Liverpool 2-0 Bolton

Once again this was the Torres show. He scored both goals and could have had about 4 more. His first goal came after a Reina kick went straight over the Wanderers' defence and Torres just slotted home. His second came after he was released down the right wing and after cutting inside he calmly finished from a tight angle. Good resut.

Liverpool 3-0 Lokomotiv Moskow (Europa League)

After already qualifying for the last 16 I decided to bring in a few fringe players once again. Ayala, Shelvey, Babel & Degen came in. Dirk Kuyt opened the scoring with an effort from the edge of the box which flew into the top corner. Joe Cole then doubled the lead with a header from a Babel cross, and Torres was there again finishing another one-on-one well.

Liverpool 3-2 Aston Villa

A solid performance from the lads. Torres was rested and didn't make an appearance. Gerrard finally had a good game and finished the game with 2 to his name. Joe Cole also got on the scoresheet. Great result.

Liverpool 4-1 Manchester City

A tricky month started well for us with Cole and Gerrard bagging a brace each. Man City did line up strongly and with the talent they've got it did concern me, however my team at the moment seems like they believe they can beat anyone and with such a tricky month I could'nt have wished for a better start.

Liverpool 3-0 Tottenham

Coming off the back of such a great result against Man City we were to face more top 4 competition. Torres was back with a bang scoring 2 scorching efforts both from the 25 yard region. Babel completed the rout with what could possibly be the goal of the season as he hit a thunder bolt from 40 yards which whistled into the top corner.

Liverpool 4-2 Vitoria Sport Club (Europa League)

Another solid victory to keep our 100% Europa League record in tact. Gerrard continued his great goalscoring form with a solid drive from 10 yards whilst Joe Cole continued his good form too. Other goals came from William Gallas which was a powerful header and Maxi Rodriguez who returned to form.

Liverpool 1-1 Everton

The first merseyside derby of my career and I had no Cole, Kolarov, Johnson or Substitute keeper'. We were awarded a penalty quite early on and when you saw Gerrard step up you'd have put your house on him scoring. Howard guessed the right way and it was a great save to push it away from danger. About 7 minutes later Everton were controversially awarded a corner and as it often happens in football towering centre half Sylvain Distin forced in a Mikel Arteta Cross. Torres was brought on at half time having been left on the bench due to poor fitness. In the 50th minute El Nino struck with an outrageous chip.

Liverpool 4-2 Chelsea (League Cup)

We went into this game full of confidence and that certainly showed. Chelsea were missing Mikel, Terry and Carvalho and with Torres and Gerrard on such good form that didn't bode well for the London club. Torres, Rodriguez and Ex-Blue Joe Cole were on form for the Reds as they brushed aside Chelsea with ease. An Ashley Cole own goal left him red faced and confirmed the victory for Liverpool as they go marching on into the semi's where they'll meet Bolton.

Liverpool 3-0 Wolves

After a poor start to the season for 'Stevie G' his form has picked up of late. After today's game papers were hailing the game as the Gerrard Show, he picked up not only the match ball but the man of the match trophy in a performance that blew Wolves manager Mick McCarthy away.

Liverpool 3-0 Newcastle

It was the third time we'd met The Toon Army this season and the second time we've tought them a footballing lesson. In our last game of 2009 Torres signed off on a positive with another brace to add to his tally for the season. Maxi Rodriguez showed why he is so highly rated with a great individual piece of skill before pouncing on his on rebounded effort to place into an empty net. Good year for the lads.

Joe cole is having a quality season, hopefully it will resemble how he'll play next season irl :D

Not alot of activity this window apart from outs really. Sold Jovanovic and Agger hoping to raise funds for transfers but only £640k of that £11m was given to us :S

League Table

Happy with our position there at the top, with good strength in depth pleased at where we are at the moment :)

Premiership stats

Torres appearing in alot of the sections which doesn't surprise me after he's had an amazing season so far. Gerrard also chipping in with 10 goals which is always helpful from a midfielder ^^)

Liverpool 2-1 Cardiff (FA Cup 3rd Round)

Liverpool fans travelled to Wales today as an expectant crowd only to be shocked. Liverpool took the lead against the run of play when Aquilani's effort was deflected to wrong foot Enckleman. Cardiff were straight out the blocks and they took the lead when a mix up between James and Skrtel enabled enthusiastic striker Ross McCormack to slot home. Liverpool went into the half time break shellshocked and once again The Reds called on star man Fernando Torres. He replaced N'Gog and got what turned out to be the winner after he latched onto an Aquilani through ball before a good finish.

