season and here is a player i expect big things from in the future, He is quite the player and only 16 and will be given a shot in the first team if Ceravolo takes a knock.

A big month next month for us as we face Liverpool away and Arsenal at home with Birmingham, Newcastle and Reading to play aswell, I'll be hoping for 3 wins over them and take whatever i can against Liverpool and Arsenal.

good work mate, best of luck for the season, don't think you'll be fighting Relegation so fingers crossed you push for Europe, maybe even title on current form.

tbh, its unlucky that you finished 12th despite getting 55 points on your previous season. apparently, the league was very competitive in your game, though im sure you'll definitely improve on last year's position and do better this time round

The league is so close on my game, 09/10 winners Chelsea, 10/11 winners Arsenal, 11/12 winners Manchester United, 12/13 winners Liverpool, 13/14 winners Tottenham, Current league could go anywhere but there has been no run away team on my game the title changing hands every season, I would like to say we are in with a shot on current form but i'll be happy with a place in Europe and push on from there. My prediction is Manchester City for this season which will mean another new team picks it up.

MOM - Ilyes Richaud (Bradford City)

English Premier League
Bradford City 3-1 Newcastle (Etuhu, Ceravolo, Costa - Guthrie)
Bradford face Newcastle and are very confident of a win and when Etuhu cuts in from the right on 4 mins and drills it home its a good start for City. The lead is doubled on 17 mins when Ceravolo earns and converts a penalty and its all too easy for City.A Guthrie strike on 26 mins lets City know Newcastle are still in this one but City control the game until the break.Second half is all City but with a one goal lead its never safe and Newcastle win a corner on 86 mins but a clearance from Nikolov finds Costa free in space and he drives forward with purpose to hammer it home for 3-1.
MOM - Douglas Costa (Bradford City)

English Premier League
Birmingham 0-2 Bradford City (Ceravolo, Leonardi)
Bradford face a tough game against Birmingham, City really struggle to get going against weaker sides and Birmingham have a few early chances to go ahead but fail to take them, Ceravolo however doesnt miss chances often and he proves that on 24 mins when a hopeful ball falls at his feet outside the box and he just lashes it home.Birmingham have the better of the half but failure to score has cost them.Second half is all Birmingham but again they fail to score and another late goal for City gives them all 3 points, Leonardi converting a Nikolov corner on 88 mins.
MOM - Francesco Leonardi (Bradford City)

English Premier League
Bradford City 1-4 Arsenal (Ceravolo - Senderos, Vermaelen, Nasri, Fabregas)
2nd play 3rd in a massive clash today and its Arsenal who get off to a flyer, Fabregas swinging in a corner and Senderos converting at close range on 2 mins. Both sides push forward but the first half is all about the defence of both teams as neither side score and its 0-1 at the break.Second half gets off to a flyer for City a Ceravolo wonderstrike from 30 yards out levels it up, The lead is gone on 52 mins another Fabregas corner and this time its Vermaelen who converts, Its 1-3 on 57 mins when Nasri is found in space for a cool finish and who better to round off the scoring on 63 mins than Fabregas, A wonderful freekick puts the result in no doubt.City have been undone by corners something they are always weak on and need to work on.
MOM - Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal)

Bradford head to bottom of the league Reading as they look to pick up another 3 points and when Dzagoev is sent clean through on 5 mins the Russian makes no mistake.Reading do really well and cause City a few problems without really creating much, 44 mins see's a rare City attack earn a freekick on the edge of the box that Nikolov curles into the bottom corner.Second half is all City and on 63 mins Dzagoev nets another fine solo effort skinning 2 defenders before hammering it home. The match is finished off on 78 mins with a goal for Garvan making a rare start with Lampard suspended, He clamly nods home from close range.
MOM - Alan Dzagoev (Bradford City)

Managers Player of them Month - Fabio Ceravolo - This is becoming a common sight, 4 more goals for the Italian he has a eye for goal thats for sure 19 goals in 18 games in all competitions 15 in 15 in the league, Leonardi picked up young player of the month thats 2 for him and 2 for Richaud so far, Wonder if we can pick it up for the entire season.

Overview of the Month - A amazing start to the month as we crushed Liverpool in their own back yard again, Continued with a solid win over Newcastle before grinding out a win over a game Birmingham, Arsenal came to town and let us know we are not quite there but we finished very strong against Reading, 12 points from 15 i'm not going to complain at all.

We have a amazing team going forward and we are strong at defending apart from corners which i need to sort out, Ceravolo is leading the team to big things but with solid performances comes big interest and i see bids coming in January for my prize players. We need to keep hold of them to if we want to challange all season for Europe.
