Liverpool 2-0 Arsenal

The third time we've met Arsenal this season and we won for the third time. Dirk Kuyt opened the scoring with a great finish from 16 yards after a neat turn to get away from Vermaelen. Joe Cole then pounced on a Torres shot hit the post and Cole turned in. A great victory for us.

Liverpool 1-1 Man Utd

To keep our unbeaten record in tact now after 30 games is a great achievement, especially for it to be at Old Trafford. Rooney gave the red devils the lead just after half time but towering centre half William Gallas rescued us late on with a great header which left Van Der Sar helpless.

Liverpool 2-1 Stoke

Mascherano gave us the lead with a good finish from the edge of the box. Kitson pegged us back with a good finish and put us on the rocks. El Nino came on and once again saved us and rescued our 3 points. A great result, unbeaten in 31.

Liverpool 4-0 Exeter (FA Cup 5th Round)

A relatively straight forward task to progress to the sixth round and our so called 'B team' did it in style. Gosling got his first goal for the club and N'Gog got a brace. Maxi rounded off the scoring with a good individual 25 yard strike. Fulham or Swansea next up.

Going away until the 15th so won't be updating til' then, any comments still welcomed and advice of course :) thanks for following so far! 8-|

Just Managed To Squeeze In One Last Update ;)

Liverpool 1-2 Sampdoria (Europa League 1st Knockout Round)

Definately a game I wanted to win. I'd have accepted a score draw as away goals play such a big part in European football. Pazzini was destroying Carragher and Gallas for pace and the breakthrough came when Cassano sliced open the defence and Pazzini finished first time. Just 2 minutes later Pazzini was at it again, this time Palombo winning the header that luckily broke for Pazzini and once again he wasn't going to miss a one-on-one. At this point I was just hoping for one goal, and that came when Maxi Rodriguez finished from a tight angle giving us that crucial away goal.

Liverpool 3-0 Fulham

Got us back on track after a shock defeat in Italy. 2 goals for us inside the first 10 minutes really flattened Fulham. Skrtel got the third with a good header of 29 minutes. A good result in a match we really dominated.

Liverpool 5-1 Sampdoria (Europa League 1st Knockout Round 2nd Leg) (AET)

We needed to win to go through. Joe Cole got us the goal that would send us through in the 41st minute. If it stayed like this we would progress because of the away goals rule. However Pazzini was up to his old tricks as he equalised with a good finish to break Liverpool hearts. But just 7 minutes later Dirk Kuyt bundled home a Ryan Babel cross to take the tie to extra time. In the 3rd minute of extra time Joe Cole got another, this time a wonderful strike from about 20 yards. Ryan Babel got another goal for The Reds making it a little more comfortable making it 4-1 on night, 5-3 on aggregate. Dirk Kuyt finished the rout with a header in the 117th minute making it a memorable night for Liverpool fans, sending them through to face Ajax in the Europa League second knockout round.

Liverpool 1-0 Manchester City (League Cup Final) (AET)

Liverpool fans had been waiting for this day. The first 90 minutes were tense and when Maxi Rodriguez was put through on numerous occasions it just wasn't his day. It went to extra time and once again Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard hit a spectacular volley from the edge of the box, which won Liverpool the League Cup! Proud of the boys!

Looking good don't forget to keep updating and try get past the first season but well done looking good.

cheers mate, yeah definately will do, enjoying this one :)

Liverpool 3-0 Swansea (FA Cup 6th round)

After a dissapointing first half I brought Torres on for Gerrard. The change possibly a bit risky as you all know how well Gerrard has done this season. But the change paid off as Torres got another hat-trick to send us through to the Semi's of the FA Cup where we will meet Reading.

Liverpool 0-1 Ajax (Europa League 2nd Knockout Round 1st Leg)

No Gerrard for today's big game so I had to rely on Torres. He couldn't finish to save his life today as he had numerous oppurtunities. Djalo broke free in the 89th minute but was denied by a great save by Reina, only for Sulejmani to follow up and give Ajax the victory.

Liverpool 3-0 Sunderland

Gerrard was amazing today and must have 50% of the 33 shots. He got the goal he deserved in stoppage time. After Maxi Rodriguez had scored the other 2. Reserved with the victory.

Sorry did not see it earlier I was updating my story but good update best of luck with the Premier League.

Liverpool 3-1 Ajax (Europa League 2nd Knockout Round Leg 2)

We went 1-0 up but our joy was short lived as Gallas conceded a pen to give Ajax that crucial away goal. 1-1 it was and Dirk Kuyt was there again as he headed in a Gerrard cross to give Liverpool the lead on the day, but we would still go out on away goals. As time was running out we were awarded a free kick, Gerrard played it into Gallas who finished well for his 6th goal of the season putting us through to the Quarter's of the Europa League where we will meet Schalke.

Liverpool 3-1 West Ham

N'Gog came in for the unfit Torres and my decision to play him instead of Maxi payed off as he gave us the lead in the 12th minute with a good composed finish. Gerrard got a brace to bring up his 20th goal of the season which is a wonderful achievement for a guy who's played alot of the season in central midfield.

Liverpool 1-0 West Brom

Not a bad game to watch. Quite alot of action but mainly in the centre of the park. An early goal composed us and we never looked like losing.

going to do a big end of season update, 4 games to go :) and possibly a few cup finals ;)

As this will be a massive update I will just list the results and screenshots. But the Final's will be in more detail.

Liverpool 2-0 Schalke (Europa League Quarter Final)

Liverpool 1-2 Aston Villa

Liverpool 1-1 Schalke (Europa League Quarter Final 2nd Leg)

Liverpool 3-1 Tottenham

Liverpool 2-0 Sevilla (Europa League Semi Final)

Liverpool 3-1 Manchester City (Won Premiership)

Liverpool 1-0 Sevilla (Europa League Semi Final 2nd Leg)

Liverpool 1-2 Everton

Liverpool 3-1 Reading (FA Cup Semi Final) (AET)

Liverpool 2-1 Chelsea

Liverpool 2-1 Leverkusen (Europa League Final)

We'd done it! We'd won the Europa League! After scares against Ajax and Sampdoria we'd defeated all odds to win the Europa League! The game was tense as you could see both sides didn't want to lose. Leverkusen took the lead after 6 minutes when Keissling slotted calmly past the on-rushing Pepe Reina. Steven Gerrard rallied to troops and he himself equalised for Liverpool with a trademark 30 yard piledriver 10 minutes before half time. The game looked as if it were to go to extra time until Michael Ballack got undoubtedly his biggest and most important goal for the club in the 84th minute with a bullet header. Liverpool held out to lift the cup and do the treble! With the FA Cup just days away could it be a quadruple?

Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham (FA Cup Final)

Liverpool had done the impossible! they had won the quadruple after brushing aside Tottenham to win the FA Cup! Maxi scored what proved to be the eventual winner but just 14 minutes after his glory he was carried off wth what looks to be like a broken leg. None the less, Liverpool held out to claim the famous Quadruple and many Liverpool legends have hailed Joshua Malin as quite possibly the best manager ever to grace Anfield.