Liverpool 1-0 Bolton (League Cup Semi Final First Leg)

Liverpool fans wanted silverware and the Reds manager would stop at nothing to get that for them. I put out the strongest team I could and after 10 minutes we had 91% of the possesion. Just before half time Gerrard was too quick for Petrov as he was brought down inside the area. He picked himself up to smash into the roof of the net from 12 yards. In the 50th minute I brought on Milan Jovanovic for his farewell appearance and it could have been a fairytail ending when Ryan Babel was pushed and Liverpool were given yet another penalty, however this time Jaaskelinen guessed right and there was to be no last goal for Jovanovic.

Liverpool 3-0 Wigan

Liverpool looked to carry on their impressive premier league record at the DW Stadium and when N'Zogbia put into his own net it all seemed to be piecing together nicely. Babel capitalised on a mistake from Kirkland to poke in from 2 yards and William Gallas, the eventual man of the match scored his 4th of the season with a bullet header.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

After our 4-2 victory in the League Cup I had hight hopes for this one. However with alot of their 'better' defensive players back they proved hard to break down and in the end it was a bore draw.

Liverpool 4-0 Blackburn

Ballack opened the scoring for us with a good 20 yard effort, also getting his first goal for the club. Babel continued his good form with another great individual goal, followed by the 2 icons linking up well and in the end Gerrard played through Torres for him to finish well. Gerrard himself wanted to get upon the act and when Liverpool were awarded a free kick about 30 yards out Gerrard had nothing else on his mind apart from to shoot. And shoot he did as the ball flew past Robinson as he could do nothing about it. Great result.

Doing really well in the league but im surprised to see agger go.especially for 5.5M.Hes always been quality for me and definitely worth more than that. But as i said your doing well and its your story so i wont criticise your judgements.ill follow purely as its a fresh pool story (H)

haha cheers mate, i let him go because he was one of the few players teams were interested in and i needed funds, but i only got £300k of his transfer fee lol. going to have to stick with my squad for this year and look to add to it next year XD

Yeah i always find Purslow very stingy as chairman whenever he takes over. Have you asked the board for extra funds? Oh and what leagues have you loaded?

Yeah asked but no joy :S and italy, germany and spain top league and then right the way down to blue square north/south in england :)

Cool. But of advice when funds are low.keep an eye out on South African and Korean teams as in my story both are producing quality regens and are very cheap.I always do liverpool saves so if you need any advice or help just send me a pm.
Ill stop now before i spam your thread and let you get on with it :D

Liverpool 2-1 Bolton (League Cup Semi Final Second Leg)

I was again keen to win today as I want as much silverware as possible. For one to help raise funds and two to help regain Liverpool's stature as a big club. The game started brightly for us as Babel used his pace to get past Steinson before beating Jaaskelinen at his near post. Harewood equalised with a wonderful striker on the 35 minute mark but Mr Liverpool himself won the penalty before stepping up to convert, yes Steven Gerrard secured the victory and our place in the final where we will face Manchester City.

Liverpool 2-0 Ipswich (FA Cup 4th Round)

So another cup game in which I wanted to win. Even though they're a division below I knew Ipswich wouldn't be an easy game so I therefore fielded a full strength side. Gerrard scored in the 20th minute to put us ahead and when Joe Cole came on at half time less than a minute into his game there he was, on the back post ready to head home a Dirk Kuyt cross. Exeter in the next round.

Liverpool 3-0 Birmingham

Probably our 3 most 'on form' players again today came up with the goods when asked. Babel opened the scoring after a good run throught the middle well spotted by Rodriguez resulted in a one-on-one which couldn't be missed. Gerrard scored 3 minutes later, Rodriguez again the provider with a teasing cross which found Gerrard who volleyed in from 6 yards. Maxi Rodriguez again involved but this time he was the scorer, Insua crossed in from the left and it somehow found it's way to Rodriguezo on the back post who was there to tap home and round of a man of the match performance.
